McBusted's Pokémon Adventures Part 11 - Home is where is treasure is

 Here is part eleven of my fan fiction for two of my favourite boy bands McFly and Busted in their super group McBusted where they continued their tour in the world of Pokémon at the Paldea region from the Gen 9 games. During their tour in the Paldea region, the McBusted boys have befriended with a Koriadon and a Miraidon along with Nemona, Arven and Penny who taught them about the Terastal Phenomenon which lead them to bigger secrets that hide within the Paldea region. Chapter 1: A Paradox encounter

 Continuing their tour around the world of Pokémon, McFly and Busted as joined together as McBusted have arrived in Paldea, a region with its vast variety of habitats. “I’ve heard from someone saying something about setting out in the world and finding your treasure” said Tom. “What could that mean?” asked Charlie with curiosity.  “Maybe Paldea has a hidden treasure somewhere” said Dougie jokingly. “Actually, I believe it’s a metaphorical treasure you get to decide what’s your treasure as you explore Paldea” said James in deep thought. “I wonder if we’ll get to find our treasure here?” said Harry. “Well we better get out there and find it!” said Matt who is ready for an adventure. “I say that I already have my own treasure; touring and making music with you all” said Danny. They all smiled and agreed with that.

 As they were touring throughout Paldea (including one of the shows in Levincia when James was wearing an alien-like mask on stage although he nearly fell off the stage), the McBusted boys took their time to explore Paldea themselves, obtaining and raising some brand new Pokémon along the way including Ceruledge for Danny, Skeledirge for Tom, Meowscarada for James, Baxcalibur for Charlie, Armarouge for Dougie, Kingambit for Matt and Quaquaval for Harry.

 “Now who got my toast?” asked Danny whose toast was missing. “Sounds like a cat got your breakfast!” said Harry jokingly as the one who stole his toast as a joke. “Leave my Meowscarada and one of my Sugar Beach songs out of this!” called James. “Think of all the songs I can come up with, with the help from Skeledirge!” said Tom as he sang with his Skeledirge. “I bet Quaquaval can help to inspire dance moves just like back in the days when I was in Strictly” said Harry.

 Danny, Dougie and James were walking by Casseroya Lake when they found some sushi-like fish known as Tatsugiris (in each of their forms). “Now that’s some tasty sushi!” said Dougie. “Let’s catch them!” said Danny and the trio tossed their Pokeballs at them, only for them to miss and get sprayed by their Water Gun. The Tatsugiris then jumped into the water and a huge catfish known as a Dondozo emerged from the lake. “Run!” cried James as they were unnerved by its huge appearance.

 Harry and Matt were at Asado Desert and found an ostrich-like Pokémon Espathra. “Let’s catch it!” said Harry but Espathra ran away. “Come back!” called Matt but Espathra ran fast using its ability Speed Boost. It ran in the distance, causing Harry and Matt to lose sight of it. “You know, I thought your marathon training would have helped here” said Matt breathlessly. “Oh shut up” muttered Harry.

Tom, Charlie, Gallade and Gardevoir were walking along the cliff-top beach but the path unexpectedly broke off, causing Gallade and Gardevoir to fall off. “Oh no!” cried Tom and he and Charlie were trying to reach them. Luckily, a dolphin Pokémon Palafin spotted this and transformed into its Hero form, giving the appearance of a superhero and leapt up to rescue the two shiny Pokémon. “Is it a boat? Is it a Submarine?” asked Tom. “No it’s Palafin!” said Charlie with Palafin bringing Gallade and Gardevoir to safety. Tom and Charlie give their thanks to Palafin afterwards.

 Sometime later while the McBusted boys were walking along Poco Beach, Gallade and Gardevoir heard some noises. They alerted them. “What’s wrong?” asked Matt as they were pointing towards Inlet Grotto. “Hey, I heard something too” said Harry and Gallade and Gardevoir followed them towards Inlet Grotto. Inside the cave, they have found a group of Houndour led by a Houndoom harassing two large Pokémon. One of them resembled a large red bike dragon known as a Koraidon and the other looks like a big purple motorbike dragon known as a Miraidon.

 “What are they?!” exclaimed Charlie. “I read that they are the two legendary Pokémon; Koraidon and Miraidon but what are they doing here?!” said Tom. “Hey! Bog off here!” cried Dougie, trying to repel Houndoom and its pack, only for them to attack the boys. But Gallade and Gardevoir protected them with their Close Combat and Moonblast, causing the pack to run off.

 This gives the boys a chance to walk towards the two legendary Pokémon. “Are you both alright?” said Danny. Koraidon and Miraidon appreciated their help, giving them a weak but friendly growling sound. They also seem a little sad as if they’re homesick. “You can come with us” said James. They both appreciated their offer.

 Both Koraidon and Miraidon were gentle but shy and didn’t have as much strength. The McBusted boys have decided to share their sandwich for their picnic along with their other Pokémon. “It’ll be a great way to build up your strength!” said Tom as they gathered their ingredients. “Hope this will perk them up” said Charlie. “Bet I can make the biggest sandwich!” said Danny who piled up a lot of fillings. He got a bit carried away and the filling ingredients collapsed when he tried to put the top bread on. “That’s probably too big pal” said Matt dryly. Dougie had added a lot of spicy ingredients, so spicy that when he took a bite out of it, his mouth got burned. “Fire! Fire!” cried Dougie. Koradion and Miraidon were laughing at their antics. Their other Pokémon have found it amusing too.  This has made the McBusted boys smile.

 Nevertheless, the Sandwiches have helped to increase Koraidon and Miraidon’s strengths. They weren’t at their full strength but they had enough power to transport the McBusted boys including by gliding on the air, climbing on walls or swimming across the water. This gives the McBusted boys a chance to see more of Paldea with the McFly boys riding on Koraidon and the Busted boys riding on Miraidon. “Woah! Paldea is beautiful!” said Danny with amazement as the two legendary Pokémon took them on the top of a mountain. “Koradion shall be our Dragon Ball!” said Tom. “I bet Miraidon can take us to the Year 3000!” said James.They all smiled affectionely with each other, happy that they all get to see Paldea's beauty together. 

 On top of the mountain, they have found some glowing herbs. “Hey, they are fancy-looking herbs” said Matt. “Let’s take some for our ingredients” said Harry. The McBusted boys were already having a huge adventure in Paldea with Koradion and Miraidon by their side but their adventure was about to get bigger. Little that they know that someone was aware of the McBusted boys befriending the two legendary Pokémon as tracked on their phones.

 Chapter 2: Terastallization Lesson

During their break, The McBusted boys received an invitation from the chairwoman of the Naranja Academy and Paldea’s top champion Geeta for a visit to Naranja Academy, offering to show them a demonstration about Terallization; a phenomenon that occurs within the Paldea region. “Terallization sounds interesting” said Danny who is open to learning about it. “The Naranja Academy looks so huge” said Tom as he looked at the huge building with fascination as they were making their way. “Those students look enthusiastic to learn all about Pokémon. Bet it’s what they go to school for” said James taking notice of the aspiring young Pokémon trainers.

They meet up with Geeta at the reception hall. “Welcome to the Paldea region, McFly and Busted. I’m Geeta. I’ve been hearing about you all” said Geeta, greeting them in a composed, professional manner. “It’s a pleasure to meet you Ms Geeta” said Harry as they all shook hands with her. “We’ve been having fun, seeing what Paldea has in store for us while touring” said Charlie. “That’s great to hear. I thought while you are touring, it’ll be a good opportunity to learn about Terallization” said Geeta.

“It’ll be my pleasure, as long as we’re not going to have boring school lessons” said Dougie jokingly. Tom glared at Dougie, the one who is known to have a big mouth. But Geeta seemed to appreciate Dougie’s humour as shown by her bright smile. “Don’t worry, I can assure you that we at the Naranja Academy strive to brighten our students with engaging lessons as you’re about to find out if you all follow me” said Geeta, leading them to the battlefield.

Once they arrive, she sends out her Glimmora, using her Pokémon to demonstrate Terallization. “Terastallization is Paldea’s speciality that can be used for battles. It can change or enhance the Pokémon’s typing as you’re about to see for yourself” said Geeta who charged up her Tera Orb and tossed it towards Glimmora, causing the flower jewel Pokémon to become crystallized with a ghost-like jewel to appear on its head.

“Wow! That’s amazing!” said Matt upon witnessing Terasllization for the first time. “With Terastallization; this Glimmora of mine is now a Ghost type. It can be used to make the Pokémon’s typing stronger or turn the tide of the battle with its type changed until the end of the battle” said Geeta. “Now that is something that I could try for my battles!” said Harry who is the competitive one. “I’m glad you said that as you’ll be having the chance to test out Terallization yourselves. Consider these Tera Orbs a gift for your visit to Paldea” said Geeta, handing over the Tera Orbs. “Thank for very much Ms Geeta! I can’t wait to see my Pokémon shine like yours!” said Tom as the McBusted boys were delighted with the offer.

“My pleasure though this is where you’ll get to test it out yourselves with my fellow aspiring students who will be battling with you all” said Geeta with three young students made their way to the battlefield. They were Nemona, Arven and Penny. “Hi! I am Nemona! I’ve been watching your show and I can’t hold my excitement to battle you all!” said Nemona showing her friendliness and enthusiasm. “It’s a pleasure to have a Pokémon battle with a fan of ours” said Danny smiling. “I don’t know why I am called here but still, I guess I’ll get to see if your battling skills can measure up with your singing” said Arven who sounds a little guarded. “You bet we will!” said Dougie. “I...can’t believe I get to battle with you all! I’m...a fan of your music too” said Penny who was star-struck being the shy one. “Don’t worry, it’s always a delight to meet you fans” said James gently.

Geeta has arranged a tag battle with the three students who will Terastallized one of their Pokémon. Nemona will be battling Tom and Harry, Arven gets to fight with Charlie and Matt and Penny is assigned to battle with Danny, James and Dougie. “I’ll be watching to see how you all battle. Good luck to you all” said Geeta as the tag-battle commence.

“I’m the School Council President and Top President! You both better match my skills!” said Nemona eagerly, sending out her Pawmot and Orthworm to fight against Tom’s Skeledirge and Harry’s Quaquaval. “You bet we will!” said Tom as they both terastallized their Pokémon with Tom’s singing crocodile becoming a Fire-type and Harry’s dancing duck becoming a Water-type.  Nemona terastallized her Pawmot, becoming a pure Electric-type which powered up the fighting marmot’s Double Shock attack as said by Nemona “This is going to get shocking!” Tom had a clever idea and commanded Skeledirge to fire its Torch Song at Pawmot to intercept it before it could attack Harry’s Quaquaval with Torch Song becoming stronger via Teratallization.

“Wow! I never seen a move working like that!” said Nemona with surprise. “I happened to have my thinking cap on just like when it comes to my writing” said Tom. “And now it’s my time to shine with our dance!” said Harry with Quaquaval using Aqua Step towards Pawmot but it was blocked by Orthworm using Body Press combined with its defensives. “Nice try but we’re not backing down that easily!” said Nemona with the iron worm-like Pokémon charging in with Iron Head. Tom’s Skeledirge blocked Orthworm using Torch Song.

With it being super effective, Orthworm was knocked out. “Well done there but we aren’t giving up yet!” said Nemona with Pawmot using Double Shock once again. Harry told Quaquaval to stop its tracks using Aqua Jet. With Teratallization increasing Aqua Jet’s power, it did a huge amount of damage to Pawmot, knocking it out. “Alright! We’re the best!” cheered Harry, high-fiving Tom. “You both did amazing here!” said Nemona who was thrilled to battle them regardless of the outcome.

Arven sends out his Toadscruel and Garganacal to fight Charlie’s Baxcalibur and Matt’s Kingambit. “Feast your eyes on this!” said Arven who Teratallizated his Toadscruel into a Water type. “Let’s give it a try ourselves!” said Matt as he and Charlie Terallizated their Pokémon into the Dark and Ice-type respectively. Charlie commanded his Baxcalibur to fire its Icicle Spear at Toadscruel but because it changed typing, it resisted Icicle Spear whereas it would otherwise be weak against it. But Charlie noticed something else. “Hey, isn’t it supposed to work with Teratllization?” he asked. “Moves that hit more than once are not affected by Teratllization apparently. Don’t know how it works but hey, you’ll get a taste of our power Pal!” said Arven who commanded his Toadscruel to use Spore on Baxcalibur, sending it to sleep.

“No! Wake up!” cried Charlie. “I’ll take it from here!” said Matt. “Not so fast here!” said Arven as his Garganacal used Salt Cure on Kingambit. “Bet this will make you feel salty!” bragged Arven with Matt’s samurai metal king chest piece taking some damage from the Salt Cure. “Well when the going gets tough, I keep on preserving!” replied Matt boldly with his Kingambit using Swords Dance and then striking hard at the rocky formation Pokémon with Kowtow Clave.

“Woah! Can’t let you get away with that!” said Arven with his Toadscruel using Earth Power towards the two Pokémon. The shock wave on the earth has woken up Baxcalibur. “Alright! Now we’re back in action!” said Charlie with Baxcalibur firing its Scale Shot. “Quick Toadscruel, don’t let up!” called Arven who was about to fire its Earth Power but Kingambit strike first using Sucker Punch. “I got your back!” called Matt. “I owe you one!” said Charlie with his icy dragon charging into the mushroom Pokémon using Glaive Rush. “Guess I underestimated you both!” said Arven upon defeat.

“My Veevees shall shine!” said Penny sending out her Sylveon, Espeon and Glaceon. “We better shine too. Let’s go!” said Danny as he, Dougie and James Terastallize their Ceruledge, Armarogue and Meowscarda with the first two becoming Fire types and Meowscarda becoming a Grass type. “It’s time to Terastallize! Be who really want to be and shine like the twinking stars!” said Penny who Terastallize her Sylveon, enchanting its Fairy type. Her Sylveon fired its Hyper Voice (which became a Fairy-type move via Pixiliate ability). The sound wave powered up by Terastallization has stunned the trio’s Pokémon. “My ears!” cried Dougie melodramatically. “See? I may not look like but we Veevees shine as a team!” said Penny. “Well we better show our teamwork!” said James who commanded his masked Cat to toss its Flower Trick at Sylveon. The explosive flower has hit Sylveon, forcing it to stop using Hyper Voice.

“Thanks there, now it’s our turn!” said Danny with the sword-wielding fire-type Pokémon charging in. Penny commanded Glaceon to repel it using Blizzard but Danny told his Ceruledge to fight against the attack by swinging its swords using Bitter Blade. Espeon then used Psychic to stop its tracks, only for Armarogue to fire its Armor Cannon towards Glaceon as told by Dougie.

But Penny wasn’t going down just yet. “I bet you all are not ready for this” said Penny with Espeon and Glaceon using Helping Hand on Sylveon. It was getting ready to fire its Hyper Voice that got powered up. “Let’s give each other our own helping hand!” said Danny. “Showing what we can do as a supergroup!” said James as Meowscarda and Armarogue both fired their Flower Trick and Armor Cannon towards Sylveon’s Hyper Voice. The impact of the moves combined created a huge explosion. Cerluedge used this as an opportunity to strike a devastating blow at the three Eeveelutions using Bitter Blade. “Just as I planned” said Dougie. “Woah, you three are pretty strong” said Penny with her Eeveelutions knocked out.

Geeta clapped her hands. “You all did well, not only using Terastallization but also your teamwork combined to turn the tide of the battle. You three did well too” said Geeta proudly. “Of course, we all come out on top as a super group !” said Harry proudly. “It was a great lesson Ms Geeta” said Matt thanking her.

Afterwards, Geeta allowed them to interact with the students and explore the rest of the academy while she made her leave for some work to do. Nemona and her friends used this chance to get to know the McBusted boys more. “I am really happy to battle you all” said Nemona. “You have shown a lot of energy there” said Tom. “Yeah, I strive to make friends and battle with every Pokémon trainer which always thrills me each time, especially since I don’t get to spend as much time with my parents who are always busy away from home. And being the top champion makes others feel alienated from me at times” said Nemona with a small smile as if she sounded somewhat sad. "We're happy to be your friend. Everyone is my friend after all" said James, referring to one of his Safe Journey Home songs which made Nemona smile turn brighter. 

 “I am really shy and only have a few friends including those two and my Star Brigade. Like I said, I am a fan of your music though I get bullied a lot for it, especially with me enjoying your supergroup” said Penny sadly. “Sorry to hear. Don’t let anyone get you down with what you like. Your support always gets us going” said Danny encouraging her. Their support has made Nemona and Penny smile. Penny explained that her Star Brigade helps to defend students from being bullied and to look after other people’s Pokémon when they get hurt.                 

Nemona and Penny opening up to the McBusted boys has encouraged Arven to do the same. “I...suppose you all are not half bad. I don’t have a lot of friends too though I guess my mannerisms come from raising myself with my Mother and Father are barely around, busy with their research” said Arven bitterly. The McBusted boys were sorry to hear that. “Some of us have some family issues of my own so you’re not alone” said Matt. “Thanks...there’s something that I want to show you all” said Arven as he led them to the corridor towards his room.

 Chapter 3: Scars and Secrets  

 Arven’s room was guarded by two members of Penny’s Star Brigade; Eri and Ortega. “It’s not like you to bring a large group here Arven” said Eri. “It’s ok Eri, they are the boys from McFly and Busted” said Penny. “Eri, you idiot! How you could not recognise them? You know that Penny is a huge fan of them!” exclaimed Ortega. Eri was flushed with embarrassment. “I’m so sorry! I was so caught up in my duties that I didn’t notice any of you!” cried Eri, crouching down on the floor, much to the McBusted boy's awkwardness.  “Er, it happened so no big deal” said Charlie. “I’m sure you’re doing a good job being the security” said Tom complimenting her. Eri got up and said “Really? Thanks. You all have my permission to enter” said Eri, allowing Arven to open his room.

 Inside Arven’s room was his Pokémon Mabosstiff which resembled a huge black dog who was lying on the ground limping. It was with the other members of The Star Brigade Glacomo, Mela and Atticus who were trying to heal it. “This is my partner Pokémon Mabosstiff” said Arven. He explained that his Mabosstiff had got heavily injured while they were in Area Zero, trying to find his parents. The Pokémon that injured them resembled a rampaging and metallic machine.

 “We’ve been trying to help Arven to heal his Mabosstiff but to no avail. Not even a Pokémon centre or any existing potions can help” said Mela as she was giving it a massage. “It’s like an incurable poison that is slowly eating its life away” said Atticus grimy. The McBusted boys felt sorry for it. “The poor thing. I’m sorry to hear that” said Danny sadly. “I wish we had a way to help” said Matt sympathetically.

 Arven got out two books that had the colours scarlet and violet. “According to these books, it’s said that the Herba Mystica is known to heal any Pokémon. It’s something that I’ve been searching for a while yet we don’t know where we could find them” said Arven. Dougie remembered something. “Come to think of it, we did find some fancy-looking herbs yesterday” said Dougie. This has surprised Arven. “Really? Show me them!” he demanded. The McBusted boys handed Arven the herbs. “...That’s it! They’re the Herba Mystica!” exclaimed Arven. “Here, feel free. Anything to help out your friend” said James and they kindly gave Arven the Herba Mystica.

 Mabosstiff has made a full recovery after eating the Herba Mystica, much to everyone’s delight, especially Arven. “Mabosstiff! I’m so glad that you’re back to full health!” cheered Arven as he embraced his Mabosstiff who happily jumped on its owner. The McBusted boys were happy to witness this. Arven then said to the McBusted boys “I owe you all a lot. But still, I must ask where did you find them and how?”  “We happened to find two Pokémon that you can ride on. They’re the ones who took us to a mountain where we have found some Herba Mystica” explained Harry. Arven seemed surprised. “What? Please show me the two Pokémon!” said Arven.

 The McBusted boys have sent out Koraidon and Miraidon, much to the surprise of Arven and the others. “What are they?!” cried Mela. “Wow! They look fascinating!” said Nemona with fascination. “Those are...the Pokémon that my parents have been bringing back from their own time with their time machine!” said Arven with some contempt. “So you know them?” asked Danny. “Surly they can’t be the Pokémon who attacked your Mabosstiff. They seem so friendly” said Tom as they witnessed Koraidon and Miraidon acting friendly towards Mabosstiff and being curious about Arven’s other friends including Nemona who admired them and Penny despite her shyness.

 Arven explained that Koraidon came from the past and Miraidon came from the future. His family looked after them at their home for a while until the two Pokémon attracted unwanted attention so his parents brought them back to Zero Lab where they spent most of their time, causing Arven to resent Koraidon and Miraidon for taking away his parents. One day, Arven and his Mabosstiff went to Area Zero to look for his parents, only for Mabosstiff to become attacked by a more hostile Koraidon and Miraidon which is what caused those injuries.

 The McBusted boys again felt sorry for Arven and Mabosstiff. “That must have been traumatising for poor Mabosstiff” said Charlie. Penny then added “I can tell that those Koraidon and Miradion feel homesick; wanting to go back home but are too scared to get back to where they were brought from.” She is good at reading Pokémon’s feelings. “I wonder if we can help them?” asked Matt.

 Just then, their phones were ringing, much to their surprise. The McBusted boys answered them. It was a message from Arven’s parents Professor Sada and Professor Turo. The message said “Greetings, do not be alarmed but we are aware that you have the Koraidon and Miraidon that we are familiar with. If you want to help them to bring them back to their homes, then please come to the deepest part of Area Zero”.

 “Never thought we would have a one-way ticket to Area Zero” said James as the McBusted boys were astonished. “Area Zero? Are they insane?! That place is off limits!” said Ortega. “It’s full of dangerous Pokémon which is what has caused this Mabosstiff’s injuries. Are you sure you want to take that risk?” asked Atticus cautiously. “I think we should take that offer. It’ll be the only way to help Koraidon and Miraidon” said Tom bravely. “You can count me in! My Pokémon and I will give you all a helping hand!” said Nemona. “I want to help you all too. It’s the least I can do for battling you all” said Penny.

 “What about you Arven? You said that your parents are still in there?” asked Harry. “Maybe this could be your chance to find them, for you to let them know how much you missed them” added Danny. “I suppose so, giving them a piece of my mind for leaving me and Mabosstiff alone” said Arven. The Star Brigade have chosen to remain behind with Eri telling Penny to be careful. 

 They were making their preparations with Glacomo giving them a capsule. “Here, I figured you all would need this for your Tera Balls. I call it the Tera Charger. It helps to charge up your Tera Balls at any time in case you all use Terastallization without using Pokémon Centres as you’ll otherwise only be able to use Terastallization once per battle though it’s only a prototype” said Glacomo. “Thanks, this will come in handy” said Dougie. “Oh, did I mention that I regularly jam to your music?” added Glacomo. “Well, we’re flattered with that” said Danny smiling. The Star Brigade also offered the McBusted boys to change their Pokémon’s Tera Types using the Tera Shards.

 Chapter 4: Honey we’re home

The McBusted boys, Nemona, Arven, and Penny all went to Area Zero which is located in the Great Crater of Paldea, the place that was shrouded by mystery. Koraidon and Miraidon were still nervous upon arrival.  The McBusted boys offered to return to their Pokeballs. “Don’t worry about it” said Danny reassuring Koraidon. “Yeah, don’t force yourself until you’re ready” said James gently. They have encountered many strange Pokémon with some looks like dinosaur or robotic versions of Pokémon that they have met or caught before.

 “What’s with those getups?” asked Matt with bewilderment. “Guess that's what some Pokémon look like in the Year 300 yet it’s so bizarre” said James. “And looks like they’ve been fused with a dinosaur. I would say they rock like for my book but I say they look uncanny” said Dougie. The Paradox Pokémon were hostile and started to attack so they had no choice but to fight them while they made their way down to the lab where Professor Sada and Professor Tubo are said to be found.

 Danny and Dougie were helping Nemona fight some Slither Wings and Iron Moths, the ancient and futuristic versions of Volcaronas. Danny’s Ceruledge blocked Slither Wings from using First Impression with its blades and Dougie’s Armarogue fired its Armor Cannon towards Iron Moth’s Sludge Bomb, protecting Nemona’s Pawmot which gave it its cue to strike the Paradox Pokémon with its Double Shock. “You both have great teamwork!” said Nemona cheering them. “It’s just like what we do as a band!” said Danny as they held each other’s shoulders. “Also one time when we were on The Cube but it was Danny who did most of the work” said Dougie.

 Slither Wings and Iron Moth were far from out yet with Slither Wings knocking their Pokémon using Stomping Tantrum, hitting them hard for super effective damage (which powered up having to fail using First Impression beforehand) which gives Iron Moth a chance to charge up its Meteor Beam. “Quick Danny, we better change their typing!” called Dougie. “I’m with you Doug!” said Danny and they Terastallize their Ceruledge and Armarogue into a Fairy type, taking less damage from Meteor Beam for them to fight back with Ceruledge picking up a nearby stone and hit Slither Wings using Poltergeist with Danny coming up with that idea himself and Armarogue using Psyshock to hit Iron Moth for super effective damage.

  “Wow! You all have the potential to compete with me!” said Nemona praising them with her Pawmot finishing them off using Close Combat. “We wouldn’t have made it here without all of your training” said Danny modestly. “Yeah, we’re merely the students and you’re our teacher” said Dougie. This made Nemona blush.

 Tom and Harry were helping Arven to face multiple Flutter Manes and Scream Tails, the ancient versions of Misdrevus and Jigglypuff. Tom and Harry Terastallize their Skeldirge and Quaquaval into the Fairy and Steel type to lessen the weakness against their Ghost and Fairy type moves. Skeldirge was able to hit Flutter Mane hard with Torch Song while ignoring its Special Attack and Special Defense Boost from Calm Mind with its Unaware ability. Harry’s Quaquaval managed to take out a Scream Tail using Aqua Step, gaining an Attack boost with its Moxie ability.

 “Nothing can stop us now!” said Harry with overconfidence. “Don’t celebrate too soon now” warned Tom with more Flutter Manes and Scream Tails coming their way, firing multiple Shadow Balls and Expanding Force which were too much for Skeldirge and Quaquaval to handle. “You leave it to my buddy and I!” said Arven who Terastallize his Mabosstiff, enchanting its Dark type and took out the moves with its boosted Church.

  “Thanks for the help!” called Tom which gives their Pokémon a chance to finish them off. “Your Mabosstiff is really loyal to you” said Harry as he noticed his Mabostiff being protective to Arven throughout. “Yeah, it’s been my only friend back then” said Arven.

 The Busted trio helped Penny to face the futuristic versions of Tyranitar and Hydreigon; Iron Thorns and Iron Jugulis. James’ Meowscarda used its agile speed to dodge Iron Thorn’s Stone Edge and hit it hard using Flower Trick and Knock Off (with Protein changing it into a pure Grass type upon using Flower Trick). “This is one cat you won’t be chasing away!” said James, referring to one of his Sugar Beach songs.

 His Meowscarda did get hit by Iron Thorn’s Stone Edge but Matt’s Kingambit helped to back it up using Kowtow Cleave. Iron Thorns strike its Earthquake towards Kingambit. “Not on my watch!” said Matt who Terastallize his Kingambit into the Flying type, granting it an immunity to Earthquake. “And now it’s check mate!” said Matt with Kingambit charging into Iron Thorns using Iron Head.

 Just then, Iron Jugulis fired its Hurricane at Kingambit. Charlie helped them out and commanded his Baxcalibur to fire its Icicle Spear towards Iron Jugulis. He then Terastallize his Baxcalibur, powering up its Dragon type and charging its Glaive Rush towards Iron Jugulis. Iron Jugulis fired its Dark Pulse to stop its tracks but James who Teratallize his Meowscarda into the Grass type intercepted the attack using Flower Trick, allowing Charlie’s Baxcalibur to land its move successfully. “We always have each other’s back” said Charlie smiling.

 Another Iron Thorns and Iron Jugulis showed up but Penny helped them with her Sylveon powering them up using Helping Hand and firing its Hyper Voice at their attacks which dealt greater damage upon Teratallizing. “Thanks for the help Penny!” said Charlie. “I may get nervous battling but I do my best for you all!” said Penny.

 As they made their way further down in Area Zero, they found more Paradox Pokémon that got in the way including Great Tusk and Iron Treads, the ancient and futuristic versions of Donphan. Gallade and Gardevoir helped to take care of them with Gallade striking the Iron Threads using Close Combat and Gardevoir firing her Moonblast at Great Tusk.

 They have found one of the research labs that’ll lead them to Zero Lab. They have found a family portrait that shows Arven when he was a boy with the pre-evolved form of Mabosstiff Maschiff and his parents. “Arven, is that....” said Nemona. “It seems like they do care about you even if they couldn’t be with you” said Danny. “Yes, but...” said Arven with awe.

 Just then, they received a message from Professor Sada and Professor Tubo. “Hello everyone. I...I....I....I.... S-s-s-s-s-sorry. I-I-I I-I-I’m sssssssssorrrrrrrrrrrr-rrrrrry-eeeeee” said their voices which for some reason sounded distorted. “What the heck is going on?” said Dougie. “This doesn’t seem right at all” said Penny wary.  They then heard their voices that said “Initiating restart...Ah, hello. Please forgive our earlier transmission. It’s probably due to a signal interference. But please continue to make your way to Area Zero. We believe that you have the Scarlet and Violet book. Please hand them over upon meeting us” “Now hold on Mother and Father, why don’t you both explain what you both have been doing all this time, leaving me all alone?!” demanded Arvan. “Arvan...I...” said Sada’s voice. “Son, I think it’ll be better if we meet face to face which makes it easier to explain the situation once you see it with your own eyes” said Tubo. Afterwards, Arvan had some suspicions and said “Something tells me that they’re....not the real Mom and Dad”. The McBusted boys were concerned for him. “I have to agree that there’s...something off about this” said Charlie. “For now, let’s make our way forward for us to find out ourselves” said Harry rationally.

 They were getting near Zero Lab when they were confronted by Gorging Fire, the ancient counterpart of Entei and Iron Boulder, the futuristic version of Terrakion. “Shoot! They’re in the way!” cried Matt. “That’s one monstrous lion! And did that robot turn its head?” said Dougie. “Leave it to us! We’ll take care of them!” said Nemona. “We’ll buy some time for you all to go ahead!” said Penny. “Yeah and I’ll deal with my parents once I catch up!” said Arven who also handed them the Scarlet and Violet book. “Thanks, be careful there!” said Tom and they made their way into the lab.

 Here’s where they have found Professor Turo and Professor Sada...or so they appear to be. “Welcome to Zero Lab. We’re glad that you’re all able to make it here” said Professor Turo. “However, we must confess that the Professors you’re speaking to now are actually AI counterparts, originally created to serve our real counterparts” said Professor Sada. The McBusted couldn’t believe what they were hearing. “Huh? You mean that both of you...are robots?!” cried James. “Hold on! What happened to the real Professors? They have a son who misses them!” questioned Danny.

 The AI versions of Professor Turo and Professor Sada explained that their real counterparts were the ones who created a time machine, hoping to gather Pokémon from the past and future to co-exist with modern-day Pokémon which is part of their research that they were obsessed with, causing them to be neglectful of Arven although they planned to show him the paradise they created with those Pokémon. Koraidon and Miraidon were among the ones that they had brought from their timeline but there was another Koraidon and Miraidon who were far more aggressive, fatally wounded the original Professor Turo and Professor Sada while protecting the first Koraidon and Miraidon, leaving their AIs to take their place. The first Koraidon and Miraidon were so traumatized that they fled from Area Zero which is how they meet up with the McBusted boys.

 The AIs did not agree with their real-world counterpart’s dream of allowing the Paradox Pokémon to live in Paldea, fearing that they would wreak havoc on the eco-system which is why they reached out to the McBusted boys to help them to stop the time machine using the Scarlet and Violet books.

 The McBusted boys felt sad hearing all of this. They would imagine how would Arven feel about finding out that his parents were dead all along.  “Poor Arven...” said Tom sadly. “I bet it’s going to be difficult for him to know this. Still, what do we do with these books to stop the time machine?” asked James. “Place them on the pedestal here to turn off their power. We will also allow Koraidon and Miraidon to return to their homes ” instructed AI Turo. “There is a catch however. As intelligent as we maybe, we are programmed to protect the time machine at any cost” said AI Sada. “So our desires will be overridden by that programming as we are forced to battle you. But seeing that you all made it this far, we believe that you all will have what it takes to stop us” said AI Turo. “I guess we have to” said Harry as this made the McBusted boys feel uneasy but they nevertheless did what they requested. “Right, we won’t be holding anything back now” said Matt, getting mentally prepared for what is to come.

  “Thanks, it’s up to all of you. Please defeat us” said AI Sada as soon as they placed the books onto the time machine. They became more robotic as they were taken over by the programming. “At last, our dream is within our reach. And all of you are not getting the way!” said AI Sada and AI Turo, sending out Roaring Moon and Iron Valiant, the paradox Pokémon that resembled Mega Salamence and a fusion of Mega Gallade and Mega Gardevoir respectively.

 The McFly boys choose to focus on AI Sada’s Roaring Moon, Terastallizing Gallade (with their Tera Ball fully charged by the Tera Charger as given by Glacomo) to boost his Psychic typing. Although his Psychic-type moves would have no effect on Roaring Moon’s Dark typing, it was still useful to power up his Psyblade to stop Roaring Moon’s tracks when it used Iron Head, giving their other Pokémon a chance to attack.

 Roaring Moon was still a tough opponent who violently charged in using Outrage, intercepting Ceruledge and Quaquaval’s Close Combat and Aqua Step and dodging Skeldirge and Armarouge’s Will-o-Wisp (Tom had planned to burn it and deal more damage using Hex) and Aura Sphere with its lighting speed and knocking them down using Knock Off. But Gallade helped out the McFly’s boys by forewarning Roaring Moon’s movements (with Terra Psychic boosting his Psychic abilities).

  This helped the McFly boys to predict where Roaring Moon would attack next. “Ceruledge, lure Roaring Moon towards the corner!” said Danny. “That’ll be your chance to weaken Skeldirge using Will-o-Wisp from behind!” called Tom. With Ceruledge baiting Roaring Moon towards its direction, this gives Skeldirge a chance to burn it using Will-o-Wisp. “It’s going to move towards the left Quaquaval! Ambush it using Close Combat!” called Harry. “You too Armarouge using Aura Sphere!” said Dougie. Both of their Pokémon were able to follow their plan.

 Gallade then got hit by Roaring Moon’s Earthquake which distracted his movements and gave Roaring Moon its cue to charge in using Knock Off but the McFly boys’ other Pokémon helped to back him up by blocking its move, giving Gallade a chance to finish off Roaring Moon using Close Combat.

 The Busted boys choose to fight AI Turo’s Iron Valiant, Terastallizing Gardevoir to power up her Psychic typing and giving her a type advantage against Iron Valiant. Still, Iron Valiant was a ruthless opponent who hit fast and hard with a variety of long-range and short-range moves including Close Combat and Moonblast which makes it hard to predict its moves.

 But Gardevoir gave them a helping hand by predicting Iron Valiant’s movements to forewarn the Busted boys for them to counter its moves (such as Iron Valiant holding its arms up in the air when it was about to use Moonblast). “It’s about to use Moonblast! Intercept it using Flower Trick!” called James. Quickly, his Meowscarda used its Flower Trick to counter Iron Valiant’s Moonblast, dealing some damage to Iron Valiant in the process. “Quick Kingambit, Sucker Punch it before it uses Close Combat!” called Matt. Kingambit quickly strike Iron Valiant just before it was about to use its Close Combat. “Baxcalibur, use Scale Shot to counter its Thunderbolt!” said Charlie. His Baxcalibur quickly fired its Scale Shot towards the lighting attack for the other Pokémon to attack it.

 Gardevoir and Iron Valiant fired their Moonblast towards each other. Iron Valiant’s Moonblast happened to be a bit stronger which caused Gardevoir to be knocked back by the blast, making her open for Iron Valiant to strike her using Knock Off but the Busted’s boys charged into Iron Valiant to intercept it. This gives Gardevoir a chance to fire her Lumina Crash on Iron Valiant, knocking it out.

 “Thank you” said AI Sada. “This should stop the time machine” said AI Tubo. Just as the McBusted boys have seemingly defeated AI Sada and AI Tubo, Arven, Nemona and Penny have arrived having to take care of the Paradox Pokémon. “Are you guys alright?” asked Penny. “We did what we have to do” replied James. “Arven...they’re...” said Danny who wasn’t sure whenever they should tell him or how he would handle the news. “...Mother!...Father!..You both aren’t my parents are you?” said Arven. “Huh? Arven?” said Nemona.

 The McBusted boys were caught off guard with Arven seemingly figured it out yet the AIs were talking just like his actual parents. “Oh Arven, look how much you have grown” said AI Sada. “We’re sorry to leave you all alone son” said AI Tubo. Arven looked at them for a moment and was about to say something until suddenly, the Paradise Protection Protocol was activated which prevented the AIs from shutting down the time machine and locking everyone’s Pokeballs that weren’t registered by Sada and Tubo. “Now what’s going on?!” yelled Dougie. “Looks like it’s going haywire!” cried Matt.

 “What’s this?...It cannot be!” cried AI Sada. “Sorry, you all must run!” yelled AI Tubo as the Paradise Protection Protocol program took over them. “We must eliminate those who get in the way of our dreams!” said the AIs, sending out their Koraidon and Miraidon, the ones who attacked their nicer counterparts and Mabosstiff.

 Having to be worn down from their earlier battle, the McBusted’s boys Pokémon were struggling to stand against Koraidon and Miraidon. Not even Gallade and Gardevoir were able to help out with their Psychic abilities with those two becoming fatigued. “You all better hold back for now” said Tom. “Blast! We can’t lose here! What are we doing to do now?!” cried Harry frustratingly since they couldn’t use their other Pokémon with their Pokeballs being locked. Nemona had an idea. “I think it’ll be the best chance to send out your Koraidon and Miradion!” she suggested. “I suppose it’s our only option at this point” said Charlie as they sent out those two Pokémon.

 Koraidon and Miradion were nervous upon seeing their aggressive counterparts once again, allowing themselves to get attacked by them but the McBusted boys have an idea. “Come on Koraidon! You can do it!” cheered Danny who got his guitar out as if he was playing a song to motivate them. The other McBusted boys did the same. “Show them who’s boss Miradion!” said James jamming his guitar. “You both got this!” said Penny joining the support. Even Arven helped out saying “I know both of you can show that both of you are the superior ones with the heart!”

 Their moral support has helped Koraidon and Miradion to gain confidence, not only activating their Apex Build and Ultimate Mode that enables them to fight at their full strength but also for them to Terastallize into the Dragon type. Everyone was amazed to see Koraidon and Miradion standing up to their aggressive counterparts with Koraidon intercepting the opposing Koraidon’s Giga Impact using its Collision Course and Miradion firing its Electro Drift towards the opposing Miradion’s Hyper Beam.

 “Awesome! This shows that our Dragons are superior!” said Dougie witnessing this. “Looks like they have it in them all along!” said Nemona as Koraidon fired its Scale Shot towards AI Sada’s Koraidon using Outrage to stop its tracks and Miradion fired Draco Meteor to intercept AI Tubo’s Miradion unleashing its Overheat. With the hostile Koradion and Miradion being dazed from the attacks, Koradion and Miradion charged towards them using Collusion Course and Electro Drift, fully defeating them.

 “Well done. You all have shown great courage even when faced with challengers” said AI Sada having to be free from the Paradise Protection Protocol. “No matter how difficult your past has been or how uncertain the future may seem, you are all capable of choosing your own paths” said AI Tubo. However, it turned out that the time machine cannot be fully shut down as long as the AIs are present so they decided to fulfil their master’s dreams of entering the past and future respectively. Before leaving, the AIs turned to Arven with AI Sada said “Arven, I want to let you know that even with their time spent with their research, your Mother and Father truly loved you.” “They give anything to spend more time with you. I know they would be proud of how much you have grown. Please forgive us for hinding this for so long” said AI Tubo. “Mom...Dad...” said Arven with emotion. Nemona patted his shoulder for sympathy.

 It was also decided for Koradion and Miradion to follow the AIs, giving them a chance to finally return to their homes although they were sad to say goodbye to their friends. The McBusted boys were feeling the same as they gave them a hug. “Thank you for everything” said Tom. “I hope your timelines will be welcoming” said Charlie. The McBusted boys then watched Koradion and Miradion entering the time machine as they followed AI Sada and AI Tubo, returning into their worlds with a bittersweet smile.

 Afterwards, everyone made their leave. “So Arven, how are you feeling?” asked Harry with concern. “...I guess that deep down, I always knew yet even if they’re AIs, it felt so real just the same” answered Arven sombrely. “I know how you feel. It’s never easy having to say goodbye” said Matt with the McBusted boys still feeling emotional about having to leave Koradion and Miradion. “Me too having to be lonely for a while” said Penny giving him her support. “So do I but hey, let’s all take a nice long stroll together. That way, we won’t ever be lonely” said Nemona. Everyone agreed to that. The McBusted boys also offered their friends free tickets to see their show the following day.

 The McBusted boys gave it their way with their final show in Paldea at Mesagoza with Nemona, Arven, Penny, Geeta and The Star Brigade as part of the audience. The boys also came up with a new song; Paldea’s Treasure that describes Terastallization (including a riff that mirrors the way the crystals spark during Terastallization) and the importance of living in the present, dedicating this to the Koradion and Miradion that they befriended with, knowing that no matter where they are, they are always thinking of them. They also Terastallized their Pokémon on stage, making it a big hit for their audience.

 As they depart from Paldea with their friends giving their thanks and bidding them their farewell, the McBusted boys vow to use the time they have to keep each other close whenever they’re coming up with new music or just spending time as close friends. “I may have said this before but I guess this is truly our treasure” said Danny. “The treasure that is irreplaceable” said James who once again concurred with him as they all held each other tightly, vowing to never let each other go.

McBusted's Pokémon Adventures Part 10 - Mega Legends in Hisui

 Here is part ten of my fan fiction for two of my favourite boy bands McFly and Busted in their super group McBusted where they continued their tour in the world of Pokémon, only this time, they were sent to the Hisui region from Pokémon Legends Arceus. The McBusted boys have been told by Volo that collecting the plates will send them home. Volo however has a hidden agenda. Enjoy and stay tuned for more.

Chapter 1: Into an ancient land

 McFly and Busted, joined together as a supergroup, McBusted, have been touring throughout the Pokémon regions, but today, they were taking a day off for rehearsals and just taking it easy. They were with their shiny Gallade and shiny Gardevoir.

 The McBusted boys were using this day off to attach their Mega Stones Galladite and Gardevorite (given to them by their fan Dominic back in the Kalos region) onto a bracelet, giving them to the respective Pokémon. They then worked on attaching the Key Stone to a guitar. “We should consider using Mega Evolution soon, starting with these two” suggested Danny. “Yeah and face off each other using their Mega Evolution” said James with a glint in his eye. “I can’t wait to see their Mega Evolution in action just like we have before” said Dougie with interest. Gallade and Gardevoir were eager with the idea.

 Suddenly, something unexpected happened as the McBusted boys, Gallade and Gardevoir were engulfed in a bright, swirling light which led them to a mysterious wormhole before any of them could react (taking their instruments with them). This has taken them to an unfamiliar vast, ancient land. 

 “Hey where are we?” said Danny with puzzlement. “It looks like we’re been sent back in time somehow” concluded Matt looking around. “We didn’t even drive a DeLorean” said Dougie jokingly. “But we can’t stay here! We’ll be touring in Paldea in the next few days!” said Tom anxiously. “But how do we get back?” asked Harry. 

 It was that moment when a man approached them. He had a charismatic smile and a certain mysterious air about him. “Greeting travellers. I am Volo, a humble merchant. Are you all lost? I can tell that you all are not from around here” said Volo who seemed surprised yet calm. Gallade and Gardevoir somehow couldn’t help but be defensive, guarding the McBusted boys. But Charlie moved forward and said “Why yes, we are McFly and Busted as our supergroup McBusted. We were practicing for our tour and we somehow ended up here.” “Can you please tell us what is this place and if you know a way we can get back home?” asked James.

 Volo’s smile widened and said “Certainly, this world is known as Hisui; the land that is full of ancient legends. It seems that all of you were brought here by a force far greater than any of us. But fear not, I know a way that’ll help you to get back to your home.” “Really? That’ll be great” said Harry. “The key to open the portal to return to your home are ancient artefacts known as the Plates of Arceus, the creator of all Pokémon. I believe that gathering all 17 will open that portal.”

 “That sounds great but where do we find them?” asked Tom. “You’ll find all but one according to this map. Come and meet me at Temple of Sinnoh when you have found 16 of them” said Volo, leading them to the gates that’ll lead them to their first destination in Hisui; Obsidian Field lands.

 “Well what are we waiting for? Let’s do this!” said Danny who is excited to have this opportunity for an adventure. As they made their way, Volo looked at them who was hiding something from them. Along the way, Charlie just realised something and said “Wait, did he say the Temple of Sinnoh? Sinnoh the name of the region that we been too!” “Maybe we’re in the land before the modern-day Sinnoh” suggested Dougie. “Guess this could be a chance to see what Sinnoh was like in the old days” said Matt who was intrigued by this conclusion.

 Chapter 2: Frenzied Maythem

 As soon as they arrived in Obsidian Field lands, they found Pokémon who had red eyes and were acting in a berserk state, terrorizing everywhere. Some of which were bigger than their normal size. “Woah! What on earth is going on here?!” cried Harry upon seeing the horrific sight. “I didn’t expect Hisui to be this dangerous” said Charlie wearily.

 There were two clan leaders; Adaman, the leader of the Diamond Clan and Irida, the leader of the Pearl Clan who were using their Pokémon including Leafeon and Glaceon to calm them down but to no avail. Both Adaman and Irida have spotted the McBusted boys. “Stay back! This place is off limits!” warned Adaman. “Could you tell us what’s going on?” asked Tom. “Those Pokémon are acting aggressively out of the blue. We’ve been trying to calm them down but nothing seems to work” answered Irida.

 “Please let us help. We can’t bear to see these Pokémon acting out like this” pleaded Danny. “We may not look it or are not from this world but we do have some expertise in our hands” said James. Adaman can tell that they have determination and spirit. “Well then, we could use some extra helping hand” said Adaman smiling with encouragement. “If you all insist, then please help us to defend those Pokémon that have just been attacked!” said Irida, pointing to some non-frenzied Pokémon that were attacked by a Mismagius and Honchkrow in their larger size which makes them Alpha Pokémon.

 The McBusted boys bravely charged in and Gallade quickly struck Mismagius using his Knock Off and Gardevoir fired her Moonblast at Honchrow, taking them down for super effective damage. The Pokémon that were attacked were grateful for their rescue, rushing over towards the McBusted boys. They include Roserade, Gastrodon in its West Sea Form, Hisusian Decidueye, Ursaluna, Hisusian Typhlosion, Hisusian Goodra and Hisusian Samurott. “I can tell that you all want to help us in return” said Dougie. “Alright, you can count on us!” said Matt. The rescued Pokémon were willing to be their partners.

 Danny teamed up with Roserade to take down a frenzied Gliscor. “Roserade! Fire your Sludge Bomb!” called Danny and the masquerade rose fired its Sludge Bomb at the flying scorpion. This caused Gliscor to become poisoned but it turned out that Gliscor have the ability Poison Heal which heals the damage instead of taking the poison damage. Quickly, Danny makes up for it by commanding Roserade to fire its Leaf Storm to deal massive damage to Gliscor just when it dives towards Roserade using X-Scissor. “As they say, every rose has its thorns” said Danny holding a rose.

 Tom and Gastrodon were up against Lumineon. The butterfly fish took advantage of its graceful movements to outpeed the sea slug and fire its Dazzling Gleam at Gastrodon which was powered up by its Storm Drain ability with Gastrodon firing its Scald earlier. It then fired its own Scald at Gastrodon but it also had Strom Drain, taking no damage from Water-type moves and raising its Special Attack. “How do you like them apples?!” said Tom with Gastrodon unleashing its Earth Power on Lumineon.

 “Say, I recall Danny having a Decidueye. Let’s see how this one matches up with his” said James who teamed up with Hisusian Decidueye to take down a Luxray. The electrical lion charges in with its powerful electrical moves including Supercell Slam which makes it harder for Hisusian Decidueye to fight at close range. However, Luxray was about to use Supercell Slam again when James told Hisuisan Decidueye to dodge at the last second, causing Luxray to miss and hit itself. “Look before you leap as they say” said James causally with Hisuisan Decidueye using this chance to fire its Triple Arrows at Luxray.

 Charlie partnered with Ursaluna who were fighting against an Overqwil. The devious pufferfish with large spikes dodged the land bear’s Headlong Rush and jabbed it using Barb Barrage, causing Ursaluna to become poisoned. However, this turned into strength with Ursaluna’s ability Guts powered it up to gain an Attack boost, dealing extra damage using Facade. “May fugu be banned!” said Charlie as Ursaluna successfully charged in using Headlong Rush.

 “You need a time out!” said Dougie with Yanmega firing its Bug Buzz that shattered the trees. The Hisusian Goodra that Dougie allied with fired its Flash Cannon at the ancient dragonfly Pokémon to stop it from destroying the trees. Yanmega spotted Hisusian Goodra and fired its Energy Ball at it but Hisusian Goodra took no damage with its Sap Sapper ability. “Just like Charlie’s Goodra but without the shell” said Dougie and Hisuisan Goodra finished it off with its Flamethrower.

 “Now this will be an opportunity to try out Tom’s Pokémon that he had in Johto; only more stoner” said Matt who took control of Hisusian Typhlosion, fighting against Steelix. The giant iron snake unleashed its Earthquake which destroyed nearby rocks that shattered into shards. “Quick! Defend yourself with your flames!” said Matt with Hisuisan Typhlosion releasing ghostly flames towards the stones which also hit Steelix, causing a burn. “Now we hex you” said Matt as Hisuian Typhlosion used Hex on Steelix, dealing twice as much damage with it being burned.

 “Bet I can make this Samurott stronger than the one Charlie has” said Harry who fights Whiscash with his Hisusian Samurott. The catfish Pokémon charged into Hisusian Samurott using Liquidation but Harry ordered Hisusian Samurott to stop its tracks with its shell blade using Ceaseless Edge. This has also released Spikes which hurts Whiscash, weakening it further for Hisusian Samurott to finish it off using Sucker Punch before it could strike.

 A few more frenzied Pokémon were left remaining including Wyrdeer who charged in using Psyshield Bash and Vespiquen who summoned its underlings to attack using Attack Order but Gallade stopped Wyrdeer’s tracks by holding it with its blades and Gardevoir repelling the underlings using Hyper Voice (it has also copoed Wyrdeer's ability Intimidate using Trace which lower it's atack stat which helped Gallade to make it easier to restain it), allowing the McBusted boy’s Pokémon to finish them off.

 Once the frenzied Pokémon were subdued, Adaman and Irida have led them towards their camp so that they could get away from these Pokémon while they can. They also healed the McBusted boy's Pokémon’s wounds. “I can tell that you all have the expertise when it comes to Pokémon along with the compassion and determination to help them” said Adaman who was proud of them. “It’s no wonder the Pokémon you have rescued have taken a liking to you. Your teamwork is amazing too for a large group” said Irida with amazement.

 “Trust us, we’ve been raising and battling Pokémon during our tour, having adventures along the way” explained Tom. “We may come from different pop bands but we are close friends with each other” said Charlie as they all looked at each other in the eye. “It’s just like us clans. We were rivals yet the recent incidents involved frenzied Pokémon have brought us closer” said Adaman. “Yeah, we all love Pokémon after all even if I have to stick with him for a while longer” said Irida. “Oh come on now, I’m not that bad aren’t I?” teased Adaman, much to Irida’s annoyance. “Well it’s just like when we have to put up with this lot!” said Harry humouring them. “It’s just my luck to breathe the same space as you!” said James joining in their banter. Everyone laughed.

 Once they regained their composure, Irida asked “So what brings you all here?” “We came from another world and were told that the plates would help us to bring us back home” explained Danny. “Come to think of it, we have found this plate which was unearthed by the Pokémon that were fought earlier. Consider this our reward” said Adaman who gave them a Mind Plate. “We can’t thank you all enough!” said Matt.

 The McBusted boys then resumed their quest. After they left, Irida said to Adaman “I’m not sure if those plates would have such power to bring them back home. Maybe I should have told them” Adaman had an idea. “Didn’t they say they’re a pop band? I recall finding this song at The Temple of Sinnoh that is said to reach the heavens. Let’s go and check it out” said Adaman.

 In the meantime, The McBusted boys have worked together to find the other plates throughout Hisui, keeping each other safe, fighting out more frenzied Pokémon, helping others (including defending a group of Bidoofs from a Frenzied Alpha Crobat) and raising their new Pokémon. They were then ready to meet up with Volo at The Temple of Sinnoh.

 Chapter 3: A Mega Revelation

As the McBusted boys meet up with Volo on top of The Temple of Sinnoh,  “Thank you all for doing all the hard work for me” said Volo showing them the final plate; The Spooky Plate. “Huh? What do you mean?” asked Matt who suddenly felt wary. “You all have exactly what I needed” said Volo smiling but it was a sinister smile, rather than a friendly one as a time-space rift was opening with dark, powerful energy. Gallade and Gardevoir were on guard as they fierily protected the McBusted boys.

 “What’s happening?” said Tom who was feeling a nervous vibe. “Alright, what’s going going on here?” demanded Harry. “Fools, you believe that the plates have the power to send you all home? They have the power I needed to summon Arceus. Long have I waited to have this chance of meeting it!” said Volo whose true nature was slowly unravelling.

 Volo then admitted “If you all wondering how you all got here in the first place and why those Pokémon have become frenzied; then it just happened to be the result of me using Giratina; the Pokémon that was sealed away from this world due to its violence to open up the space-time rift so that I can meet Arceus. After all, it wanted to have its own back on Arceus for banishing it” “So you lied to us!” cried Charlie. “No wonder those Pokémon have gone crazy all just to suit yourself!” exclaimed James. “So what of it? All of these are merely by-products if I were to achieve my goal at my price” said Volo indifferently.

 “Still, I am only merely a step away from my goal. As soon as I meet up with Arceus, I’m going to use its powers to wipe out the imperfections of this world and create a brand new one even if it means wiping out everyone living in this world including Pokémon but to do that, then hand me over these plates this instant!” demanded Volo who became consumed with insanity. “No way! We aren’t going to let some madman destroy the world after lying to us!” yelled Dougie. “We’ll be the ones who’ll put an end to your ambitions for the sake of this world!” declared Danny with their Pokémon prepared for battle.  “Humph, suit yourself! I’ll have to take you all out by force!” cried Volo with Giratina in its Altered form have appeared.

 The battle against Volo and Giratina was a fierce one but the boys fought back with everything they had.  Danny and Matt commanded their Roserade and Hisuian Typhlosion to fire their Extrasensory and Inferno Paradise at the Draco Meteors, protecting the other Pokémon for Charlie’s Ursaluna and Harry’s Hisuian Samurott to charge in with their Headlong Rush and Ceaseless Edge.

 Giratina vanishes and reappears, striking them with Shadow Force which takes them by surprise. But James’ Hisuian Decidueye and Gallade boldly strike back with their Leaf Blade and Psyblade. Giratina fired its Aura Spheres at them but Tom’s Gastrodon and Dougie’s  Hisuian Goodra took them out with their Hydro Pump an Draco Meteor. Gardevoir followed up the attack with Lumina Crash.

 Giratina then struck with Earth Power which was heading towards Hisuian Decidueye, Hisuian Typhlosion and Ursaluna but Roserade, Gastrodon, Hisuian Goodra and Hisuian Samurott helped to defend them by intercepting the move (including Gastrodon’s own Earth Power) as ordered by the McFly boys. Giratina then used Shadow Force towards the McFly boys’ Pokémon but the Busted boy’s Pokémon defended them. Their Pokémon then combined their attacks for a powerful hit that seemingly took out Giratina.

 “Alright we did it!” cheered Matt. “That monster of yours is no match for our teamwork combined!” bragged Harry. But Volo wasn’t backing down just yet. “Oh really? That was only merely a taster on what Giratina is capable of...this is where its true power shines!” boasted Volo with Giratina changing into its Origin form, much to the McBusted’s boys disbelief.

 Giratina in its Altered Form was much faster and stronger, using its serpentine body to dodge attacks including Roserade’s Leaf Storm, Hisusian Decidueye’s Sucker Punch, Ursalina’s Headlong Rush, Hisuian Samurott’s Liquidation and Gallade’s Leaf Blade while striking them with Shadow Force. Its Aura Sphere and Earth Power were able to cut through other Pokémon’s attacks including Gastrodon’s Earth Power, Hisuian Typhlosion’s Inferno Paradise and Gardevoir’s Aura Sphere and not even Hisuisan Goodra could withstand them as much. It then fired Draco Meteor which knocked out all but Gallade and Gardevoir who both narrowly avoided it.

 “No!” cried Danny. “You all deserve a good rest” said Charlie as they returned their Pokémon to the Pokeballs given by Adaman and Irida. “Ha! That’s the full power of Giratina; master of Antimatter!” gloated Volo. With Gallade and Gardevoir only remaining, they fought their hardest but were unable to withstand Giratina’s attacks with Gallade tripping over Earth Power and Gardevoir’s Moonblast getting destroyed by Aura Sphere. “No use, save yourselves!” cried Matt fearfully. “We can’t lose here!” yelled Harry. “It’s a pity that you all ended up in the harsh world of Hisui. Giratina, strike them down!” said Volo who ordered Giratina to fire its Draco Meteor at the McBusted boys who all crowded together in fear.

 But Gallade and Gardevoir refused to give up on their Megastones responding to the keystones on the McBusted’s boys guitars. It was their determination to protect their masters that activated their Mega Evolutions. With their newfound extra powers, they defended them from the Draco Meteors using Psyblade and Lumina Crash. “Alright! You both Mega Evolved for us!” cheered Danny. Mega Gallade and Mega Gardevoir proudly looked at them. “Now show us what both of you can do!” said James. "Humph, Mega Evolution is just a cheap tactic that makes weak Pokémon stronger" said Volo who tried to mantain his composure to mask his disbelief. 

 Both Mega Gallade and Mega Gardevoir were faster and stronger with Mega Gallade using Close Combat to take out any incoming projectiles including Draco Meteor and Aura Sphere and Mega Gardevoir’s Hyper Voice becoming a Fairy-type move via her Pixilate, scoring a super effective hit on Giratina who tried to ambush them with Shadow Force. They also dodged its Earth Power for them to sucker punch Giratina using Knock Off and Moonblast.

 “Mega Evolution is so amazing!” said Tom upon watching this. “It’s a good thing we were discussing about Mega Evolution earlier” said Dougie. Giratina attempted to hide and strike once again with Shadow Force but the two Mega Evolutions dodged with their acute senses which gave Mega Gallade a chance to strike with Psyblade. Giratina then fired its Draco Meteors which were intercepted by Mega Gardevoir firing Lumina Crash which hits Giratina, finishing it off.  Having to be weakened, Giratina went back to the portal in its Altered Form.

 “You both were amazing!” cheered Matt as Mega Gallade and Mega Gardevoir reverted back to their base form. “You both have come this far” said Charlie proudly. “No! How could you turn back and ride from these outsiders after I gave you this chance to lure Arceus out of hiding!” yelled Volo who lost all of his composure. He then turned to the McBusted boys and said “I would have got away with it if it weren't for you meddling boy bands! It’s as if all of you have spat out of the space-time rift just to stand in the way of my goals!” “You can’t complain since you wereone who brought us here in the first place!” said Harry. “This world doesn’t need to be remade. It should be reserved for the future generations of the world this is set to become” said James.

 “Humph, you think you’re so smart!” said Volo, surrendering the Spooky Plate to them. “Do what you want, I cannot accept the fact that Arceus may have chosen you all over me. Someday, I will solve each and every one of Hisui’s mysteries and shall conquer Arceus no matter how long it takes!” ranted Volo who left them.

 Chapter 4: Coming Home

 Having to defeat Volo the boys headed back to Jubilife Village left with the Plates as their only option at this point with no clear way home. “Will we ever get back home? We gotta get back to our tour” said Tom worriedly. “Will I ever get to see my wife and kids again?” said Matt with concern.

 They meet up with Adaman and Irida who went over to them. “We thank you all for saving Hisui. Now it’s our turn to repay you” said Adaman gently. “You all said that you came from another world as rock bands? We have found this song that is rumoured to have the power for people to reach out to Arceus. I don’t know if it’s true or not but maybe playing this song could help to summon Arceus” said Irida. The McBusted boys were intrigued to use this opportunity to perform since it’s what they do best after all. “Sure, we’ll give you all the performance of a lifetime” said Danny. “It’ll be like an extra show” said James. "A chance to show you our talent as musicians” said Charlie. “Well I am willing to try by any means to get home” said Harry.

 And so they set up a stage in the middle of Jubilife Village where villagers gathered to experience music from a rock band from another era as they were playing ‘Call to the original one’ where they were fascinated with their style of instruments and vocals. Their voices resonated with the Plates they had collected with the song transcending reality itself. This has caused the sky above them to glow with a huge figure descending towards them. It was The Original One Arceus.

 “We summoned...a God?!” said Dougie with astonishment and he and the others watched in awe with Arceus appearing before them. “You all proved your worth with your strength and bond. For that, I shall return you all to your world where your music can continue to inspire” said Arceus, speaking to them via telepathy and it opened up a portal which is similar to the one that has brought them to Hisui. The McBusted boys thanked Arceus and they waved to the crowd who not only admired their performance but were also grateful for them as heroes. They were allowed to keep the Pokémon that they caught for them to see the modern-day world with the Pokémon willing to stay with them. “We’ll make sure that your legends shall be passed down” said Adaman. “I hope your time will remain peaceful as our legacy will be remembered too” said Irida. “Of course, we will make our people acknowledge your legend” said Dougie as they were sent back to their studio.

 It felt like no time had passed upon their arrival to their own time. “Did that really happen?” asked Harry. “I say so” said Danny as they got out their newly obtained Pokémon from the Hisui region. “And those keystones have certainly been used. I can tell” said Matt as he looked at the keystones. 

“We certainly have gone back in time, just like for one of our songs during the McBusted days” said James. “Been one heck of an adventure with a new song out of it too” said Tom.

 And this is one adventure that they certainly won’t forget having to explore an ancient land, facing powerful Pokémon, overcoming the darkness together and meeting Arceus. On that subject, a huge glowing figure watched over them, knowing that their music would continue to echo through the ages as they inspire hearts.

McBusted's Pokémon Adventures Part 9 : Shedding light on The Darkest Day

 Here is part nine of my fan fiction for two of my favourite boy bands McFly and Busted in their super group McBusted where they continued their tour in the world of Pokémon at the Galar region from the Gen 8 games. The McBusted boys have arrived in the Galar region where they have learned about Dynamax. However, they have to join forces with Galar's champion Leon to avert The Darkest Day throughout Galar including at The Isle of Armour and The Crown Tundra. Enjoy and stay tuned for more. 

Shedding light on The Darkest Day

Chapter 1: Wild Area of the time

Two boy bands McFly and Busted as their supergroup McBusted are continuing their tour around the Pokémon regions. This time, their next stop is at the Galar region where it’s well known for its stadiums where epic gym battles take place with Pokémon undergoing a giant transformation known as Dynamax.

As soon as the McBusted boys took a step into Wyndon, Tom said, “There’s something that feels familiar about the Galar region.” He looked around Wyndon’s buildings with wonder. “Yeah, it’s like we’re closer to home,” said James.

They were greeted by the Galar champion Leon, assistant professor  Sonia and Chairman Rose. “I welcome you all to the Galar region!” said Leon, shaking their hands. "So excited to meet you all!" said Sonia. “I hope you all enjoy your time while visiting Galar” added Rose. “It’s nice to meet you both” said Charlie.  As a welcome gift, Leon has given the boys Dynamax bands. “These Dynamax bands utilized Galar particles allowing your Pokémon to undergo Dynamax; a phenomenon that increases the Pokémon’s size, allowing them to perform powerful Max Moves" explained Sonia. "There’s even a few Pokémon that change their appearance upon Dynamaxing known as Gigantamax” added Leon.

The McBusted boys were fascinated to learn about Dynamax and Gigantamax. “Wow! Bet seeing those Pokémon Dynamaxed would leave a huge impression!” said Danny excitedly. “You have to come up with a huge pun didn’t you?” said Harry dryly.

As the Galar tour went underway, they caught and raised many new Pokémon, including Cinderace for Danny, Alcremie in its Rainbow Swirl form with Star Sweets for Tom, Corviknight for James, Inteleon for Charlie, Dragapult for Dougie, Toxricity in its Amp form for Matt, and Rillaboom for Harry.

“Together! You and I will score a goal for our battles!” said Danny as he high-fives his Cinderace. Raising the fire-type rabbit that resembled a soccer player reminded Danny about the days when he took part in Soccer Aid including one time he was the winger, passing the ball to his team-mate Alan Shearer which helped him to score a goal. “My Dragapult shall launch giant missiles upon Dynamaxing!” bragged Dougie. “I can’t wait to get the show on the road with my Toxtricity amped for battle!” said Matt who pretended to jam his bass that mirrors his punk lizard-like Pokémon clawing its organs on its chest. “Finally a Pokémon that can match my style! My Rillaboom shall drum up the competition!” bragged Harry as he and his Grassy Ape-like Pokémon Rillaboom bang their drums. “Great, as if we don’t have enough noise from you already” muttered Tom covering his ears.

During their free time, they visited the Wild Area as recommended by Leon who told them that it’s full of wild Pokémon. “Wow! What a huge, vast area!” said Danny with amazement. “Race ya for a catching spree!” said Harry competitively as they all rushed into the Wild Area.

Among the Pokémon they found was a Cramorant that had an Arrokuda in its mouth. “What a goofy Pokémon, I gotta catch it!” said Charlie, tossing his Pokeball at it, only for him to aim it towards its stomach which caused Cramorant to spit out the Arrokuda which flew towards Charlie’s chest, causing him to fall flat on his back. “Well you caught us a fish” said James dryly as Cramorant made a getaway.

Dougie was fishing and caught a huge bite. It was the evolved form of Arrokuda, Barraskewda. “Guys, I’ve caught something!” called Dougie. Barraskewda was rather tough as it pulled the reel hard. The others went over to help Dougie to reel Barraskewda in. Gallade and Gardevoir helped out too. “Ok everyone, pull hard now!” called Matt as they all used their might. Barraskewda was too strong and used its strength to pull in the lure, causing everyone to fall into the water. Barrskewda made its getaway. “Well, that was a splash” said Danny and they all laughed, seeing the funny side of it and splashed each other.

After they caught a few Pokémon, they decided to have a break and make some curry, mixing a couple of ingredients into the pot. As they feasted on the curry, Danny spilt some of his egg curry on his shirt. “Eggs, out of all the vegetables” said Danny. “Really? That again?” asked Tom. Once again, they all laughed. They all had a great time in the Wild Area that brought them closer even with a couple of mishaps.

The next day, the McBusted boys were visiting Postwick and spotted the sheep-like Pokémon Wooloo who had crashed into the gate, running towards a field that leads into the forest. It was owned by a young trainer named Hop who ran after it. “Hey! Sorry can you guys help to find my Wooloo? It got over-excited during training and ran off” said Hop. “Sure, we’ll help you find your Wooloo” said Danny reassuring him. “Leave it to us” said James and they followed the direction where Wooloo had run off.

As they were calling for Wooloo, a thick fog unexpectedly appeared. “Huh? Is Galar’s weather unpredictable just like for our country?” said Dougie who was surprised with the sudden change of weather. This has caused both bands to become separated. “Oh no, we lost them” said Charlie with concern. James and Matt stick closely with Charlie. “What should we do? I hope they’re ok” said Tom worriedly as Danny, Dougie and Harry kept themselves close to Tom. Harry had an idea who said rationally “Let’s leave it to Gallade”, promoting Gallade to use his psychic powers to navigate the fog. The Busted boys were thinking the same thing with Gardevoir. “Leave it to Gardevoir!” said Matt as she led the way.

Both bands have encountered a rusted relic. The one that the McFly boys have found looks like a sword while the one that the Busted boys have discovered resembled a shield. “I wonder what that sword statue meant to be?” asked Danny. They both also found some musical notes and lyrics written on the relics. “We better keep hold of them. They could come in handy” said James as both bands picked up the sword and shield relics.  

Shortly after that, their Gallade and Gardevoir were able to reunite both bands and the fog cleared up. “Thank goodness you are all in one piece!” said Tom. “All thanks to our Pokémon!” said Charlie, hugging each other. They then spotted Hop’s Wooloo nearby. “Well that is sure lucky of us. Now we can get out of here” said Harry.

They led Wooloo to Hop who thanked them for their help and apologized for the trouble. “No problem, we’re happy to help anytime” said Matt. Hop then recognised who they were. “Wait, you all are from McFly and Busted; joined together as McBusted? My Brother Lee has been telling me about you all!” said Hop excitedly. “Well that’s a small world” said Dougie.

Later today, while the McBusted boys were preparing for their show in Wydon, Leon was discussing something with Rose. “According to the latest readings, I regret to inform you that Galar’s energy supply is rapidly running short. This is due to the large amount of Galar particles being used by our huge population overusing Dynamax so it’s imminent that Galar will be experiencing an energy crisis” said Rose. “This is worrying. We should gather the scientists and work together to find a solution” said Leon. “Why Leon, we are in luck as I have an absolute solution to avert our energy crisis; by using the Pokémon that caused The Darkest Day long ago in Galar; Eternatus. By awakening it, we can use its powers to provide us with an infinite supply of Galar energy” said Rose.

This has concerned Leon. “I’m all for helping with our energy crisis but you do know that this will cause another Darkest Day that’ll threaten Galar?!” he objected. But Rose remained delusional and said “As our top champion, I expected you to understand. This is the only way to solve our energy crisis. With time running short, I have to maintain our energy supply at any cost” said Rose who went towards the lab that contained Eternatus. Knowing that Rose was too fixated with his plan to be reasoned with, Leon rushed towards Wydon station to warn the McBusted boys, worried that they’d be caught up in danger that they were about to be dragged in.

During the McBusted concert, the power suddenly went off. As the McBusted boys and the crowd were looking around in awe, a large dragon-like Pokémon Eternatus flew over the stadium. “What on earth is that?!” exclaimed Dougie. Eternatus has released an unstable amount of Galar particles throughout the region, causing wild Pokémon to suddenly Dynamax, causing a rampage in their large size.

“This is like we’re in the middle of a Kanji movie!” cried Tom as they were witnessing the crisis. “Those giants are crashing our concert, just like how we crashed the wedding!” exclaimed James. The McBusted were covering together in horror. Leon arrived with his Charizard and said “I’m sorry but this is an urgent matter.” He explained about The Darkest Day and how Rose intended to use Eternatus to create another Darkest Day as a solution for their energy crisis. "I know your concert has to be put on hold but I really need all the help I can get to stop those Dynamax Pokémon from wreaking havoc” said Leon.

 The McBusted boys agreed to help out. “You can count us in!” said Charlie. “Yeah, for all of our fans who come to see us and all those Pokémon!” said Danny.

Leon and his Charizard lead the McBusted boys to the sighting of Dynamax Pokémon. The first couple of Dynamax Pokémon they encountered were a Gigantamax Orbeetle, Falinks and Polteagiest. “Now that's what I call a UFO!” said Dougie as he witnessed the giant UFO-Ladybird Pokémon. “Aren’t there a bunch of them!” called Matt commenting on Falinks who looks like a group of small Spartan soldiers. “I don’t think I fancy a huge cup of tea right now” said Harry referring to the ghostly tea pot like Pokémon. Their jokes help to lighten up the tension.

Leon kept his composure and said “At the very least, you’ll get to see my Dynamax Pokémon in action!” said Leon who used his Dynamax band to Gigantamax his Charizard, matching the size of other Dynamax Pokémon while undergoing a more rugged transformation. “Now that is gigantic!” said Charlie with astonishment. “My partner has won many battles with its flames scorching hotter than magma like this!” said Leon as his Gigantamax Charizard fired its G-Max Wildfire towards the Dynamax Pokémon including G-Max Orbeetle firing its G-Max Gravitas. “I am certainly feeling the scorching heat” said Danny sweating as he was feeling the heat from the G-Max Wildfire.

Although Leon’s Charizard did a lot of damage, the Dynamax Pokémon weren’t down just yet with Dynamax Falinks and Dynamax Polteagiest unleashing their Max Knuckle and Max Phantasm towards the McBusted boy’s Pokémon. “Woah! Look out!” cried Tom. Gallade and Gardevoir quickly took action and protected them with their moves including Gallade slicing against the fists from the Max Knuckle using Psyblade which also hit Falinks and Gardevoir using Psychic on the moving objects and sent them right back towards Polteagiest. “Good thinking there!” called James as their Pokémon used this chance to fight back.

Gigantamax Orbeetle fired its Max Flutterby towards the McBusted boy’s Pokémon but Leon’s Gigantamax Charziard fired its Max Airstream towards the move with the rushing airstream cutting through the move to protect them as commanded by Leon. Max Airstream has also hit the three Dynamax Pokémon. “Thanks, no wonder you’re the champion” said Matt. “Just keeping you all safe while we get through this crisis” said Leon modestly. The Dynamax Pokémon were weakened enough to revert to their normal size.

Just then, Leon saw the news on his Rotom phone that there were sightings of Dynamax Pokémon in two areas of Galar; The Isle of Armour and The Crown Tundra. “I need to ask you all a favour. Could you split up and head to these two areas and stop those Dynamaxed Pokémon?” asked Leon. “But what about you Leon? Will you be alright on your own?” asked Danny with concern. “No worries, I’ll get some backup. Besides it’ll help to save Galar twice as fast” said Leon. “Sure, leave it to us!” said Harry.

Leon added to contact each other in case there’s any trouble. Meanwhile, Rose and his secretary Oleana have overheard them and planned to stop them. As soon as the McBusted headed to the two designated areas, Leon spotted Eternatus. He vows to capture it so that it won’t fall into the wrong hands.

Leon's Brother Hop has helped to back him up, Dynamaxing his Dubwool as evolved froom Wooloo. Although it fought its hardest, firing its Max Strike at the Dynamax Meowstics (both male and female), it wasn't able to withstand two Max Mindstorm, reverting it back to its normal size. Leon protected his brother with his Gigantamax Charizard shielding him and firing its Max Airstream at the Dynamax Meowstics.  Although he was greateful for his help, Hop couldn't help but to feel that wasn't strong enough for him. Leon noticed his feelings and said to him reassuringly "Don't worry, you fought your best." 

Chapter 2: Shine a light on the Isle of Armour

The McFly boys have chosen to go to Galar’s coastal island; Isle of Armour where there were many Pokémon that forcefully became Dynamax, causing them to go on a rampage as a cause of the sudden transformation. “We better stop them before there’s nothing left” said Tom. “I say let’s counter Dynamax with Dynamax!” said Dougie. The others followed his idea and activated their Dynamax band for their Pokémon. Danny, Tom and Harry were astonished that their Cinderace, Alcremie and Rillaboom were in their Gigantamax forms by chance. While the McFly boys used their Pokémon to fight, Gallade helped to escort any people or Pokémon to safety, using his psychic senses to forewarn him any incoming attacks.

“Alright, let’s bring them down!” said Danny with his Gigantamax Cinderace were up against a Dynamax Grapploct and Dynamax Dhelmise at the Challenge Beach. Danny told Cinderace to start the attack with its Max Knuckle which increased its Attack while changing into a Fighting type with its ability Libero. In response, The martial arts octopus slammed down its large tentacles that destroyed nearby trees while the anchor that was controlled by the spirits in the seaweed slammed its huge hock towards Gigantamax Cinderace. Both of these Dynamax Pokémon were trying to cause Dynamax Cinderace to fall off its giant fireball.

“Don’t let up Cinderace! Let’s score the goal with your G-Max Fireball!” called Danny and his Gigantamax Cinderace jumped off its huge fireball and kicked it towards the Dynamax Grapploct and Dhelmise. “Alright! It’s coming home!” cheered Danny. His Dynamax Cinderace cried out in triumphant too. Danny also added “It’s a good thing they’re not Water types."

Tom and his Gigantamax Alrcemie were fighting against a Gigantamax Hatterene and a Dynamax Sirfetch’d. Gigantamax Hatterene also known as the Forest Witch attacked with its G-Max Smite which made Gigantamax Alcremie dizzy with confusion. The knight duck took advantage by hitting Gigantamax Alcremie with its huge leek. 

But Tom helped it out by calling “Don’t give it up! Show them what you’re made off with your G-Max Finale!” called Tom. His Gigantamax Alrcemie heard his call which helped to snap out from its confusion and fired its G-Max Finale towards the two giant Pokémon. It also helped to restore some of the damage it sustained. “See there? Now give them some desserts with your Max Flare!” said Tom and his Gigantamax Alrcemie finished them off with its Max Flare.

Dougie’s Dynamax Dragapult was fighting against a Dynamax Aegislash and a Dynamax Pincurchin. “How the heck I’m supposed to fight that thing?!” cried Dougie in frustration as Dynamax Aegislash in its Shield form used King’s Shield to block the attack. Dynamax Pincurchin took advantage by firing its Max Lighting towards Dynamax Dragapult with it hitting hard by the Electric Terrain as set by Pincurchin’s Electric Surge ability.

Dougie remained composed and thought of a plan. “Well we’ll have to deal with that Sea Urchin first! Go and unleash your Max Wyrmwind!” said Dougie with his Dynamax Dragapult firing its huge purple vortex towards Pincurchin, overpowering Max Lighting and dealing a lot of damage. Dynamax Aegislash then changed into its Blade form and was set to attack. “Ha! Your guard is down! Now unleash your Max Phantasm!” called Dougie and his Dynamax Dragapult unleashed the move which hit Aegislash with it being exposed to its attacks without using its shield.

Harry and Gigantamax Rillaboom were at Potbottom Desert where they were confronted by Gigantamax Sandaconda and Dynamax Flygon. “We mostly have the type advantage here so show them your performance!” said Harry as his Gigantamax Rillaboom activated its Grassy Surge ability which summoned a Grassy Terrain to increase the power its Grass type moves while it beat its drums, using G-Max Drum Solo, hitting the two giant Pokémon hard.

However, Gigantamax Sandaconda used its G-Max Sandblast, trapping Gigantamax Rillaboom in a sandstorm which caused damage while Dynamax Flygon fired its Max Wyrmwind which weakened Gigantamax Rillaboom. But Gigantamax Rillaboom still holds its ground with the Grassy Terrian restored its health. “See? They aren’t going to mess with us! Now teach them a lesson with your Max Darkness!” said Harry and Gigantamax Rillaboom unleashed its giant dark energy towards the huge sidewinder and ant lion.

After weakening the Dynamax Pokémon throughout the Isle of Armour, the McFly boys and their Gallade were up against Rose’s secretary Oleana. “I suggest you boys should stay out of our business for the sake of Galar!” said Oleana who Gigantamax her Garbodor. “Pu, looks like we’re up against some trash” said Dougie. “Set by the psycho girl, not like from one of Busted’s songs” added Harry. Oleana was angered by their insult. “How dare you! This was by my side ever since I came from a poor family! Garbodor, teach them a lesson with your G-Max Malodor!” yelled Oleana as the giant trash-heap Pokémon summoned poisonous oozing liquid towards their Pokémon.

Quickly, Danny commanded Gigantamax Cinderace to intercept the attack with its G-Max Fireball, hitting Gigantamax Garbodor. “You both need to shut your mouths” said Tom with annoyance as his Gigantamax Alrcemie helped out with its G-Max Finale. Oleana then ordered Gigantamax Garbodor to fire its Max Overgrowth but Dynamax Dragapult and Gigantamax Rillaboom used their Max Phantasm and Max Darkness to take out the giant seeds, giving Gallade a chance to strike with its Psyblade. After Garbodor reverted to its normal size upon defeat, Oleana relents and says “I guess it’s true that my boss has gone too far out of desperation. You must stop him.” “Don’t worry, I’ve just got a message from my friends that they’re fighting him at The Crown Tundra. I’m sure they can try to bring some sense in him” said Danny reassuring her. Oleana nodded in respect.

Chapter 3: Darkest Day turns into night on the Crown Tundra

Meanwhile, the Busted boys were at the snowy southern side of Galar known as The Crown Tundra. “We sure get the colder pick” said Charlie as they were shivering. But there was no time to be cold as they had to stop the Pokémon that were unsustainably Dynamaxed. “Let’s match their size shall we?” suggested James as they Dynamax their Pokémon. Again, they were surprised that their Dynamaxed Pokémon had their Gigantamax forms. While the Busted boys took part in the battles, their Gardevoir helped to protect the people and Pokémon with her barriers.

James and his Gigantamax Corviknight were up against a Dynamax Frosmoth and Dynamax Mr Rime, the latter Pokémon had set up Reflect to reduce damage which helped the former Pokémon to attack with Max Hailstorm. “Let’s give these screens a wipe shall we?” said James, commanding his Gigantamax Coviknight to blow away Reflect using G-Max Wind Rage while dealing damage.

That didn’t stop the two Dynamax Ice types to try and bury Gigantamax Corviknight by combining their Max Hailstorm. “Don’t let up now and use Max Knuckle!” said James as Gigantamax Corviknight repelled the giant hailstones with its giant fist projectiles, increasing its attack powers for Gigantamax Corviknight to deal extra damage by using Max Steelspike. “No hard feeling Charlie Chaplin” said James, referring to the fact that Mr Rime resembles him.

Charlie has found Gigantamax Grimmsnarl and Dynamax Cursola. He has witnessed Gigantamax Grimmsnarl putting Pokémon to sleep with its G-Max Snooze earlier but he has a plan for that. “Now secret agent Inteleon, shoot them down with your G-Max Hydrosnipe!” commanded Charlie and his Gigantamax Inteleon fired its harpoon made out of water towards the floating objects set by the giant ghostly bleached coral using Max Phantasm. This helped his giant aquatic secret agent lizard to hit Dynamax Cursola directly. “As much as I feel bad for you. We must do better to fight against climate change” said Charlie with some pity.

Just then, the giant troll-like Pokémon was about to fire its G-Max Snooze but Charlie was prepared for that and said “Inteleon, fire your Max Hailstorm quickly!” and Gigantamax Inteleon fired giant hailstones on Gigantamax Grimmsnarl, burying it before it can execute its attack that would have made his Gigantamax Inteleon drowsy. “Just like a secret agent!” said Charlie proudly.

Matt and his Gigantamax Toxtricity were confronted by Dynamax Obstagoon and Dynamax Aggron. Both of them were troublesome with the giant punk badger used Max Strike which slowed down Gigantamax Toxtricity and the giant metallic dinosaur withstood hits with its defensives which are further boosted by using Max Steelspike (while also being immune to Poison-type moves as part of the Steel type).

But Matt had a trick up his sleeve. “Let’s rock Toxtricity with your G-Max Stun Shock!” called Matt and his Gigantamax Toxtricity unleashed a bolt of electricity from its guitar which paralysed Dynamax Aggron and Poisoned Dynamax Obstagoon. “Alright! That’ll own them!” bragged Matt. However, Dynamax Obstagoon took advantage of being poisoned with its ability Guts which increased its attack power. “Quick! We can’t let them have our spotlight!” called Matt and his Gigantamax Toxtricity used Max Ooze to take out Dynamax Ostagoon. The move in turn raised his Gigantamax Toxtricity’s Special Attack to deal more damage to Dynamax Aggron.

After defeating the Dynamax Pokémon throughout the Crown Tundra, the Busted boys and Gardevoir were confronted by Rose who Gigantamax his Copperajah (but not before the Busted boys have contacted the McFly boys via their Rotom phone). “So you’re the one who interrupted our concert for this huh?” demanded Matt. “Why I am truly sorry for the inconvenience but surely you all must understand that Galar is dangerously running low on Galar particles so therefore, I do what I must” answered Rose. “But isn’t there any other way without resorting to extreme measures?” asked Charlie. “Time is running out so recreating the Darkest Day is the only way” said Rose with his Gigantamax Copperjah unleashing its metallic spikes using G-Max Steelsurge to prevent them from getting any closer.

“Well we’re still going to have to stop you from going to the deep end!” said James as his Gigantamax Corviknight blew away the spikes using G-Max Wind Rage. Rose then ordered Gigantamax Copperjah to fire its Max Flare. Gardevoir used Hyper Voice to repel the attack, allowing Gigantamax Inteleon and Gigantamax Toxtricity to take down the giant copper elephant with their G-Max Hydrosnipe and G-Max Stun Shock. As Rose withdraws his Copperjah, he says to them “Go ahead and stop it if you must but be warned that you’ll pay for the price for the future of Galar” before he goes away.

Just then, both bands received an urgent message from Leon who needed backup, telling them to meet up at The Tower Summit at Hammerlocke Stadium. With McFly and Busted rendezvousing at Hammerlocke, they all embraced each other having to be relieved that they were safe before quickly rushing towards The Tower Summit. Along the way, they meet up with Hop (as accompanied by Sonia)  . “Please hurry. I don’t sure if Lee can last longer and I’ll only slow him down” said Hop who sounds somewhat down. “Don’t worry, we’re on our way” said Dougie.

Chapter 4: Harmonoy of the Sword and Shield 

The McBusted arrived at the Tower Summit and found Leon who was up against Eternatus but in a much larger size with its whole body becoming serpentine yet it was surrounded in red aura so only its giant hand was showing which is actually it’s head. This was Eternatus in its Eternamax form. “What such abomination!” exclaimed Matt.  

They then noticed Leon who appeared to be worn-out and distressed. His Chairzard who had Gigantamax earlier was matching his feelings even though it wasn’t down just yet. “Leon! Are you alright?!” said Danny as they all rushed over to him. “I’m fine but Eternatus...was too much even for me. Sorry, but I’m going to have to rely on you all. Eternatus needs to be caught at any cost!” said Leon. “Leave it to us! The bigger they are, the harder they fall!” said James with determination while his Charizard sat this one out for now.

The McBusted boy’s Pokémon all fought their hardest against Eternatus using their combined teamwork including Tom’s Alrcremie using Decorate on Danny’s Cinderace and Matt’s Toxtricity which powered them up as Cinderace used Hi Jump Kick (which again changed into a Fighting type with its Libreo ability) and Toxtricity firing its Overdrive (which was further boosted with its Punk Rock ability) to intercept Eternatus’ Max Flare.

This helped James’ Corviknight and Harry’s Rillaboom to charge in using their Brave Bird and Grassy Glide while Charlie’s Inteleon and Dougie’s Dragapult fired their Snipe Shot (which was a critical hit as powered up with Sniper) and Dragon Darts at a distance. Alcremie also backed them up by firing its Dazzling Gleam.

But Eternatus proved to be too strong for them with their Pokémon having to be already worn down from their previous battles (which was shown with their movements were less agile which made them prone to Eternatus’ attacks or Eternatus dodging their moves including Cinderace’s Pyro Ball and Dragapult’s Shadow Ball)  and their Dynamax bands were already used up so they withdraw their Pokémon with only Gallade and Gardevoir remaining. “This doesn’t look good. I knew we should have stopped at a Pokémon centre first” said Tom worriedly. “I know but we were caught up with the action and worried about Leon at the time” said Charlie admittedly. “Well now what do we do?” asked Harry anxiously.

Just then, Dougie remembered something. “Didn’t we pick up those sword and shield relics from earlier? They had song lyrics didn’t they?” They got out the rusted sword and shield relics from their bags. Leon recognised them. “I think they’re the relics that belong to the legendary heroes of Galar; Zacian and Zamazenta as researched by a friend of mine! They could be the ones who could help us!” said Leon. “Maybe playing the songs written on them could help to summon them!” said Danny. “Well, what are we waiting for? Let’s do it!!” said James.

The McFly boys were playing the song written on the rusted sword known as Ballad of the Sword and The Busted boys were playing Melody of the Shield as written on the rusted shield while Leon’s Chairzard helped to distract Eternatus even though it was worn down although Gallade and Gardevoir helped to back it up.

Upon playing the two songs, two large dog-like legendary Pokémon Zacian and Zamazenta showed up, much to everyone’s surprise and amazement. “Wow! Our performance has summoned those two heroes!” exclaimed Harry. “Quick! Give them the rusted sword and shield you all have found!” called Leon. The McFly boys have given Zacian the rusted sword and the Busted boys gave Zamazenta the rusted shield, turning them into their warrior forms with a more majestic appearance.  “Wow! To think that getting lost in that fog would have led us to these legendaries!” said Matt with astonishment and Zacian and Zamazenta were ready to give them a helping hand.

Eternatus fired a large laser beam towards them using Eternabeam but Zamazenta intercepted the move by charging its shield-like head using Behemoth Bash. Zacian followed up the attack by slashing its sword using Behemoth Blade. The McBusted boys were thrilled to witness their strength. “Wow! Watching Zacian fight is just like a sword smiting its opponent!” said Tom. “And Zamazenta is just like one big shield blocking the attack!” said Charlie.  

Even though Zacian and Zamazenta were powerful enough to stand up to Eternatus, they both weren’t able to fight it along with Eternatus fighting back with powerful moves including Max Flare so the two legendary Pokémon bestowed a part of their power into the McBusted’s boys Dynamax bands, fully charging it. “Oh boy! We can Dynamax again! And I know who we can Dynamax!” cheered Danny with the McFly boys looking at Gallade. “You’re ready for this?” asked James as the Busted guys looked at Gardevoir.

Both Psychic types nodded at both bands. Shortly after that, the McFly and Busted boys returned Gallade and Gardevoir to their Pokeballs with both bands holding their respective Pokeballs together, charging up their Dynamax bands and tossing their Pokeballs together, Dynamaxing Gallade and Gardevoir. “And now our shining knight in armour is a giant knight in armour!” said Dougie who is hyped with the sight of Dynamax Gallade. “As with our bride-to-be!” said Charlie who is thrilled to have this chance to Dynamax Gardevoir. “Either way, our Dynamax Pokémon shall crush the competition!” boasted Harry.

Both Dynamaxed Pokémon have helped Zacian and Zamazenta to fight against Eternatus with Dynamax Gallade launching his Max Fists at Eternatus’ Max Rockfall, using the fist projectiles to break through the giant rock while also raising the Attack stat for his allies and Dynamax Gardevoir using Max Starfall to create a Misty Terrain to prevent any status effects. Both Dynamax  Pokémon also used Max Mindstorm which hits Eternatus for super effective damage. Even when Dynamax, Gallade and Gardevoir helped each other out including with Gallade firing his Max Overgrow at Max Rockfall to protect Gardevoir and Gardevoir using Max Fists to block the Max Ooze that was about to hit Gallade.  “Good for you both to fight side by side!” called Tom. “Just like how we work together as a team” said Matt with both bands gazing at each other admirably.

Just after Zacian and Zamazenta attacked Eternatus, the Gigantic Pokémon was about to fire its Eternabeam but Gallade and Gardevoir quickly intercepted the attack by firing their Max Mindstorm towards it. It created a giant blast as the moves collided, just as the Dynamax effect wore off for Gallade and Gardevoir. The McBusted boys rushed over to them as they were about to collapse with exhaustion but were no less proud to help out. This gives Zacian and Zamazenta a chance to strike Eternatus with their Behemoth Sword and Behemoth Bash once more.

“Now’s the time to capture it!” called Leon, tossing a spare Pokeball towards the McBusted boys (with Leon seeing McBusted as the ones worthy enough to capture it). The Pokeball turned into its giant size as the McBusted boys grabbed it. “And now, this will be like one big capture for us all!” said Harry. “As one big super group!” said Matt and together, they all tossed the weakened Eternatus which is like tossing a giant basketball. It captured Eternatus with the big Pokeball landing on the ground, shaking back and forth before it returned to its normal size, making the capture a success. “Alright! We did it!” cheered Danny. “We caught Eternatus while saving Galar!” celebrated James. They thanked Zarcian and Zamazenta for their help as they went away into the distance.

The McBusted boys were hailed as heroes for Galar as said by Leon “Galar is safe because of all of your efforts.” “If anything it’s those legendary heroes that you should be thanking. They should be remembered as heroes” said James. “You’re right, I’ll make sure that they’ll be remembered by history although you all were the ones who summoned them so you all should have some credit too” said Leon’s friend Sonia who is an assistant professor. This made the McBusted boys blush.

 As for Rose, he handed himself over to the authorities. Leon added that he’ll be the one who’ll keep Eternatus safe (having to be handed over by the McBusted boys), hoping to find a way for Eternatus to co-exist while rehabilitating it.

Leon added that he along with his Brother Hop and Sonia will be joining with Galar’s scientists to find a long-term solution to maintain Galar particles but in a way that’ll benefit both people and Pokémon. “I may have been powerless back then but I hope I can use my position to bring communities together to work on finding solutions” said Leon. “It’s just like how I help with environmental issues so I get your ideas” said Dougie. “I wasn’t strong enough to help Lee but someday, I’ll become stronger” said Hop who was trying to remain cheerful but couldn’t help to feel down about himself. “Don’t worry about it. We all have our setbacks as musicians at times but the main thing to remember is to use your failures as lessons to learn for you to improve yourself. Also, we wouldn’t have found those rusted items if it weren’t for you” said Danny reassuring him. Hop smiled at Danny’s wisdom. “Thanks, I will get stronger for you all!” said Hop.

Afterwards, they went back to the hotel to prepare for their final show in Galar in Wyndon as rescheduled. “You know, we should combine these two songs that summoned Zarcian and Zamazenta” suggested Tom. “Right, I’m with you!” said Charlie as they were writing down lyrics. They also added their experience with Dynamaxing and their adventure throughout the Galar region as pitched in by the others.

The song became a smash hit with the crowd including Leon, Hop and Sonia erupting the Wyndon stadium with their cheer which is exactly like watching a Pokémon battle. The McBusted boys were proud of how their song ‘The Harmony of Galar’s Heroes’ has turned out which ended their tour in Galar on a high note with them coming out stronger from The Darkest Day.
