McBusted plays Darkstalkers

 Here's a Halloween McBusted based story even though it's 11 days late after Halloween but it would have clash in with the McFly and Busted Adventures Legends of Seven Harmonies Story. Moving on from that, this story is another McBusted plays video game based story, picking a video game that would be fitting for Halloween and the game I've picked for them is Capcom's 2D fighting game Darkstalkers (specifically, Darkstalkers 3 aka Vampire Slayer: The Lord of Vampire). I've been hearing about Darkstalkers from the Vs Capcom series and Project X Zone and had the chance to play them via Capcom Fighting Collection a while back. So I thought I'll write a story about the McBusted boys playing this obscure fighting game that remains a cult classic in a Halloween tournament as hosted by  one of my favourite male model and streamer Scotty Richards as a guest star.

It was the night of Halloween, and the McBusted boys were spending Halloween as a games night. But it was an unconventional games night as they were invited to a games cafe for a Halloween games night.

Along the way, the McBusted boys were dressed up in their zany Halloween outfits. Danny Jones is dressed as an Incubus with a black leather outfit and wings that give him a stylish yet hot and bewitching devilish appearance. Tom Fletcher’s costume is a wizard with the wizard hat, glasses, and wizard cloak to match. James Bourne’s outfit includes a red tuxedo outfit and clown makeup, which gives him a resemblance to The Joker from the Batman series. Charlie Simpson has chosen to dress up as Frankenstian with green makeup and a smart black outfit. Dougie Poynter’s Halloween outfit is a Nekomata with cat-ears, paws, and tail that gives him the appearance of a cat. Matt Willis’ Halloween outfit of choice is a werewolf with wolf-like ears, fake fangs, and paws. Harry Judd has a long black cloak with a scythe, which makes him the Grim Reaper.

“I still can’t believe that we, out of all people, are invited to this Halloween Games night where we’re musicians,” said Charlie, who is perplexed. “Maybe it’s a trick,” suggested James jokingly. “Either way, it’ll be a fun way to get candy. Our invitation does say that we’ll win some candy after all,” said Tom, who is intrigued by the invitation.  “Yeah, let’s enjoy it for the spirit of Halloween,” said Matt brightly. Charlie agreed to this.

They all complemented each other’s outfits. “Wow, Danny, you can seduce anyone, even me,” said Charlie. “Thanks, I’ll be happy to be your bride,” said Danny as they both held each other’s shoulders while facing each other with their direct eye contact. “Wow, Matt, what big teeth you have,” said Tom playfully. “You did a great job with your werewolf outfit,” said Harry. “All the better to eat you, my dears,” said Matt, humouring them, which made them blush. “That Joker outfit of yours is spot on!” said Dougie. “Thanks, tonight is the fine excuse to dress up as him. You make a good Kitty,” replied James. They were all flattered by each of their compliments, which made them blush.

They arrived at the Games Cafe, where they were greeted by social media streamer influencer and male model Scotty Richards, who is wearing a stylish black outfit with a cape and a baton, dressing up like Count Dracula. “Whoa! It looks like we have an interview with the Vampire!” said Danny with astonishment. “Greetings, my fellow young mortals, and I see that you are all dressed up splendidly just as I requested. You boys are all such pretty specimens tonight,” said Scotty slyly, which made them all blush.

He then added, “I’ve been hearing about your music but also your gaming skills, so I invited you all for my tournament, where the game that we shall play that is fitting for this day is Darkstalkers. Dougie said, “Darkstalkers? Isn’t that the game with those boo...” “Yes, Dougie, the rules are simple. We face each other one-on-one, aiming for the top. Each of us will earn some candy, depending on the matches we win while having up to three matches in a best-of-three. Are you all in for the night?” asked Scotty. “Why yes! I’ll be the one who’ll be the champion of this tournament, and the candy will be all mine!” said Harry, bragging as usual. Scotty sets up Capcom Fighting Collection, selecting Darkstalkers 3 (aka Vampire Savior: The Lord of Vampire).

Danny and Harry were the first to be chosen for round one. Danny picked the bewitching Succubus Morrigan Aensland while Harry chose the brooding vampire Demitri Maximoff. “Bet you picked Morrigan because you like to seduce others. Both of you happened to be succubus too!” said Matt, teasing him. “Er, I happened to pick her because she reminds me of our Party Girl,” said Danny, blushing with confusion. “Such a fitting pick considering your role in Nowhere Left to Run,” said Dougie. “No one will have anywhere to run tonight!” said Harry with confidence. “Both of you have the night of your life, duking it out as the main characters!” said Scotty as round one begins.

The first round begins with Danny swooping towards Demitri as Morrigan with her aerial movements, but he misses Demitri, which gives Harry a chance to gain the momentum by drilling into Morrigan using Bat Spin. “You gotta keep your eyes on your target, Danny!” taunted Harry. “That was just a warm-up!” said Danny definitely who fired Morrigan’s projectile attack, Soul Fist. “You’re not the only one who can use projectiles!” said Harry, who then fired Demitri’s Chaos Flame multiple times.

Danny tried to gain the upper hand by moving Morrigan closer to Demitri, but Harry constantly prevented him with Demitri’s powerful close-range moves, including Hell Ride and Demon Cradle. “Ooo, it looks like he’ll be the one dominating tonight!” said Scotty as he was spectating. “Yeah, by spamming,” muttered Tom. “Be quick like me in a marathon or get owned!” bragged Harry. Danny tried to turn this around by using Morrigan’s EX move Valkyrie Turn, but he missed. “You have nowhere left to run!” said Harry, who uses Demitri’s EX Move Midnight Pleasure. Due to the amount of damage that Morrgian took, Danny lost the first match, but that gave him the determination to do better.

“I’m just getting started!” said Danny, who this time dodges Demitri’s moves with Morrigan’s aerial abilities, including Vertical Dash and Dash Swift, having to memorise and predict his attack pattern while dealing swift damage in return when Harry tried to get closer, such as Shadow Blade and Vector Drain. “Hey! Keep still, will you!” cried Harry in frustration. “You gotta get closer to me,” said Danny slyly. “Looks like Danny is becoming a real Succubus or should I say Incubus,” said James. Harry has still proved to be formidable, hitting hard using Demon Blast and Midnight Pleasure when he has the chance. But Danny holds his ground by making use of Darkstalkers 3’s powerful game mechanic Dark Force System which enabled him to use Morrgian’s Astral Vision, a powerful move that can only be used while using the Dark Force System for a short duration, dealing a great amount of damage to Demitri which allowed Danny to win the second match using Morrgian’s Darkness Illusion once Dark Force has worn off.

“Looks like you have fallen by her venomous lips,” said Danny as he and Harry are currently ting. “Oh yeah? I amn’t going down, punk!” said Harry defiantly, who made use of the Dark Force System to use Demitri’s Darkside Master to deal lots of damage to Morrigan. But Danny fights back by stopping Demitri’s tracks using Morrgian’s Shadow Blade, which was followed by Sexual Embrace. They both fought fiercely with their characters’ projectiles, including Soul Fist and Chaos Flame. Harry then charged Demitri towards Morrgian using Hell Ride, only to be opened by Morrgian’s special move, Finishing Shower, which finished him off.

“Now talk about a turnaround!” said Scotty with amazement. “Yayyyy! I’ll win this for both of us, Mush!” cheered Harry. “You'd better keep your word, Mush,” muttered Harry, salty that he lost. As a result, Danny is eligible to move to the next round, with him earning the most candy for his win.

For round two, it was Dougie Vs Matt, with Dougie picking the cat woman with a cute appearance, Felica and Matt picking Baby Bonnie Hood, who resembled Little Red Riding Hood, hiding her dark nature as a hunter. “It’s only natural that I get to pick the cat lady as a cat, but why Little Red Riding Hood?” asked Dougie. “Because humans can be scarier than real monsters at times,” replied Matt ominously. “That is true, needless to say, which is why appearances can be deceiving,” said Scotty.

Dougie makes use of Felica’s speedy movements as expected for a cat woman character to get close to B.B. Hood and dodge her attacks, as shown when Felica hangs at the side of the screen and lunges towards B.B. Hood using a combination of Wall Clutch and Flip Cat. He also continuously uses Felica’s swift attacks, including Dancing Flash and Hell Cat the second, when he’s at close range. “Goodness sake, Dougie, it’s like you’re on catnip!” cried Matt in frustration. “That’s Dougie for you. He’s hyper and unpredictable,” said Tom. “Well, you'd better find a way to turn this around,” said Scotty.

“Indeed I will!” said Matt, who waited for Felica to get closer for Matt to use B.B. Hood’s grabbing move, twirling Felica in a tornado and sending her flying upwards and landing onto the ground using Sentimental Typhoon. “I got you now, Dougie!” boasted Matt, who fired B.B. Hood’s missile projectiles to keep Felica away while dealing damage. “Oh yeah? I shall keep the dream alive!” said Dougie, who uses Felica’s Rolling Bucker to dodge the missiles by spinning and charging towards B.B. Hood. Having sustained damage, B.B. Hood was knocked out. “Just like Sonic the Hedgehog!” said James with astonishment.

Matt was determined to turn this around for match 2 by immediately activating Dark Force System, allowing him to attack consecutively with B.B. Hood’s weapons using Killing Time. “It’s Dougie season!” boasted Matt, who quickly used B.B. Hood’s Cool Hunting, firing large missiles towards Felica, who lost about half the damage. “He makes a scary hunter, like when I cast him as Huxley for my Christmasrus play,” said Tom nervously.

Dougie remained composed and made use of the Dark Force System to use Felica’s Kitty Helper, summoning Felica’s friend to deal lots of damage to B.B. Hood. “Miniature Felica is a good friend,” said Dougie as he moved Felica closer to B.B. Hood to deal quick, close-range damage, including Cat Spike. But Matt had other ideas and said, “Apple for you!” who uses B.B. Hood’s apple-like bomb, which exploded on Felica. Just as Matt was about to attack Felica while she was down, Dougie quickly fought back with Felica’s grabbing move using Toy Touch, sending B.B. Hood to the other side of the stage. “Well, how do you like them apples?” said Dougie as he moved Felica closer to B.B. Hood, but Matt pulled off a sucker punch with B.B. Hood’s Beautiful Memory, slamming Felica onto the ground, almost knocking her out.

“This round shall go to me!” said Matt, who was about to strike, but at the last second, Dougie summoned Felica’s friends using Please Help Me! (As said by Dougie, “Please help me!”). Their combined attacks helped to finish off B.B. Hood. “My cat army shall rule the world!” cheered Dougie. “Now that is disturbing, but hey, that's what friends are for!” said Scotty as he gave Dougie and Matt some candy, with Dougie having the most as the winner of this round. “Guess the hunter has become hunted,” said Matt dryly.

For round three, it was James and Charlie’s turn. James picked a young girl who resembled a Jiang-Shi (aka a Chinese Hopping Vampire), Hsien-Ko, while Charlie picked Jon Talbain, who is a werewolf. “That’s an interesting pick for you, James,” said Charlie. “Jiang-Shis are interesting. You gotta get yourself cultured, men,” said James. “Let’s see who’s the first one to get Busted after Matt,” said Scotty jokingly. James and Charlie rolled their eyes in response.

Jon Talbain has many fast, powerful moves, including Beast Cannon, which allows him to get closer to Hsien-Ko. “Sorry, James, but this one is going to be easy!” said Charlie. But James counters Jon Talbain by using Hsien-Ko’s ranged attacks, including her extended arms or hidden weapons, including Anki Hou (a flying axe) or Senpuu Bu (swinging on a chain) to keep up with Jon Talbain. “Amazing things you can do with hidden weapons,” said James.

Still, Charlie makes effective use of Jon Talbain’s Beast Cannon, firing in all kinds of directions, which makes it harder for James to keep his eyes on him. “Catch me if you can!” boasted Charlie. But James has other ideas, who summoned a pillar of swords that appeared from the ground using Chireitou, which stopped Jon Talbain’s tracks. He then used Hsien-Ko’s grabbing move, tossing Jon Talbain onto the ground after spinning him using Houten Geki. Charlie responded to that by with Jon Talbain’s slicing attack using Moment Slice. Just as Charlie was about to strike again, James said, “You’re gonna get hurt!” and summoned Hsien-Ko’s barrage of spike balls that fell from the sky using Tenral Ha, knocking out Jon Talbain. “Woah! You never know what James is thinking!” said Danny with astonishment. “It’s how I respond to spam,” replied James.

“I wouldn’t call it spam. I call it a technical tactic,” said Charlie defiantly, who is determined to turn this around by instantly activating Dark Force System and using Jon Talbain’s Mirage Body to deal quick damage that was tricky to avoid. But James had a way to counter that by dropping Hsien-Ko’s bomb, known as Chukkadan, which is slow to explode, but he used that to his advantage, with Charlie focusing on using Jon Talbain’s Mirage Body, which allowed him to get hit by the bomb. That took Charlie by surprise, but he quickly fought back by using Jon Talbain’s tossing move, Wild Circular. “It seems that those two punks aren’t pulling any punches,” said Scotty.

“Of course not if I wanna win this!” said Charlie, who launched Jon Talbain towards Hsien-Ko using Beast Cannon. “You think I’m gonna fall for that?” said James, who tossed Hsien-Ko’s Anki Hou. “Well, guess again!” said Charlie, who fired Jon Talbain’s Dragon Cannon, a quick and powerful incoming laser projectile attack that dealt a lot of damage, knocking out Hsien-Ko. “You caught me off guard, alright,” said James, with the two Busted boys are now drawing. “This one could be in anyone’s favour,” said Scotty.

“And it’ll be the one that’ll turn this match into my favour!” declared Charlie as he continued to make use of Jon Talbain’s Beast Cannon to dodge Hsien-Ko’s attacks and deal damage, as well as firing Dragon Cannon. James was in a tight spot, so he used the Dark Force System and used Rimoukon to gain extra power with Hsien-Ko’s twin sister, Mei-Ling, temporarily released from Hsien-Ko, dealing heavy damage to Jon Talbain with a fury of close-range attacks to prevent Charlie from maintaining distance.

“I wouldn’t know what I would prefer to encounter in the dark: a werewolf or a Jiang-Shi?” said Tom as he was watching this. “They both seem scary,” said Matt. The Dark Force System wore off with both James and Charlie using their characters’ tossing moves. They had a few healths remaining. “It’s about time I finish you!” said Charlie, who once again launched Jon Talbain using Beast Cannon. “Not if I beat you to it first!” said James, who uses Hsien-Ko’s Chireitou with the blades hitting Jon Talbain, defeating him.

“Aw man, that was so close!” cried Charlie. “Cheer up, Charlie, you were a worthy opponent,” said James brightly. Charlie agreed to that and they shook hands. “The best kinds of battles are when both sides are evenly matched, which gives me the adrenaline!” said Scotty excitedly, handing over the candy.

For round 4, it was Tom versus the host himself, Scotty. Tom picked the zombie singer Lord Raptor. “Now that’s a fitting character pick!” said James. “Playing as a rock star sounds fun even if he’s a zombie,” said Tom, who is looking forward to playing as him. “Best of luck T-Bag,” said Danny, giving his support while looking him in the eye. Scotty’s choice of character is a tall demon with purple clothing named Jedah Dohma. “I am intrigued to see what you McFly lads, will have to offer. You'd better give me a thrilling match just like for your shows!” said Scotty. “Trust me, I’ll show you what I can do,” said Tom.

It turned out that Scotty is a formidable opponent with a lot of experience with video games as he dealt a huge amount of damage to Lord Raptor in a quick session, using Jedah’s powerful moves, including fast blade projectiles known as Dio=Sega and whirling towards Lord Raptor using Ira=Piano. This causes Tom to struggle to fight against Lord Raptor. “Come on, is that all you got? I thought your gaming skills would match your musician skills,” said Scotty. The other McBusted boys were watching wearily with Tom at a disadvantage. “Oooo, this one looks tough,” said Charlie nervously. “Come on Tom, you got to hang in there!” said Harry.

Tom did not expect Scotty to be this skilled. He tried to get closer to Jedah to limit his range, only for Scotty to use Jedah’s Nero=Fatica, trapping Lord Raptor in a sphere and slicing him with his scythe, much to his and the other McBusted boys’ surprise. “You gotta fight smarter, not harder, which is how come out on top!” said Scotty. “And fight smartly I shall!” replied Tom, who kept his cool despite being under pressure by using Lord Raptor’s charge attacks, including Death Hurricane and Skull Sting consecutively. Although that did a fair amount of damage to Jedah, it wasn’t enough as Scotty used Jedah’s grabbing move, drilling Lord Raptor onto the ground, which KOed him.

“Nice try, but you’re outta my league at this rate,” said Scotty as he moved Jedah towards Lord Raptor. “You may have referenced one of our hits, but I amn’t going down just yet!” declared Tom as he blocked the attack using Lord Raptor’s Death Praise, which involves getting out his guitar. “Alright! Making use of our careers!” cheered Dougie. “If only we could use our instruments like that!” said Tom as he used this chance to use Lord Raptor’s electrical attacks, including Evil Scream and Death Voltage, charging into Jedah.

This was then followed by Lord Raptor using Jedah as a basketball, using Hell Dunk. Although Tom momentarily had the advantage, Scotty was far from out; he activated the Dark Force System, dodging Lord Raptor’s attacks with Jedah hovering in the air while dishing out powerful attacks. “Come on, Tom, you still got this!” said Matt as he and others watched Lord Raptor’s HP quickly depleting with Scotty continuing to overpower Lord Raptor with moves including Ira=Spinta as he grabbed Lord Raptor when he got too close and Speggio while he was blocking him. Being cornered, Tom uses The Dark Force System with Lord Raptor, getting out his chainsaw using Ultimate Undead, dealing a fair amount of damage, but that wasn’t enough with Scotty using one of Jedah’s EX Moves, Provia=Di=Servo, which finished him.

“Oooo, that was a crushing defeat!” cried Tom, with the other McBusted boys shared his pain, having to be easily defeated. But Scotty is a graceful winner and gently said, “Don’t worry about it. You did your best. I happened not to hold back when it comes to gaming, but hey, you, I was impressed with you during the first half of our second match. Use this defeat as a way to improve yourself”. This helped to brighten Tom, who replied, “Thanks, it was a good challenge and I swear that I’ll get you next time,” and they both shook hands with Scotty giving him some candy afterwards.

It was the Semi-Finals with Danny and Dougie up against each other. “Looks like we have another cat fight between the McFly lads,” said Scotty jokingly. “We both may have been the Kings of the Jungle, but this kitty will give you a beat down!” said Dougie. “Nah, our beauty will dazzle you!” said Danny as they were ready to fight with the same characters they had used.

Danny started off with Morrigan’s Valkyrie Turn and once again missed his target. “Just what I expected from you!” taunted Dougie as he used this chance to use Felica’s spinning moves towards Morrigan. “He’s the kind who falls for it every time!” laughed Harry, only for Danny to counter Felica with an extended arm attack using Cryptic Needle. “Nah, I er, planned that,” said Danny, though it was more to do with his quick, impulsive thinking. “You never know what he comes up with,” said Tom. That didn’t stop Dougie from constantly getting close to Morrigan using Felica’s fast attacks, including Sand Splash and Delta Kick.

“This kitty cat is feisty,” said Dougie, taunting him. “Like the one who gets my breakfast,” said James. But Danny makes use of Morrgian’s projectiles to keep Felica away from Morrigan, including Finishing Shower and Soul Fist. “That isn’t stopping me!” said Dougie who used Felica’s Rolling Uppercut to move closer to Morrigan, but that’s when Danny countered her with Morrigan’s Darkness Illusion. This was then followed by Danny using Morrigan’s combo attacks involving her kicks and hair, and then Vector Drain, slamming Felica onto the ground, and earning his win for this match. “It looks like you were lured in by our beauty,” laughed Danny. “That’s what Incubus and Succubus do,” said Matt.

“Alright, no more Mr Nice Kitty!” said Dougie as he and Danny continued to fight each other without giving an inch. Just as they maintained their distance, Danny fired Morrgian’s Finishing Shower saying, “Think you can dodge this?” Dougie bounced off from the side of the screen using Felica’s Wall Cling and leap towards Morrigan using Rolling Scratch. “Does that answer your question?” asked Dougie as he used this chance to deal lots of damage with Felica being a close range, using Hell Cat and Sand Splash. That took Danny by surprise, who countered Felica using Cryptic Needle and firing several Soul Fists from the air. “Nice try, Dougie but you won’t escape!” said Danny as he moved Morrgian towards Felica, intending to use another Darkness Illusion, but Dougie cried, “Please help me!” and used the said move to summon Felica’s friends to defeat Morrigan.

“Well, both McFlys are evenly matched,” said Scotty with surprise, with this match ended in a draw. “It could be in anyone’s favour,” said Charlie. It appeared that match 3 could go either way, with Danny and Dougie not holding anything back as they both rapidly mash buttons for various combo attacks and use the Dark Force System to deal heavy damage. “Now I love a battle where both sides play dirty,” said Scotty slyly. “It’s like a cat fight for which I’m going to be the victor!” said Dougie as he uses Felica’s Rolling Scratch towards Morrigan, only for Danny to strike first using Morrigan’s Shadow Blade, finishing off Felica. “What’s that you’re saying?” asked Danny.

“And there we have our winner!” announced Scotty. “That was a great match Dougie. You make a good Kitty,” said Danny, who patted Dougie on the head as if he were a cat. Dougie jokingly yet affectionately purred in response. They receive their candy afterwards, with Danny receiving the most as the winner. James is up against Scotty. “No hard feelings, but as the host, I amn’t going to go easy,” said Scotty with confidence.  “Be careful, James, Scotty is a formidable opponent, as you have seen with my battle,” warned Tom. “Go for it, I believe in you,” said Matt encouragingly. James was well aware of who he was up against, but he appreciated the support from his bandmates.

Although James had many potential ideas that could catch Scotty off guard, such as using Hsien-Ko’s Chuukada to obstruct Jedah’s movements or swinging towards Jedah while he’s in midair using Hsien-Ko’s Senpuu Bu, Scotty wasn’t fooled as he ruthlessly uses Jedah’s powerful moves while constantly dodging Hsien-Ko’s attacks, as shown when he flew Jedah above Hsien-Ko and dived into her using Jedah’s Ira=Piano and dishing out lots of combo attacks. “And it looks like you’re about to get Busted!” bragged Scotty as he used Jedah’s Ex Move Finale Rosso, brutally finishing off Hsien-Ko.

“Oh, men, he didn’t stand a chance,” said Danny nervously. “Come on, Lad, show him that you’re no pushover!” called Harry. For match 2, it looks as if Scotty is dominating once again as he dished out a lot of combos with Hsien-Ko losing over half of her HP. “Come on, it’s no fun having a one-sided match,” said Scotty as he fried Jedah’s Dio=Sega. “I wouldn’t dream of it” answered James with composure despite being backed into a corner as he countered Dio=Sega using Hsien-Ko’s Henkyou-Ki, much to Scotty and the other McBusted boys’ surprise.

“See? James is a genius,” said Dougie.  “I know, right?” said James, who then used Chuukadan while Jedah was in mid-air. James then activated Dark Force System, using Rimouken for Hsien-Ko to deal extra damage to Jedah. “Alright, James, you are turning it around!” cheered Matt. “Looks like I’m best under pressure,” said James, but he and Matt spoke too soon as Scotty responded to that by using Jedah’s Prova di Servo, finishing off Hsien-Ko and knocking James out of the match.

“Aww, you were so close, men,” said Charlie just after there were moans of disbelief. “Yeah, if only I had reacted sooner,” said James. “I admit that you just about had me back there. I admire your efforts,” said Scotty, shaking hands with him. “Yeah, that was a thrilling match,” said James, earning a bit of candy for his efforts.

It was down to the finals with Danny up against Scotty. He was feeling nervous with Scotty easily defeating Tom and James. He thinks back to Jedah’s moves as he observed the battles from earlier, as it would be crucial for his victory. His bandmates gave him encouragement to steady his nerves with Tom saying, “Go on, Danny, we believe in you.” “You gotta win this as a fellow vocalist and guitarist,” said James. Danny smiled and nodded at them, saying, “Yeah, it’ll be for you both.” “Well, well, you make a handsome, fashionable Prince Charming, but I won’t be swayed that easily, with all the candy will be mine tonight,” said Scotty slyly yet brashly. “Well then, bring it on” said Danny boldly.

It appeared that it was going to be a repeat of Tom and James’ match, with Scotty easily outsmarting Danny by using Jedah’s flight abilities to dodge Morrigan’s attacks, including Shadow Blade and Soul Fist, which gives Scotty an easy opportunity to deal heavy damage with a lot of combo attacks, followed by his grabbing moves, Nero=Fatica and Dio=Sega. It’s as if he can predict every move. “Come on, Danny!” called Charlie as Danny was under pressure. “Don’t get owned!” cried Dougie. With Scotty moving Jedah mid-air, Danny tried to reach him using Morrigan’s Shadow Blade, intending to follow up the attack with Vector Drain, only for Scotty to activate Jedah’s EX Move first, using Prova di Servo, which knocked out Morrigan.

“Oh come on!” groaned Matt. “Come on, Mush!” cried Harry. “What’s wrong? I thought you had it in you as the frontman,” taunted Scotty. “Trust me, it’s not over just yet,” said Danny, who wasn’t giving up just yet, even though the odds were against him for the moment. For match 2, Danny uses Morrigan’s flying abilities to dodge Jedah’s attacks, having to have a better idea of Scotty’s battle style and Jedah’s attack pattern, maintaining distance and blocking attacks. “Dodge all you want, but you’ll only delay the inevitable,” said Scotty mockingly as he moved Jedah closer towards Morrigan. “It’s all for me to buy some time for this!” said Danny, who then uses Morrigan’s Darkness Illusion as soon as Jedah got close, taking Scotty by surprise.

“So that was a trap, huh?” said Scotty, who fired Jedah’s Nero=Fatica, which was intercepted by Danny using Morrigan’s Soul Fist. Danny used this chance to move Morrigan towards Jedah, striking him with many combo attacks. “Come on, Danny! You can’t be stopped now!” cheered Tom.

Just as Danny was about to use Morrigan’s Cryptic Needle, Scotty blocked the attack and struck back using Jedah’s combo attacks. But Danny refused to let up and used Morrigan’s Shadow Blade to counter Jedah, allowing him to successfully use Vector Drain. Scotty responded with Jedah’s Ira=Spinta. “You certainly have the driving energy there!” said Scotty as he moved Jedah upwards to the right side of the screen. “Just like for my shows and right here and now!” said Danny as he fired Morrigan’s Finishing Shower, which dealt a great amount of damage to Jedah, knocking him out, much to the others’ astonishment, including Scotty.  

“That’s our Danny!” cheered James. “Now you have a chance to win this Mush!” added Harry. “Well, now, this is getting exciting. For much, I can’t end it so easily!” said Scotty, with it being down to the wire with both of them are even. They both activated the Dark Force system to deal heavy damage with their special moves without letting up. With both of their fighters’ HP depleting fast, the other McBusted boys were getting anxious watching this intense match. “This could be in anyone’s favour,” said Matt nervously. “I believe in you, Danny, as a fellow Kings,” said Dougie.

Danny felt intense with the match getting closer, but he knew that he had to give it his all with the chance to win. Just as Scotty was about to use another special move, Danny intercepted him with Morrigan’s Soul Fist, allowing him to get closer and use Shadow Blade, dealing a lot of damage with many combo moves while on the air.

“Come on, Danny! Victory is within reach!” called Charlie. Just as Danny was about to execute another attack, Scotty said, “I got you now!” as Morrigan was caught by Jedah’s Finale Rosso, with tensions rising as Morrigan was dangerously running out of HP. “This was fun, but I’m afraid it all comes down to this,” said Scotty as Jedah approached close to Morrigan. “Oh yeah? This is everything I got!” declared Danny, who uses Morrigan’s Valkyrie Turn; this time, it was a successful hit which finished off Jedah, giving Danny a triumphant well well-earned victory with the echoing cheers from his band mates.

“Well done, Danny!” cheered Tom as he and the others embraced him. “You won it for us!” said James happily. “Oh, men, I did it,” said Danny as he was just taking it all in. After his band mates gave him their congratulations, Scotty said to him, “Well, this was an unexpected turn of events, but hey, this makes it all thrilling. For that, I congratulate you as a worthy opponent. You are our winner for our Halloween Games Night,” said Scotty. “Thanks, you have certainly pushed me to my limit,” said Danny as they both shook hands.

Danny was given the most amount of candy, though he shared it with the other McBusted boys and Scotty, as well as saving some for his family. “You know, video games do bring people together, just like with music,” said Danny. “Yeah, win or lose, I have a lot of fun,” said James, agreeing with him. “The fact that this tournament is tied in with Halloween makes it not only more fun but also a creative idea,” said Tom. “It’s a fine excuse to wear our costumes while winning candy and playing video games,” said Charlie. “It’s certainly a treat!” said Dougie. “And the fun kind of trick,” said Matt. “I agree with all of you. We may have just met, but I feel that this has brought me closer to all of you. It’s how video games and special occasions should be,” said Scotty warmly. “You’re right about that. We should do this again sometime,” said Harry. They all agreed to this as they continued to enjoy the rest of the night, having to have a thrilling Halloween that was certainly a treat that brought them all closer.
