Here's my latest McBusted story which also features Digimon, a monster taming series that I enjoy alongside Pokémon ever since I've been watching the anime during my childhood so I thought I'll come up with a story where the boys from McFly and Busted gets a Digimon partner, featuring Digimon that are part of The Royal Knights and Seven Great Demon Lords who are my favourite Digimon group. So here's part 1 when the McBusted boys have been told to help to save The Digital World after experiencing online hate. Enjoy and be sure to check out the other parts.

Adventures – Knight & Love Vs Demons & hate
Chapter 1 – Escape
into Digital World
Two boy bands McFly and Busted joined together as McBusted have been touring yet they have been having a rough time lately with the amount of hate messages that they have been receiving on their social media. Some of the messages include “Your music sucks! You all can’t even sing!”, “McFly and Busted being together is plain wrong and they are better off separate!”, “Your tickets are overpriced! All of you are sellouts!”, “The fact that the boys are in a polyamorous relationship is icky and cringe if you ask me. They should stick to one partner”, “You should kill yourself for that mistake that’ll cost your career”, “Your songs are not as good. You should consider retiring” and “You let me down so goodbye!”
The McBusted boys felt down with the hate messages. They were all in their hotel room with a laptop on the table, talking among themselves in a sombre tone. “I wish I never made that mistake,” said Danny with guilt. “I get this kind of backlash yet...” said James. “What’s wrong with these people?!” ranted Harry. “It seems that nobody likes us. Maybe we’re better off not touring” said Matt gloomy with the negativity that has made them feel depleted, putting off their tour. “Hate like this makes me want to vanish somewhere a million miles away,” said Dougie.
Just then, as if someone was responding to Dougie, tiny devices appeared in front of them. “Hey, what’s this?” asked Charlie as they grabbed the devices with awe and curiosity. “They look like fancy gadgets from science fiction movies,” said Tom with wonder. The laptop was then glowing as a voice came out of it saying “Greetings; please forgive me for the intrusion but our world needs your help. What those devices that appeared in front of you all are known as Digivices. I request that you show them to the laptop which will serve as the gateway to our world that is in your hands.”
The McBusted boys were intrigued by the fact that they were needed to save another world. “Blimey! It’s as if someone has answered my wishes!” said Dougie with astonishment. “The fact that we’re needed to save another world sounds like an adventure set in store for us,” said James. “So these Digivices are like a one-way ticket,” said Matt jokingly. “So boys, are we all ready?” asked Danny who was eager to go on an adventure. The McBusted boys were all set to use their Digivices to enter another world through the laptop and as a way to take their minds off the hate and negativity that they had been receiving.
Within a flash of light, the McBusted boys were transported to a world that resembled the geography of their world but made up of digital data. The McBusted boys looked around with amazement as they arrived at a valley-like area. “Wow! What is this place?” said Harry with wonder. “This world...looks beautiful” said Tom who was admiring the different kinds of flowers.
They then meet up with a humanoid lion-like creature who says “Greetings, are you this pop band from McBusted? I am Leomon and I am one of the many Digimon who inhabits this world which we call The Digital World. I was the one who requested you all here” “That’s us alright” replied Charlie. “The Digital World? Where everyone is made out of data?” asked Dougie who finds this perplexing. “That’s right, The Digital World is linked to your world’s technology and data but believe me, we are as real as you humans” replied Leomon. “I guess anything is as real as a talking lion or a world made out of data,” said James humorously which made Leomon blush with embarrassment and the other McBusted boys laugh.
Once they brushed that off, Leomon explained the reason why The McBusted boys needed to save the Digital World. Long ago, there was a Digimon named Lucemon who once served as their leader. His ideas and ambitions have helped to inspire many Digimon but his role as The Digital World’s leader has gone over his head and he has become a corrupted tyrant, believing that only the strong have the right to prosper while the weak should either serve the strong or get deleted with him wanting to have absolute control everything.
To that end, he and his followers known as Seven Great Demon Lords have threatened to rule the entire Digital World but they became sealed up in the Dark Area by thirteen powerful Digimon who stood up and rebelled Lucemon known as The Royal Knights who became heroes of The Digital World who duty are to protect the innocent as they watch over their world.
However, The Seven Great Demon Lords were recently released from the Dark Area, corrupting the Digimon to serve them at the cost of their free will and sanity, putting The Digital World in danger once again. The Royal Knights tried to stop them but they failed with six of them becoming imprisoned and seven of them losing their power, de-Digivolving them into their Rookie forms.
“Now this sounds bad” said Matt with concern. “I can’t imagine those poor Digimon being forced to serve by a ruthless tyrant,” said Harry. “I’m glad you have the right idea. As The Royal Knight’s right-hand man who has sworn loyalty to them ever since they saved my life, I was requested to find the right kind of people who have the power to help those Digimon who were once part of the Royal Knights to fully Digivolve into their final forms so that they can stand up to The Seven Great Demon Lords. You all may not be perfect but I believe that your hearts are in the right place to become their partners. Do you think you all have what it takes?” asked Leomon. Having the kindness and heroism in their hearts, McBusted boys did not hesitate to fulfil that request. “Of course, we’ll do anything to save your world,” said Danny eagerly. “We’re ready for an adventure!” said Tom having the spirit of an adventure.
Leomon escorted The McBusted boys to a shelter known as The Celestial Sanctuary where two Angel-like Digimon known as Angemon and Angewoman (who had also served The Royal Knights) are keeping Digimon safe from The Seven Great Demon Lords and where their assigned Digimon partners who are at The Rookie-level were waiting for them.
Danny’s partner Digimon is a small, orange lizard-like Digimon known as Agumon. “I am looking forward to teaming up with you!” said Agumon excitedly who leapt towards Danny who opened his arms to hug him but they ended up bumping into each other with Danny’s butt landed on the floor. “Well you seem like a strong fellow already!” said Danny and they both laughed with each other.
James is assigned with a shy reptile like Digimon covered in a fur pelt known as Gabumon. “It’s nice to meet you Buddy” said James gently taking hands with Gabumon. “Thanks, I may be shy without my fully Digivovled form but I’ll do my best for you” said Gabumon who felt warm by James’ friendliness.
The Digimon that Tom gets to team up with is Veemon who resembles a small blue bipedal Dragon. “Can’t wait to learn all about the Digital World while saving it!” said Tom with excitement and wonder. “And I can’t wait to learn more about you humans” said Veemon who admired Tom’s curiosity and eagerness for an adventure.
“With my tactician and talent, I hope to help you save your world while overcoming any battle” said Charlie who is with his partner Digimon Hackmon who looks like a small dragon Digimon with a cape. “I can trust you to guide me to victory,” said Hackmon.
“I am ready to go Dougie-Mon!” said Guilmon who is Dougie’s partner Digimon with the appearance of a red, tall, bipedal theropod. “Dougie-Mon? That has a nice ring to it” said Dougie who was perplexed yet amused with his given nickname.
“It’s an honour to team up with you and I hope we can get acquainted,” said a small, white stoat-like Digimon known as Kudamon. “Oh yeah, we shall blast those demons!” said Matt excitedly.
“We’re going to be the best partners there is!” said Harry with competitive spirit. “You bet!” said the small, blue fox-like Digimon named Dorumon.
After they got to know each other, Danny said “Oh, we should tell you all that we’re musicians with Tom, Dougie, Harry and I are from McFly and James, Matt and Charlie are from Busted though we joined together as our super group called McBusted.” “A supergroup? That sounds fun!” said Agumon. “Yeah, we should show what we can do,” said Tom as they got out their instruments. “I say we should teach you Digimon some music, starting with ours,” said James. “That would be great!” said Veemon excitedly but before they had a chance to play their songs, Leomon urgently said “I hate to interrupt but we have an emergency. Our sanctuary is under attack!”
Everyone noticed the Digimon that are working for the Seven Great Demon Lords are attacking The Celestial Sanctuary. They come in huge numbers. “If we don’t protect our Celestial Sanctuary, then we won’t be able to protect our Digimon” said Angemon. “Right, we better get out there,” said Matt. “Let’s get ready to rock!” said Dougie who is ready for action as the McBusted boys and their Digimon partners are rushing towards their first battle. “Good luck, only you all have the power to make them stronger and be careful,” said Angewoman.
The minions include several fearsome Digimon including Devimons, Devidramons, Chrysalimons, Snimons, Tuskmons and Kuwagamons plus one Wizardmon. They’re at the Champion level. “There’s tons of them! We better take them all down to protect these Digimon!” said Danny as he impulsively commanded Agumon to attack them who was quick to get into the action, firing his Pepper Breath at them. The other McBusted boys also encouraged their Digimon partners to fight. But with those Digimon at a higher level, they withstood their attacks and took them down with ease. Leomon who is stronger and managed to hold them back by firing a lion head-shaped aura projectile from his fist using Fist of the Beast King said to the McBusted boys “Your Digimon won’t be able to stand as much of a chance without Digivolving. Use your Digivices to Digivolve them into stronger forms.” The McBusted boys grabbed their Digivices with Tom saying “Alright, it’s time to Digivolve!” “We’ll show you how it’s done!” said Veemon.
Use this as the Digivolution theme
Agumon Digivolve into Greymon which resembles a bigger orange dinosaur with a rhinoceros beetle-like shell on its head. Greymon became stronger and attacked by firing a huge fiery shot from its mouth at the Devimons and physically attacking the Snimons at close range using his horn or tail. “Wow! You’re a huge dinosaur!” cheered Danny as he was watching although he nearly got hit by Greymon’s tail by mistake. “Whoops, sorry there! I don’t know my own size!” said Greymon although they both saw the funny side of it and laughed.
Gabumon Digivolve into Garurumon who now resembles a silver wolf with blue stripes. He can chase down his foes with his speed and take them down with his icy breath using Howling Breath. “Now that’s a good dog!” cheered James as Garurumon took down a Devidramon. “Er, thanks there” said Garurumon who was blushing at James’ compliment.
Veemon Digivolve into Veedramon which looks like a larger version of Veemon. Its attacks include firing V-shaped towards some Chrysalimons using V-Breath Arrow Max and punching a Kuwagamon using Hammer Punch. “I say a mixture of projectiles and close-range attacks makes you a versatile fighter” said Tom observing his moves. “Why thanks, it’s good to mix and match!” said Veedramon.
Hackmon Digivolve into BaoHuckmon, resembling a bigger version of Hackmon who has stronger attacks including slashing the Kuwagamons with his claws using Fif Cross and can counterattack at a distance using Blazing Flame which he uses to intercept Devimon’s Death Hand. “Watch out! There’s an incoming attack behind you!” warned Charlie. “Thanks for being my eyes!” called BaoHuckmon who counterattacked another Devimon.
Guilmon Digivolve into Growlmon. He looks like a bigger version of Guilmon who has fearsome attacks such as a flame projectile that he fires from his mouth using Pyro Blaster and physical-based combat moves including slashing and kicking. “Too bad that we have to take down some bad dinosaurs” said Dougie as Growlmon was fighting some Tuskmons. “We have to fight any kind of Digimon, no matter what they look like,” said Growlmon.
Kudamon Digivolve into Reppamon which takes the appearance of a quadrupedel weasel who fights with swift movements including with his tail that he shakes to release a blade of wind using Razor Wind. “We gotta be quick to defend those innocent Digimon!” said Matt. “You got that right!” said Reppamon as he repelled some Chrysalimons with his Razor Wind.
Dorumon Digivolves into Reptiledramon, a metallic dragon-like Digimon who fights with quick close-range attacks including Ambush Crush. “Alright! Together we shall be the strongest there is!” boasted Harry as Reptiledramon took down a Devidramon. “As long as you’re by my side, nothing can stop me!” said Reptiledramon.
There were a few minions left remaining with both bands watching over each other. Wizardmon fired his magical beam attack using Magical Game towards Dougie but Danny spotted it and bravely dived into Dougie just in time to save him while Greymon and Growlmon fought Wizardmon together. “That was a close one but are you alright Dougie?” asked Danny. “Thanks, you are my hero Danny” replied Dougie, grateful for his quick thinking. “I’ll always watch over you” said Danny reassuringly which made Dougie feel safe as they both looked at each other in the eye.
They were about to get attacked by a Snimon as commanded by Wizardmon but Reptiledramon attacked it first using Dino Slash. Harry rushed over to them, saying “I got your back you both,” “Thanks Mush” said Danny who looked at Harry, admiring his heroism. A Tuskmon was about to attack them but it was Tom’s turn to save them who commanded Veedramon to fire his V-Breath Arrow Max. “Right on the mark for me to save you all!” said Tom, looking at their bandmates who is glad for their safety. Danny, Dougie and Harry were thankful to have Tom as the oldest member of McFly watching over them.
Leomon continued to help them out, using his physical combat-based moves. “Good of you to do the hard work too, not like real-life male lions who are lazy” said Dougie. Danny, Tom and Harry laughed at his joke. “Uh, I am just doing my job” said Leomon blushing as he was comprehending the joke.
One of the Chrysalimon was about to hit James with its tentacle using Data Crusher but Matt grabbed him away in time. It was defeated by Garurumon and Reppamon afterwards. “Thanks for that Matt” said James. “I’m always there for you Bud” said Matt with those two looking at each other in the eye, grateful for their rescue and safety respectively. Wizardmon fired his Thunder Bomb at them but they were saved by BaoHuckmon who counterattacked with Blazing Flame. Charlie went over to them and asked “Are you both alright?” James and Matt thanked them for watching over them, knowing that he was there for them Charlie was happy that they were ok.
Wizardmon and a few other minions were attacking their Digimon but they were taken out with help from Leomon. “Now that's what I call a Lion’s Share” said Matt. Leomon wasn’t sure what to make of that remark though James and Charlie found it amusing.
By then, all of the Minions were defeated and the Champion levelled Digimon partners reverted back to their Rookie forms. “You guys did great out there!” cheered Danny. “Doing all the hard work for us?” said Dougie slyly. “Thanks but it was thanks to you all that you have given us the power to Digivolve” said Agumon. “It’s the first step towards reaching our Royal Knights form,” said Gabumon.
Angemon, Angewoman and other Digimon thanked The McBusted boys for helping them to protect The Celestial Sanctuary. “We’re just glad to keep you Digimon safe,” said Matt. Wizardmon went over to them and said “I apologize for my actions. I’m one of the many Digimons who became mind-controlled by Lucemon, using me to command those minions of his.” “That’s ok, we’ll be the ones who’ll free you and the others,” said Charlie. “I’m just glad you’re alright” said Leomon who knew him as a friend. “I thought you were the one controlling them with your magic,” said Harry jokingly. “Please, he would never do such a thing” said Leomon defending him.
To make up for his actions, Wizardmon advised them to go to the Tower of Virtues. It’s where the Virtue Crests are found which he believed are the keys to Digvolve their partner Digimon to their highest level forms, said to be obtained by playing a special song. The song is also said to achieve the power to achieve further Digivolution. “A song? We are boy bands who have played some special songs before” said Tom with interest. “But I must warn you that it’s guarded by more mind-controlled Digimon who have turned into ruthless machines” said Wizardmon. “We better go there right away!” said Leomon and they all made their way towards The Tower of Virtues with Wizardmon giving them directions.
