McBusted plays Mario Kart World

 I have been playing Mario Kart with my friends, having fun even if I am usually no good at them lol so I thought I'll come up with a quick story staring the boys from McFly and Busted (as joined together as McBusted) playing the latest Mario Kart instalment Mario Kart World, pairing them up with my favourite actors that I've shipped them for their open polyamorous circle (Hayden Christensen, Tom Holland, John Barrowman, Andrew Garfield, Zane Phillips, Zac Efron and Tobey Maguire), playing each of the games' modes and setting up a fun competition for each other. McBusted plays Mario Kart World

It was time for another games night for two boy band friends McFly and Busted, who joined together as McBusted. This time, the game they’ll be playing is Mario Kart World on the newly released Nintendo Switch 2.

Not only that, but they’ll also be playing with the actors with whom they formed a bond, as their partners in a polyamorous relationship. They include Hayden Christensen, Tom Holland, John Barrowman, Andrew Garfield, Zane Phillips, Zac Efron and Tobey Maguire who are paired up with Danny Jones, Tom Fletcher, James Bourne, Charlie Simpson, Dougie Poynter, Matt Willis and Harry Judd respectively.

They gave each other an affectionate hug as soon as they arrived. “Thanks for inviting us for your games night,” said Hayden, who is looking forward to spending time with Danny. “No problem, it’s great that you all made it here,” said Danny, smiling as they looked at each other with admiration. “We’re lucky to have some spare time to get together like this,” said Tom Holland as the two Toms were gazing at each other. “All for a special game night session,” said Tom Fletcher as he set up Mario Kart World. The McBusted boys and the actors sat close to each other.

The plan is that they pick each mode, and the rule that they come up with is that each of the McBusted boys gets to pair up with their respective actor partners, and whichever one wins counts as a point for their team. “Let's win this together,” said Hayden, with Danny smiling and nodding at him. “I’ll do my best for you,” said Charlie. “I believe in you,” said Andrew with their arms wrapped around each other.

“As nice as we’re all together, I’ll be the one who’ll be the king of Mario Kart this time! Not like the last time I played Mario Kart 8 Deluxe when I was robbed!” bragged Harry with his competitive spirit as always. “And I’ll be the one who’ll help Harry to win with the rest of you biting the dust!” said Tobey, who joined in with the banter, taking Harry’s side. “Oh yeah? We two Js will be the best team!” said James playfully, fighting back. “Yep, all of you will be tasting defeat! We’re too fabulous to lose!” said John cheekily. “Nuh uh! You losers will taste blue shell and banana peels tonight!” boasted Dougie. “It’ll be a glamorous victory for me and Dougie!” claimed Zane. “Looks like this is turning into a competition already,” said Zac, watching this with amusement. “I could have a bag of popcorn right about now,” said Matt jokingly.

As soon as Mario Kart World was turned on, they all picked their characters which includes Danny as Rosalina, Hayden as Penguin, Tom Fletcher as Mario, Tom Holland as Luigi, James as Daisy, John as Birdo, Charlie as Peach, Andrew as Toad, Dougie as Yoshi, Zane as Cow, Matt as Cataquack, Zac as Fishbone, Harry as Wario and Tobey as Donkey Kong. “I’ll win as the Star Girl tonight!” laughed Danny. Hayden smiled at his joke. “I must say that they have some unconventional choices for the roaster,” said Zac as he was looking at the character select screen. “It makes me wonder how they drive without any arms,” said Matt, hence both of them picking Cataquack and Fishbone. “Let us win as Mario Brothers!” said Tom Holland as he bro-fisted with Tom Fletcher.

They started off with a simple Grand Prix, picking several courses to choose from. The most popular choice that the majority has voted for is Starview Peak. As the course selection screen was picking the chosen courses at random, Tom Fletcher said, “I have a good feeling that we’ll be racing on Starview Peak!” “There’s no doubt about it!” said Tom Holland, but as it looked like Starview Peak was going to be selected, the random generator went past it and chose Rainbow Road, much to everyone’s surprise but Dougie (who was the only one who picked it). “What? Dougie!” said Charlie in disbelief. “Starting off with a hard track, huh?” said Andrew, dumbfounded. “It has to pick you first!” said Matt. “I happened to have good taste in tracks,” replied Dougie slyly.

As the final course for the Special Cup, Rainbow Road is designed to be a difficult track to race on with lots of tricky turns and edges that are easy to drive off as shown with Danny getting slipped by a Banana Peel as set by Harry, causing him to fall off the edge and John falling into the edge after getting hit by a Red Shell by Tobey while racing on the ramp before he reached to the other side. “Bah! Banana peels are so dangerous! I’m falling behind!” cried Danny jokingly. “Now that was rude!” said John in a light-hearted way. “Should have used your Spider Sense!” teased Tobey.

“Now I am feeling hungry,” said Tom Fletcher as he drove straight towards a Dash Food Bag item that gave him a speed boost that helped to put him in the lead and a Pro Racer Mario outfit as an unlockable outfit.  “It’s just like a McDonald's Happy Meal!” cheered Tom Fletcher. “Now that sounds like a nice treat,” said Tom Holland, who is happy for him. “Except that you shouldn’t eat while driving,” said Charlie jokingly.

Harry was determined to win the first race, so during the final lap, he raced into the item block, which, to his delight, selected the ultimate item: Lighting. “Now taste my lighting suckers!” boasted Harry as the other racers shrank.  “No! Just when I was in first place!” cried Tom Fletcher. “Hey! Just when I was about to make it to the other side!” yelled James. “I had the high grounds!” cried Hayden. “You get back here!” shouted Zane as he and the others were over taken by Harry (although Tobey was cheering for him).

“You all can’t stop me now!” bragged Harry. Tom Holland raced into an item block, which selected the Blue Shell. This item aims for whoever is in the lead, so he knows that he must use it. Just as Harry was approaching the finishing line, he boasted to the others “I shall be the winner with me as the king of Mario Kart!” but it was at that moment when he got hit by a blue shell, allowing everybody else to reach to the finishing line with Tom Fletcher reaching first place, causing Harry to become dead last.

“What? But how?! It’s not fair!!” cried Harry. “That’s what you get for your dirty trick earlier!” said Matt. “I did it for you, Tom,” said Tom Holland, who was happy that he helped Tom Fletcher to win. “You’re my hero, Spider-Man,” said Tom Fletcher, patting him on the head, which flattered Tom Holland.

So they picked the next track for the second race. There were a variety of tracks that were chosen, but Rainbow Road was picked again (there were two Rainbow Roads that were selected by Dougie and Zane). “What? Rainbow Road again?” said Zac with surprise. “Yep, gotta experience the rainbows again,” said Zane, with him and Dougie having a mischievous grin. After racing on the gruelling, colourful track with James as the winner (with him outrunning everyone using the Golden Mushroom and James saying “Gotta go fast like Sonic Racing!”), All but Dougie and Zane picked different tracks, only for Rainbow Road to get picked yet again, much to almost everyone’s disbelief, with echoes of groans.

“We are not going to spend the entire night solely racing on Rainbow Road!” yelled Tom Fletcher. “Can’t help if the RNG Gods smiled upon us!” said Dougie as he and Zane were laughing together. “Guess we got lucky,” said Zane, rubbing it in. With everyone being forced to race on Rainbow Road for the third time in a row, it was John who won this round which him using the Boo item to steal Dougie’s Bob-omb and tossed it at him and Zane. “And may that be a lesson to my boys!” said John, teasing them as he overtook them (although he actually doesn’t half mind racing on Rainbow Road again).

For the final race, Rainbow Road was vetoed (though Dougie and Zane were fine with this, having to troll them long enough), with Starview Peak was chosen. “What a beautiful track,” said Danny as they started the race. “Beautiful as you are, Danny,” said Hayden, who affectionately flirted with Danny, which made him blush bashfully. Despite its beautiful looks, Starview Peak was a tricky course with many twists and turns that made it easy to drive off the stage, with Tom Holland falling behind during the final lap. He also got hit by a Super Horn item by Matt, with the shockwaves hitting Luigi from behind. “Sorry, but first place is mine!” boasted Matt as he and the others drove ahead of him. “Imagine us unleashing powerful shockwaves as this with our instruments, just like with Danny for our One for the Radio music video,” said Dougie. “Ah, I remembered that,” said Danny as he reminisced about those days for a bit.

“I just got to catch up,” said Tom Holland to himself. Lucky for him, he drives into an item block that selects the Bullet Bill. It gave him a much-needed speed boost, knocking over the other racers that were ahead of him. “Whoa, watch it!” cried Danny as he was knocked over by the Bullet Bill. “Watch out for the Bullet Bill!” cried Charlie. “Sorry, excuse me, coming through!” said Tom Holland. “Go for it, Tom!” said Tom Fletcher supportively as Tom Holland was ahead of him. With help from the Bullet Bill, Tom Holland has reached first place. “Well done, Tom!” cheered Andrew. “That’s our Spidey!” said Tobey encouragingly. Tom Holland smiled and blushed with his fellow Spider-Man actors cheering him on and Tom Fletcher supporting him too.

With the two Toms winning the Grand Prix, it was time to go head-to-head in the two battle modes, starting with balloon battle, where they have to hit each other to burst their three balloons and earn points. “This time, I’m going to win and burst your balloons!” declared Harry. “Yeah, you’ll be all snapped, crackled, and popped!” said Tobey, backing him up. “Not if we burst your balloons first!” said Matt, snapping back. “Yeah, we’ll be the ones blowing you away!” said Zac, joining in their competitive banter.

There were eight courses to choose from, which are all selected at random. “I want to battle at Dino Dino Jungle! Dinosaurs rock after all, as said in my book!” said Dougie. “Oh no, we aren’t having another Rainbow Road!” said James, though the track that was picked is Salty Salty Speedway.

Everyone raced around the coastal track, including on the canal, to quickly get to the item blocks to fire at any racers that catches their sight. Danny spotted Zane and tried to hit him with a green shell but he missed. This allowed Zane to hit Rosalina with his Hammers, with him chanting, “Sorry, but its hammer time!” He also hit Charlie and Andrew, who were also nearby, although Andrew got his own back by firing his Red Shell at Cow. “Bet that was a shell shocker for you!” said Andrew, who couldn’t resist coming up with a pun. “Good one there!” laughed Charlie.

Harry’s item was a Blooper, which squirted ink at other players, reducing their visibility and traction. “I can’t see!” cried Danny and got hit by a red shell from Harry. “Sorry, Mush, but I gotta make up for what happened at the first race here!” said Harry slyly. The ink has caused John to bump into a wall, allowing Tobey to hit him with a Boomerang, causing him to be out of the match, having to already lose two points. “Bet I would have had a chance if it weren’t for that meddling Blooper!” ranted John melodramatically. “Well, consider myself lucky that I hit a target while being inked,” said Tobey slyly just before driving into a banana peel as laid by Tom Holland. “Whoops, sorry,” said Tom Holland, blushing. “That’s fine. It’s better than you blabbering a spoiler,” said Tobey, teasing him.

The pressure was on Danny, who had only one balloon left, with a few other racers left. “You can run but you can’t hide, Mushy!” said Harry (he has two balloons left) as he and most of the other racers were going after him. Harry fired his red shell towards Danny, but Hayden drove right in front of it to take the hit. “Go on, Danny, I believe in you!” said Hayden, who cheered him on just as he was out of the match.

Encouraged by Hayden’s words, Danny was determined to turn this around and drove straight towards the item block, which gave him a Mega Mushroom, which made Rosalina bigger, much to Danny’s astonishment and the remaining racers’ horror. “Whoa! Everyone makes way!” said Danny as he drove towards the other racers, squashing them flat. “Aaah! Get away!” cried Tom Fletcher, but Mario got flattered, knocking him out of the battle. “My points!” cried Zac. “You have to give that item when you are at a disadvantage,” ranted Matt just after he got knocked out. “It’s a big turnaround!” answered Danny after he flattered Harry and shrank back to normal size.

Not wanting to lose, Harry drove away from Danny, who drove into another item block and was given a triple green shell. Just as Danny drove closer, he fired two of them towards Harry, who dodged them. “Miss me! Miss again! Try as you might, but you can never hit me with them!” taunted Harry just before he got hit by one, making Danny the winner. “Now that’s a third time lucky!” cheered Danny, with the others cheering for him. “Now I feel salty,” muttered Harry.  Danny and Hayden then exchanged a hug.

They then picked the other battle mode, Coin Runners, where they have to collect the most amount of coins before the time runs out. The course that was chosen was Chomp Chomp Desert, where a Chain Chomp is situated in the middle of the quicksand, lunging at any players who get near it. “Better stay away from that bad boy,” said Tom Fletcher cautiously. “Yeah, it could chomp at you,” warned John.

Everyone carefully collected the coins that were scattered on the sand, but the quick sand that lured them towards the Chain Chomp made it tricky. “No! No! No! No! Nooo!” cried Dougie just as Yoshi slipped into the Chain Chomp after he got hit by a fireball from Tobey, who had a Fire Flower, causing him to lose coins. “My coins!” cried Zane after he lost some coins to a Chain Chomp. “Now that’s Bully Maguire in action!” said Harry. “Guess people are still into that meme,” said Tobey, who smiled mischievously

Tobey also obtained an Ice Flower, which caused the others to temporarily lose control of their karts. “My controllers are messed up!” cried James as he inevitably drove into the Chain Chomp. “It’s just like falling into an Ant Lion trap!” said Zac with his kart inevitably slipping towards the trap. “You can’t stop me now!” said Tobey, grinning who fired more items, including shells and fireballs, towards the racers into the quick sand.

Hayden cautiously dodges the incoming weapons from Tobey and the others, which makes it hectic finding the coins, especially with only a minute left before the timer runs out. “This is why Anakin hates sand,” said Hayden. “It looks like Spider-Man will be beating a Sith Lord!” said Tobey as he was about to fire a red shell at Hayden, but Danny drove right next to Hayden, allowing Rosalina to take the hit as his way of returning the favour for the earlier race. “It’s all up to you, Hayden!” said Danny as Rosalina fell into the Chain Chomp.

Hayden was grateful for Danny saving him, and he used this chance to drive the Penguin towards the item block, which gave him the Star, granting him invincibility. “Now I’m a superstar!” cheered Hayden as he charged into the other racers and took their coins. “Oh no! Darth Vader has become invisible!” cried Tom Holland. “Runaway Penguin on the loose!” yelled Matt as Cataquack was knocked towards Chain Chomp. “Blast! Just when I was in the lead!” ranted Tobey as his track was slipping through the quick sand y. “You have underestimated my power!” said Hayden as he collected the coins.

Thanks to this turnaround, Hayden has earned enough coins to win Coin Runners. Danny and Hayden cheered for each other and exchanged a hug. “That Chain Chomp has put me on edge throughout,” said Charlie. “Yeah, bet I would have dodged it if I had the Peter tingle,” said Andrew.

Afterwards, they had a few more grand prixs (to make up for the fact that Rainbow Road was picked three times in a row), with those who haven’t won before has won each race. That gave Tom Fletcher an idea.  “I say let’s settle this in a Knockout Tour!” he said. Everyone agreed that a thrilling way to determine the winner of Mario Kart World with Knockout Tour involves an exhilarating battle for the top places before being eliminated, racing in six consecutive tracks.

“That sounds like a great idea, Tom!” said Charlie excitedly. “Yeah, I’m going to be the winner with the rest of you lagging behind me!” bragged Harry as usual. “First place shall be mine!” said Tobey with determination. “You both got it all wrong as I’ll be the winner here!” declared Matt. “By orders from Darth Vader, you all should let me win!” said Hayden jokingly. “As King of the Jungle, I’ll be the winner that takes it all!” said Danny, playfully joining their banter. “The King of the Jungle who had a snake on your wiener!” said John, which made Danny blush and everyone howl with laughter.

The Rally that was chosen was Cloud Rally with a variety of tracks starting from Airship Fortress to Great ? Block Ruins. Joined with nine CPU players, everyone was more than ready to fight for first place. “Prepare to be knocked out first!” said Matt with his eyes on Tom Fletcher. “As if I’ll lose to the likes of you!” said Tom Fletcher with a hint of competitiveness.

The Knockout Tour has started with everyone fired out of Airship Fortress’ cannons, sending them straight to the deserts of Shy Guy Bazaar. “Whoa! I’m flying!” said Tom Holland excitedly. As soon as they landed on the sandy roads, everyone was racing to be in 20th place or higher, avoiding being in the bottom four, passing some familiar characters controlled by CPUs along the way, including Baby Mario and Baby Peach. “How can these babies drive?” said James as he raced ahead of them. “Should that be legal?” asked John, humouring him.

As soon as Harry obtained items including Red Shells and Bom-obs, he immediately fired them towards his opponents, both CPU and his friends. “I hate sand!!” yelled Dougie who got hit by two red shells which caused him into the sandpit. “I wouldn’t blame you” muttered Zac. “Ha! I’ll be the champion of Knockout Tour!” taunted Harry, just before he bumped into a camel that wandered onto the track.

“Hey, out of the way!” he cried, which gave most of the others a chance to catch up, including Tom Fletcher, who was dangerously placed 24th because of Harry, but he was lucky to obtain a Golden Mushroom, which allowed him to speed ahead towards the checkpoint in 19th place. Zac, who also trailed behind narrowly, made it to 20th place, saving him from being eliminated.  Matt was currently in the lead.

Dougie and Harry were the first ones to be knocked out. “I would have made it if it weren’t for those stupid camels!” ranted Harry. “This was your fault on top of hitting a camel!” argued Dougie. “Now settle down, children,” said John, teasing them. Zac was determined to do better as he said, “I’m not going to stop, not stop ‘til I get my shot. That’s who I am, that is my plan. Will I end up on top? You can bet on it!”, referring to one of his High School Musical songs. “I can certainly bet on it, Tory Bolton,” said Matt. “Ah, I remembered High School Musical being popular back in the day,” said Danny.

The next track they raced on is Mario Bros Circuit. As one of the earliest tracks in the game, it has a seemingly straightforward layout, yet everyone has to reach 16th place or higher, so the stakes were high. Matt fired several Red Shells from behind to prevent anyone from catching up with him, currently in the lead with Matt saying “Have a bite of my shells!” Tom and Zac were among the racers who got hit by the shells, giving them pressure to catch up. They raced into the item blocks, which give them Triple Mushrooms. “Now that’ll help me out!” said Tom, using them to give his kart a boost. “Not if I beat you first!” said Zac as he used the Triple Mushrooms too.

Tobey has managed to dodge the Red Shells from earlier. “Guess my Spider Sense was tingling!” said Tobey. “I just got lucky,” said Charlie, who also avoided the Red Shells. But they spoke too soon with some Goombas appearing in front of them. “Hey, out of the way!” yelled Tobey. “Road Hogs! Do they not know that we’re in a race?!” cried Charlie as they both bumped into them, allowing Tom, Zac, and other racers to get ahead of them.

By the time Tobey and Charlie had made it past the Goombas, they failed to reach to the checkpoint in time with everyone else beating them. “Well, that’s me out,” said Tobey. “If it weren’t for those Goombas, I would have made it to the top 16!” moaned Charlie. “Cheer up, Charlie, at least you weren’t knocked out as quickly,” said James, teasing him. “I’ll win this one for you, Charlie,” said Andrew, looking at him. Charlie smiled at Andrew, having confidence that he would avenge him.

Those who were placed within the top 16 were racing on the bridge that connects Crown City and Faraway Oasis. Matt was still in the lead with Tom Fletcher, James, and Tom Holland were just about behind him, firing their Red Shells towards him but he used the Triple Bananas as a shield as they orbit around his kart. “Nice try, but this is why bananas are good for you!” said Matt after he laid two bananas on the road. “Oh yeah, we won’t be falling for that!” said Tom Fletcher, who spotted the banana peels in time to dodge them while using a Mushroom to catch up to Matt. “Peter Tingle, don’t fail me now,” said Tom Holland, who used the Feather item to leap over the banana. “I’ll make use of that!” said James, who stole the third Banana from Matt using his Boo, laying it himself.

Danny was near the cars that had Bomb-ombs, firing Banzai Bills and Spike Balls. He fired a Red Shell towards the Bomb-omb car, thinking that it would take it out. However, it caused an explosion upon collision. “Oh my word!” cried Danny as his kart got knocked over by the explosion. Hayden, John, and Zane, who were among the racers that were nearby, got caught up in the blast, which also allowed them to get hit by the Banzai Bills, Spike Balls and a Banana Peel as laid by James earlier. “Did we get caught up in some kind of road rage?!” said Zane in disbelief.

Andrew and Zac have noticed the commotion as they were heading towards it. Quickly, Andrew drove into the item block, which selected the Bullet Bill. He did not hesitate to use it to dodge the explosions. “Sorry, gotta beat this traffic!” said Andrew as his Bullet Bill knocked over Danny and the others. As for Zac, he used a Golden Mushroom to speed past Danny and the others who fell behind because of the traps.

“Phew, just made it,” said Zac as he and Andrew reached the checkpoint, with Danny, Hayden, John, and Zane failing to reach the top eight. “Maybe I prefer Podracing,” said Hayden light-heartedly as his way to handle his defeat. “So sorry about that, this kind of thing happens to me all the time,” said Danny, blushing with embarrassment. “No worries, it happens to be the best of us,” said Hayden gently. “Yeah, I say we did well making it this far,” added Zane. “What happens in Mario Kart stays in Mario Kart,” said John, and the four men laughed.

Among the top eight were Matt, Tom Fletcher, James Bourne, Tom Holland, Andrew, and Zac (and two other CPU players), racing across the savannah in Faraway Oasis. Andrew and Zac were still determined to catch up (with Andrew wanting to win for Charlie and Zac wanting to help Matt to win) while Tom Fletcher was set to beat Matt, who kept on firing weapons from behind.

Along the way, there were Zebras who raced across the field. “Whoa! Zebra crossing!” cried James, who bumped into one of the Zebras. Andrew and Zac were about to crash into them as well, but they made a sharp turn towards the left, which narrowly helped them to avoid the Zebras. James spotted them and sped up using his Mushroom to catch up to them.

Meanwhile, Tom Fletcher got hit by a Red Shell from Matt, who was about to fire another one, but Tom Holland drove in front of it, taking the hit. “It’s up to you, Tom!” called Tom Holland. Tom Fletcher was astonished that Tom Holland helped him to give him a chance to catch up to Matt, but was nevertheless grateful, using the Triple Mushrooms to speed up to Matt.

Andrew, Zac, and James were also catching up, though they had to dodge the Piranha Plants and Ptoolies that popped out of the pipes on the side of the road. Andrew and Zac both got hit by them, but they refused to give up, making use of the Golden Mushroom that they obtained to speed past James and Tom Holland, making it to the top four alongside Matt and Tom Fletcher with Tom Holland and James narrowly missing the top four.

Having to make it to Great ? Block Ruins as the final segment, Matt, Tom Fletcher, Andrew, and Zac were all equally determined to win first place. “I’m surprised you made it this far, but I’m still in the lead!” said Matt. “Oh yeah? There’s no way I’ll lose to you!” replied Tom Fletcher. He then turned to Tom Holland and said, “I’ll make sure that your sacrifice won’t be in vain.” Tom Holland nodded at him. “Well, I’m going to win for Charlie!” declared Andrew, with Charlie cheering for him on.

Just then, Zac fired his ice balls from the Ice Flower at Tom Fletcher and Andrew. “Victory for Matt will be a victory for me!” said Zac. Matt appreciated Zac’s help, adding that his win will also be a win for him. Tom and Andrew were slowed down, but that didn’t stop them just yet with Andrew racing into the item block and obtaining the Flower Boomerang, firing his Boomerang at Zac, which slowed him down. “Bet you didn’t bet on this!” taunted Andrew.

Andrew then tossed the boomerang at Tom Fletcher, but he was one step ahead, using the Triple Green Shells as a shield. “Bet you wished you had Peter Tingle for this!” said Tom Fletcher, firing two of them towards Andrew and Zac, with the former getting hit by one. Tom sped up towards Matt and fired his third Green Shell at Matt. Although he didn’t get hit by one, him avoiding it allowed Tom to momentarily race past him.

“Oh no, I am not letting you get past me that easily, Little One!” said Matt, who fired his Hammer at Tom, which stunned Mario, so Matt got past him. “You’re not going anywhere!” said Tom Fletcher, who sped up and obtained an item from an item block, narrowly getting closer to Matt and both of them getting closer to the finishing line.

They were both bouncing on the bouncy clouds section, with Matt intending to use his Bob-omb on Tom Fletcher. “Now have some bombs!” said Matt but before he gets a chance to select his item, Tom Fletcher said “Have a taste of our sound waves!” who used his Super Horn which knocked Matt’s kart over the edge, allowing Tom Fletcher to reach to the finishing line, making him the overall winner of Mario Kart World.

The others cheered for Tom Fletcher (especially Danny, Dougie, and Harry, with their fellow McFly member winning). “I’m the winner of Mario Kart World!” cheered Tom Fletcher. Tom Holland gave him a hug with Tom Fletcher saying that it’s a win for him too. “Well done to the two Toms!” said Danny praising them. “Now that has a nice ring to it,” said Tom Holland smiling. Matt said to him, “That was fun. Congratulations there. You were a worthy opponent.” “Yeah, we should definitely do this again,” replied Tom Fletcher, shaking hands with him.

“I did all I could for you, Charlie,” said Andrew, who couldn’t help but feel that he let him down somewhat. “Don’t worry about it. The main thing is that you did your very best to make it this far,” said Charlie encouragingly. “He’s right, you turned it around when you were falling behind just like I have,” added Zac. Andrew smiled at them.  

They all then played Free Mode as a fun, relaxing way to wrap things up after a thrilling knockout tour, freely exploring the track as they find objects including P Switches, ? Panals and Peach Medallions with a few more humorous, light-hearted moments along the way including Danny narrowly missing a Peach Medallion and fell off the edge, leaving Hayden to get it for him, much to the amusement of Dougie and Zane who were nearby, Tom Fletcher, Tom Holland, James and John finding  some ? Panels in the most unexpected places, and Charlie, Andrew, Matt, Zac, Harry, and Tobey are all working together to clear a P Switch challenge.

They all then gathered their karts together and took a group photo to commemorate their games night session. “Well, that was fun playing Mario Kart World together,” said Tom Fletcher. “Yeah, we should do this more often,” said Tom Holland. “I’m all for another round,” said James as the McBusted boys cuddled up with their respective partners. “Win or lose, I had a great time,” said John. “We can all agree that video games bring us all together,” said Danny. “You can say that again,” said Hayden as they all exchanged a warm kiss.

It was an exciting games night full of fun and triumph, regardless if they win or lose, and they knew that it won’t be long until they get together again for another fun games night to remember.
