Here is the final part of my McBusted story featuring the final fight between The McBusted boys, their Digimon partners and their allies against Lucemon.
McBusted’s Digimon Adventures – Knight & Love Vs Demons & Hate
Chapter 4 – The
fight for both worlds

The McBusted Boys, The Royal Knights and the others have caught up to Lucemon Shadow Lord Mode in the real world, fighting to protect the world they hold dear. Lucemon in his Shadow Lord mode however was destructive with powerful attacks and unpredictable movements, using Tide of Despair to drive The Royal Knights back, hit hard by firing powerful laser beams from the seven crowns that appeared above his body using Nihilism Maelstrom, lashing out his claws at those who gets too close to him or nearby buildings using Dimension Slasher and firing his rays of darkness from the sphere that Lucemon was holding known as Gehenna using Wrath of Darkness.
“Lucemon is too strong. What should we do?” asked Tom. Omnimon was looking at The Gehenna. “I believe that the key to defeating Lucemon lies in that sphere that is taking control of him. We should make our way through there” said Omnimon. So they planned for half of the Royal Knights to enter The Gehnna while the others worked on keeping Lucemon busy. The McBusted boy’s families give their support. “I know you got this Brother but be careful” said Chris. “I’ll be back,” said James reassuring him. “Be safe Danny. Cooper and I are with you” said Georgia as she and Danny held hands as Cooper was cheering for his Father. “I will Georgia and I promise to keep working on making amends to you. I always love you” said Danny and they gave each other a kiss.
Dominic, Craniamon, Hayden, John, and Examon worked on helping Danny, James, and Omnimon create an opening for them to get into The Gehenna. “It feels so good to soar the skies again!” said The Dragon-like Knight Examon who swoops in and protects Omnimon from Lucemon’s Nihilism Maelstorm by swinging his spear known as Ambrosius (with Hayden and John were thrilled to ride on Examon with Hayden excitedly saying “Now this is like Pod-racing!” and John saying “Now this is a joy ride!” Hayden and John have also spotted the attack for them to alert Examon and to protect Danny and James). “Likewise, it’s good to fight alongside you fellow knight” said Omnimon, returning the favour by defending Examon from Lucemon’s claws with his Transcendent Sword and firing his Supreme Cannon directly at Lucemon.
Lucemon fired his Wrath of Darkness back at them but Craniamon defended them by intercepting the attack with a powerful sonic wave using Shock Ringer. “It was thanks to the kid who alerted me about the attack. He must have keen senses” said Craniamon who admired Dominic’s quick thinking. Dominic said to them “I’m always rooting for you all.” “I believe in you as you keep on learning and growing” said Hayden giving his reassurance to Danny. “Only you can decide what makes you” said John as he uplifted James’ spirits. They both felt warm with their support. Danny, James and Omnimon were able to move towards The Gehenna while they kept on distracting Lucemon. Along the way, Danny said to James “I believe that this Digivolution has helped to close the gap between McFly and Busted.” “Whenever we jam together or go head to head, we’ll always be friends,” said James as they gazed at each other.
UlforceVeedramon fired his Ray of Victory towards Lucemon’s Tide of Despair to repel the attack. “That shall be our victory!” cheered Tom Fletcher. “Indeed which we shall work on!” said UlforceVeedramon who fought against Lucemon’s claws with his Victory Sword. They were about to get hit by Nihilism Maelstorm but Tom Holland spotted the attack, prompting the yellow-armoured Digimon Magnamon to take out the attack by shooting out his ball-shaped plasma Magna Blast. “Together, we’ll turn things around with a miracle,” said Magnamon. Tom Holland then gives his word of encouragement to Tom Fletcher saying “You got this Tom, just like with your music and stories which are awesome.” Tom smiled and he and UlforceVeedramon entered The Gehenna.
Jesmon dodged Lucemon’s Nihilism Maelstorm and fired his Un Pour Tous towards Lucemon. Lucemon however flew above Jesmon and Charlie and was about to strike them from behind using Dimensional Slasher but Andrew spotted this and Gankoomon stopped his tracks by striking hard with his fist using Tekken Seisai. “It looks like I’ve trained you well since you were a Hackmon” said the superhero-like Royal Knight praising him. “My powers are a result of your guidance” replied Jesmon proudly yet humbly. Andrew then said to Charlie “Whatever you do, you have my support”. “Thanks, this one is for you!” called Charlie as he and Jesmon made their way into The Gehenna.
Gallantmon rides on Grani to evade Lucemon’s Wrath of Darkness (with Dougie saying that this is as cool as skateboarding) and holds his Shield of Just to defend themselves from Nihilism Maelstrom. However, they became covered by Tide of Despair but Leopardmon repelled the flames by firing his Black Aura Blast. Zane helped out by punching his fists at the attack. “It’s a good thing I’ve been gaining these guns. And you are not what others are saying about you” said Zane. “Why thanks and good of you to make good use of those muscles of yours” said Dougie. “Now onwards we go,” said Gallantmon as they made their way into The Gehenna. “Be careful there, there may be something in there that is controlling Lucemon” warned Leopardmon.
“We got to fight for our world for the sake of those we love and to give those a chance to complete their healing journey,” said Matt. “You said it!” said Kentaurosmon, firing his Múspellsheimr at Lucemon as he fired his Wrath of Darkness. As the arrows intercepted the attack, this gave Kentaurosmon and Mat a chance to get closer to The Gehenna but Lucemon fired his Nihilism Maelstorm at them. Crusadermon and Zac quickly came by to help them with Crusadermon defending them by using a Pile Bunker to create a whirlwind using Scarlet Tempest. “I believe in your healing journey. Keep at it” said Zac. Matt smiled at his compliment. The female pink knight noticed this and said with admiration “Love and support are the most beautiful things in the world.” Matt and Kentaurosmon made their way into The Gehenna.
Alphamon fired his Divine Sword Grade Alpha at Lucemon’s Nihilism Maelstorm to take out the attack. He swings his Ouryuken at Lucemon who holds it with his giant claws, causing Alphamon to struggle but The Wyvern-like Digimon Dynasmon swoops in, surrounding himself in a wyvern shape aura to help out, landing Lucemon with great force using Breath of Wyvern. “Anything to fight by your side as a fellow knight,” said Dynasmon. “Always the one with great loyalty,” said Alphamon thanking him. Tobey then said to Harry with encouragement “Go for it, I’m rooting for you!” “Thanks, always appreciated it” said Harry as he and Alphamon went into The Gehenna.
The McBusted Boys and their Digimon partners have made their way into The Gehenna and found a small, larva-like Digimon with 12 wings and a stinger on its tail. “What is that?” said Harry in bewilderment. “It must be Lucemon’s true form that is taking control” said Omnimon analysing it. “You mean his true form is a bug?!” said Matt with surprise. Lucemon Larva turned to them and said “I am not a bug! I am your Lord and Master who shall rule both worlds with nothing can stop me!” “Only a master of evil!” said Tom. “We’ll be the ones who’ll stop you for the fate of two worlds!” declared Charlie. “For all humans, Digimon and every other living being!” added Jesmon.
“Well too bad that you all won’t live to see my utopia!” said Lucemon Larva and fired several stingers towards The Royal Knights. Although Lucemon Larva wasn’t much of a fighter, his stings were painful which stunned The Royal Knights but with their will and determination, they fought off the stingers with their swords, making their way towards Lucemon Larva. “Just try and stop us!” said Dougie. “There’s no way we’ll let our world be ruled by a corrupted tyrant like you!” said James. “Even in darkness, we shall shed light for everyone!” said Danny as The Royal Knights were closer to Lucemon Larva, much to his disbelief. “No! This cannot be!” cried Lucemon Larva and The Royal Knights grabbed him, forcing him out of The Gehenna.
This caused Lucemon Shadow Lord Mode to go berserk with no one controlling him, firing his Tide of Despair everywhere and trashing about with his claws and tail. “Fu, fu, you may have stopped my control but his destruction will be your doing!” taunted Lucemon Larva. Lucemon Shadow Lord Mode was about to attack the other Royal Knights and their allies but The McBusted boys and their Digimon partners quickly went over to shield them from Lucemon Shadow Lord Mode’s attack which included Danny, James and Omnimon protecting Hayden, John, Examon, Dominic and Craniamon, Tom Fletcher and UlforceVeedramoon guarding Tom Holland and Magnamon, Charlie Simpson and Jesmon saving Andrew and Gankoomon, Dougie and Gallantmon shielding Zane and Leopardmon, Matt and Kentaurosmon protecting Zac and Crusadermon and Harry and Alphamon guarding Tobey and Dynasmon. It was their way to thanking them for giving their moral support. In return, The Royal Knights that were protected attacked Lucemon Shadow Lord Mode.
Lucemon Larva spotted The McBusted boy's family and moved towards them to not only attack them but to lure Lucemon Shadow Lord Mode to attack them. But The McBusted boys have spotted this and their Digimon partners went over and protected them by fending off Lucemon Larva, showing their love for their family. “Don’t even think about hurting my family!” yelled Danny. “Yeah, be a man and face us!” added James. “Why how dare you! I swear that I’ll...” said Lucemon Larva but he was accidentally hit by Lucemon Shadow Lord Mode’s Nihilism Maelstorm, the move that Lucemon Larva was intending for his dragon-like form to aim at The McBusted boys’ family. Their Digimon partners then countered the other Nihilism Maelstorms with their swords, hitting Lucemon Shadow Lord Mode with a huge amount of damage.
“I can’t be defeated! I am fit for the ruler of both worlds! I won’t allow it!” screamed Lucemon Larva with both forms weakened. “And now you shall fall by the might of The Royal Knights! Feel our power and perish!” said Omnimon and all of The Royal Knights combined all of their attacks to finish off Lucemon once and for all.
Everyone cheered upon victory. The Royal Knights turned to them with Omnimon saying “Thank you for giving us the power to make this possible, bringing peace and harmony to our world once more.” “We have you to thank for believing in us,” said Tom happily. “You helped us to remind us of the love for our careers once more,” said Charlie with renewed faith. “Right now, I feel like I am back on track,” said Danny smiling. “Remember, you are not defined by what other people say, by your mistakes, what your mind tells you or what life throws at you. As long as you choose how to respond, focus on those supporting you and keep on doing what you love doing best, then that’s how you win. No one’s perfect but you are loved and always worth it” said Omnimon, lifting the McBusted boys’ spirits.
Before they bid their farewells, they all went back to the Digital World to provide a memorial for Leomon, thanking him for all his help and remembering his bravery. The Royal Knight promised to keep on protecting The Digital World for him and The McBusted Boys promised to remember them along with their Digimon partners who they hope to meet again someday.
A few days later back in the real world, The McBusted boys performed at their concert with Dominic, their family and the actors watching them in their VIP seats. Their fans were cheering for them, giving them their support and showing them their love. This made the McBusted boys smile with emotion, reminding them that they always have their fans and they are loved. They feel that they have Digivolved since their adventure in The Digital World as The Royal Knights watch over them as not only heroes for both worlds but as a supergroup who won’t be brought down by hate and keep on making music for everyone to enjoy.
