Here is a Christmas story that I came up with for two of my favourite boy bands McFly and Busted, joined together as McBusted, featuring their fan and friend Dominic, Star Wars actor Hayden Christensen who I've shipped with Danny Jones from the previous story and other actors that I'm into including John Barrowman, Zane Phillips, Tom Holland, Andrew Garfield, Zac Efron and Tobey Maguire, giving the other McBusted guys their own actor shipping, Prince William (also my crush since childhood) and Princess Kate.
The McBusted boys were invited by Prince William and Princess Kate to a Christmas event where they meet up with Dominic, Hayden Christensen and other actors. They have to help Prince William and Princess Kate to find the missing presents for the children. Enjoy and wishing you a Happy Christmas.
McBusted Saves Christmas
It was the time of year when families got together for the festivity with presents to be exchanged and lighting that brightened the winter’s night. Two boy bands McFly and Busted joined together as McBusted were certainly feeling the Christmas festivity with them being invited to perform at a Christmas hosting based event known as Winter Wonderland, hosted by The Prince and Princess of Wales William and Kate with the money going towards various charities including for homeless people.
It’s an event where Christmas-themed events are held, including activities for younger children, parties for adults, food stalls with the aroma spreading throughout the streets, and lighting displays with Christmas-based models, all designed to give everyone the Christmas spirit.
“It’s great that we as a supergroup are invited to spread the holiday cheer and we better do our bit to be Santa’s Little Helpers!” said Tom Fletcher excitedly as they prepared for their show. He is a big fan of Christmas (he was also invited to read his Christmasaurus stories to children as part of the event). “Yeah, it makes me smile to see everyone brighten up with the Christmas festivity” said Danny Jones who is looking forward to being part of the event but also seeing someone special. “So we better do our bit to be on the nice list” said James Bourne joking around.
Soon enough, it was time for McBusted’s performance where they sing their Christmas cover songs including Walking in the Air by McFly, Hark! The Herald Angels Sings by Busted and All I Want for Christmas is You by both bands as McBusted. Their high-energy performance has got the crowd going. Among the crowd was Star Wars actor Hayden Christensen who they have met before. Danny and Hayden had their eye to eye with each other having to form a close relationship with each other. Danny was really happy to see the man who brought Anakin Skywalker to life watching their performance again while Hayden was smiling, having the time to see Danny on stage, seeing his talent as the frontman, getting the crowd going. There were other actors who had their eyes on the McBusted boys too, admiring their talent. Their fan and friend Dominic is also part of the audience. He couldn’t pass up the opportunity to see his favourite band at Winter Wonderland after all.
Afterwards, the McBusted boys meet up with Dominic at the after-party. “You all did great with each of your Christmas covers giving me the festive feel” said Dominic happily as he was still holding onto his excitement from their performance. “Good for you you be here too” said Danny who was happy to see him. “Yeah, as with you all too Winter Wonderland is helping for a good cause, raising everyone’s spirits this year” said Dominic. “I concur, good to help out those who need it during Christmas” said Matt Willis. “It feels good to do our bit to spread happiness for Christmas” said Tom smiling.
The McBusted boys and Dominic were exchanging their gifts and cards. One of them was a Christmasaurus plush as given by Tom. It was almost the same size as the Christmasaurus. “Thanks Tom, been reading those Christmasaurus stories of yours” said Dominic.
They then spotted Hayden Christensen who went over to them. Danny and Hayden exchanged a hug and a kiss. “Hayden! It’s lovely to see you here!” said Danny happily. “Never thought that we would get to meet up here, it must be a Christmas miracle!” said Dougie Poynter exaggerating as always. Hayden smiled and said “I happened to have free time and just couldn’t pass up the opportunity to bring myself here when I heard that you all will be here, especially you Danny.” This made Danny blush. Dominic was surprised to hear that they knew each other having to be a fan of Hayden too. Danny introduced Hayden to Dominic who was star-struck.
There were more guests who went over to them. A lively voice that came from an excited fanboy said “Hey! Aren’t you all McFly and Busted joined together as McBusted? That show of yours was amazing!” They turned and much to their surprise, it came from Spider-Man actor Tom Holland who is with two other Spider-Man actors Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire. “Holy Cow! It’s the three Spider-Mans!” exclaimed Tom Fletcher who was star-struck. “The greatest crossover is coming to life!” said Charlie Simpson with his eyebrows widened. “So what brings you Spider-Mans here?” asked Harry Judd.
“We are fans of you all” answered Tom Holland. “He’s right and we happened to arrange the time to spend together this Christmas” said Andrew. “Something that we don’t get to do as often since our time during No Way Home” added Tobey. “Well, it’s astonishing for the three Spider-Mans to be a fan of us!” said Tom Fletcher excitedly. “Yeah, your high energy really does bring the festive mood” said Tom Holland looking at Tom Fletcher. “You’re Charlie Simpson are you? I liked the way you keep the crowd going as Busted’s frontman” said Andrew. “The way you keep synching with your drums is pretty impressive” said Tobey. Tom Fletcher, Charlie and Harry couldn’t help but blush with their compliments.
Just then, someone said in a merrily voice “Well if it isn’t the fabulous McBusted Lads!” The voice came from John Barrowman who they were familiar with having been in one of his shows before. “Captain Jack Harkness?” said James as his way to express his surprise. “And who are you?” asked John casually, referring to his character’s catchphrase as his way of flirting although even James couldn’t help but blush.
He was followed by two other actors; Zane Phillips and Zac Efron. “Looks like he brought along Chad Addison and Troy Bolton along” said Dougie joking around. “Dougie, they’re the real deal Zane Phillips and Zac Efron!” said Matt Willis sheepishly. Zane laughed in amusement and said “We just wanted to express our support for your spectacular performance.” “Yeah, the way each and every one of you gives it your all amazes me” said Zac.
“Yeah, the way you sang the Christmas songs is like an angel like Hark himself” said John looking at James. “Well that’s one way of putting it” said James trying to sound casual yet he was flattered. “So you’re Matt Willis? Been watching how you go all out with your bass which makes you talented” said Zac who is with Matt. “Thanks, it’s like a journey of my own” said Matt who couldn’t help but admire Zac’s compliment. “So Zane, are you looking glamorous tonight?” asked Dougie who couldn’t help but gaze at Zane’s biceps. “I can assure you that I am for this occasion” answered Zane who appreciated his humour.
And soon, the McBusted boys, Dominic (who was surprised to see more actors he knew at the event) and the actors were exchanging small talk with each other having to be gathered here for a Christmas event. Dominic offered to take selfies for them to remember this meetup. It’s like they were led by the star that guided the three wise men. Someone happened to be passing by and said to themselves “So they are enjoying Christmas too? I’ll show them not to enjoy this one day”.
McBusted and the others then heard the cries of children. “Sounds like something is wrong” said Charlie Simpson with concern. “Yeah, I hate to see them crying for this time of year” said Andrew worriedly and they all rushed over to where the cries were coming from. They have found Prince William and Princess Kate who were both distressed as they were with some crying children.
“Excuse but what happened?” asked James Bourne. “This is terrible. The children are meant to receive presents from Santa but they have gone missing” replied Prince William with guilt having to bear the burden of responsibility. “We wanted to give the children happiness but now it’s all ruined” said Princess Kate sadly. “Oh no!” I cannot express how awful this is!” cried Dominic feeling sorry for them.
The McBusted boys decided to help calm down the children by singing them their Christmas song ‘All I want for Christmas is you’. Their mystical vocals have helped to soothe the children, clapping for them. The actors, Prince William and Princess Kate were enchanted by their voices too.
“Thanks for your singing, you were all amazing like back on the stage” said Prince William and he and Princess Kate were admiring the McBusted boy’s talent and very presence that charms them. The McBusted boys were also star-struck to see the two beautiful royals with Danny saying “It’s an erm, an honour to be invited and to er, help out too” though his words were flustering while he was gazing at Prince William’s handsome appearance.
“It’s a pleasure to see all of your talent. Still, we need to find whoever has stolen those presents” said Princess Kate. Tom Fletcher had an idea. “Please, let us be your Little Helpers and find their presents” he said. The others were thinking of the same thing. “Yeah, I can be Spider-Man for the night and save their Christmas!” said Tom Holland. Both Royals were delighted with the idea. “We would be very grateful for that!” said Princess Kate. “Yes, that would be a big help!” said Prince William.
The plan of action was for the McBusted boys and the actors to split into groups to find the presents while Prince William and Princess Kate checking the security monitors and exchanged their numbers as his way to help and Dominic volunteered to supervise the children, reading them Christmasaurus stories to keep them occupied.
Each of the teams found footsteps that led to various places that they followed. Danny Jones and Hayden Christensen followed the footsteps that led them to an area where some lighting displays that resembled huge penguins got smashed. Some presents were scattered about near the broken lighting models which appeared to be undamaged. Both Danny and Hayden were displeased to see a beautiful sculpture that got smashed. “What a shame to ruin such a beautiful display” laments Hayden. Danny tried to maintain his optimism and said “Let’s clear away those lighting sculptures so that we can get to these presents safety.” Hayden appreciated Danny’s calmness and he helped to lift the broken pieces out of the way, taking care not to touch any sharp edges.
Hayden gazed at Danny’s huge biceps as he lifted a penguin's head. “Couldn’t stop having my eye on your arms during your show back there” said Hayden flirting with Danny. Danny blushed and said “Thanks, this is giving us a workout with all the lifting” said Danny who placed the penguin's head out of the way. Hayden smiled with Danny brightening up the situation like the lighting sculptures. As Danny was carrying one of the flippers, he almost tripped over a flipper but Hayden spotted it in time and told him to move to the left so that he could avoid tripping over it. Danny was grateful for Hayden watching over him.
As they cleared more of the broken pieces for them to reach the presents, Hayden asked Danny “Have you always been this cheerful?” “I always try to make others happy but the truth is, I don’t always have it easy mentally” answered Danny as he found himself to be open with him. “What do you mean?” asked Hayden.
“I have been going through anxiety issues like the first time when I was 19, I had a panic attack live on TV. I couldn’t answer the questions I was given” admitted Danny. Hayden couldn’t imagine how Danny must have felt as he was listening closely with empathy. “It carried through me with my work and when my Father left my Mother, forcing me to grow up quickly so that I can be the Father figure to my family. I have been to therapy because of all of this” added Danny whose voice was struggling to maintain composure as he was talking about his painful memories.
“All of this at a young age...that must have been hard” said Hayden who felt sorry for him. “Yeah, it still pains me now” said Danny as he couldn’t help but to cover his eyes with tears. Hayden gently consoled him by holding on to him as he let his emotions out. After a few seconds, Danny took a deep breath and said “I apologise for that”. “There’s no need to apologise, it’s good to let it out. I know that you are working on your healing journey and I’ll be right there with you whenever you need the light” said Hayden softy. Danny smiled at Hayden, seeing him as a Father Figure; just like Barry McGuigan who he met from I’m a Celebrity.
Having to listen to Danny’s story, Hayden has decided to share his issue with him. “Even I don’t have it easy myself. Earlier today, I had some people calling to me saying that I ruined Star Wars by playing as a terrible Anakin and always will be. I can’t help but let this dampen the mood for Christmas. It made me remember when I first started playing as Anakin, I received a lot of hate from fans who didn’t like my acting, saying that I’m not the Anakin that they were expecting and that I’m a terrible actor. There are also those who didn’t like my character took it out on me even though I only acted the way I was told. Well I have been better received with more fans appreciating me but still back then, it makes me wonder if I should take on my dream as an actor with people dragging me down. I try to do my best, based on the direction I was given yet I can’t help but care about what people think of me. Maybe at times, it’s better if I take a step back from the big screen just to please those who don’t want me and my acting” said Hayden sombrely.
“Hayden, I’ve been watching you play as Anakin and you’re anything but what those people have been saying. I was captivated by your compelling acting throughout and anyone who says otherwise, then it’s their problem, not yours. You deserved better and no one could have done a better job than you; only you get to decide on how you live your life” said Danny sincerely with his hand on his shoulder. Hayden smiled at Danny’s kind words and wisdom. Both men looked at each other in the eye with their lips drawing closer as they gave each other a tender loving kiss. The warmness within their love for each other has made them feel a lot better. Afterwards, Hayden said “Thanks Danny, you make a wise Padawan.” Danny gave him a big handsome smile.
The two Toms followed the footsteps that led them to the Christmas Tree in the hallway that was caught on fire. They were horrified by such sight. “Blimey! Who could have done this?!” exclaimed Tom Fletcher. “We got to stop this fast!” called Tom Holland. Luckily, they have spotted two fire extinguishers. Without hesitation, they ran and grabbed them.
“Looks like I’m going to have to be Spider-Man who’ll save Christmas!” said Tom Holland as he quickly turned on the fire extinguisher. “Let me be your sidekick Spider-Man!” said Tom Fletcher helping him out. “Sure, you can be part of the Avengers for the day!” said Tom Holland. Both Toms smiled at each other, finding the fun side of the otherwise hectic situation.
Both Toms helped each other out with Tom Holland spotting a present nearby Tom Fletcher and telling him to put out the fire before it reached the gift while Tom Fletcher in return sprayed the foam near Tom Holland when a fire was about to reach him. With their swift action, they managed to put out the fire and save the presents that were dropped nearby, helping that they found the Christmas Tree when it was recently set on fire before it could spread. Both Toms appreciated for their help.
“We did it Spider-Man!” cheered Tom Fletcher in triumphant. “You make a great side-kick!” said Tom Holland happily as they find themselves linking each other, finding themselves comfortable being next to each other. They both took notice of the burnt Christmas Tree. Although they were lucky to put out the fire in time, the tree was still badly burnt. Tom Fletcher couldn’t help but frown at the sight of it and said “It’s despicable to burn such a beautiful Christmas Tree. Whoever is trying to ruin Christmas will pay!”
Tom Holland looked at Tom Fletcher and said “I understand how you feel but the most important thing is that we were there at the right time before the fire caused any more damage with no harm done”. Tom Fletcher smiled with Tom Holland’s rationality and optimism which helped to calm him down. “Thanks, I needed that. You sure know how to brighten someone’s spirits just like Spider-Man would” replied Tom Fletcher.
This made Tom Holland blush and said “...Thanks. Happy to have pleased you.” “Huh? What do you mean?” asked Tom Fletcher. Tom Holland was surprised that he let that slip out. “Oh er...the truth is, I was scared myself, worried that I made the wrong impression in front of someone I admired. That’s why I quickly spring into action, hoping I would be worthy enough to be a real-life hero” explained Tom Holland who felt uneasy. Tom Fletcher reassured him and said “I understand but there is no need to. I was scared myself considering this situation. Why, I’m still star-struck meeting you!”
This made Tom Holland smile for a moment and said “Thanks, I’m always worried if I please others, which is too much for me at times like lately, I’ve been trying to arrange meeting my loved one for Christmas but I was having trouble finding the right schedule because of my work. I only got lucky to meet up with Andrew and Tobey for this” before he felt a bit sad. “Don’t worry about it. I say that you make a great Spider-Man just like now” said Tom Fletcher softy. This made Tom Holland smile at him.
Tom Fletcher then said “You know what Tom, Christmas means a lot to me with it being my favourite time of the year. Seeing someone who tries to ruin it for everyone really gets to me. Without you, I could have lost it like I have back when I had bipolar, taking it out on my band.” Tom Holland felt moved to hear that, knowing that he had helped someone. “That sounds tough. If you ever lose your way, then I’m here to help out as your friendly neighbourhood” said Tom Holland sincerely. “See? You truly make a great real-life Spider-Man!” said Tom Fletcher happily. “Guess we do make a great team!” smiled Tom Holland. “We should call ourselves Tom Squared!” said Tom Fletcher and they both laughed, finding themselves cuddling together, followed by giving each other a warm kiss. After that tender moment, they went over to the presents.
James Bourne and John Barrowman found themselves in the canteen area where they were food including the turkey and roast potatoes scattered about on the floor. The chairs, tables and tablecloths all collapsed on the floor as if an earthquake has struck. The guests were unhappy with their dinner ruined and the chief were angrily with their work sabotaged. “What a mess” muttered John Barrowman. “Sounds like we gotta do some Spring Cleaning” said James. “In the middle of Winter?” asked John with surprise. “Er...whatever we call it though we do cleaning at any time of year anyway” said James who happens to come up with witty comebacks on a whim but John nevertheless appreciated his humour as they helped the guest and staff cleaned up the mess.
They happened to find some gifts that were scattered about. “My, this looks like a treasure hunt!” said John jokingly as he picked up a present. “Well then, maybe we should see who can find the most treasure” said James, turning this mission into something fun. “I’ll accept this challenge!” said John as this helped to get them motivated, finding gifts and leftover food twice as fast, exchanging some witty humour along the way. “Looks like this treasure has gone cold turkey” said James who picked up a roasted turkey. “I must be going crackers with those bent-up crackers” said John.
Their humour has helped the other people to lighten their sprits. It’s like watching a comedian show. James and John has asked if they have seen anyone responsible for this but they didn’t have the answer with some saying that it happened when they had their eyes off their food.
After they searched the entire room, finding as many gifts and cleaning up the food, they both exited the canteen area for a private moment with John saying to James “You still have the wittiness since last time.” “Thanks and I bet you've been up to all kinds of fun since then” said James. This is when John’s expression becomes more serious and said “Actually, I haven’t been great lately”. James was surprised but he went over to listen. John told him that he had been accused of misconduct which was a well-intended prank during a set long ago, something that he wouldn’t do in this day and age with him having to learn and change since then. As a result, he has fallen into depression with suicidal thoughts. If that wasn’t bad enough, his loved ones are sick or are away on holiday so he’ll be alone this Christmas.
James felt sorry for him. “I’m sorry that this has gone out of proportion when it’s all in the past. People should focus on the person you are now and you deserve better. It’s like me back during the McBusted days when McFly fans were accusing me of taking away McFly just because they didn’t like McBusted. Even now, I do get some people who get me wrong on social media. I try to mean well but I seem to rub others the wrong way” said James. “I guess it’s something that we both have in common in a way” said John. “Mate, I believe that you mean well even if no one else would” said James reassuringly.
“Thanks, I guess I no longer feel alone as much. For that, I’m here if you need someone to back you up” said John. James was grateful to hear someone who believed him too. They both find themselves holding their arms and looking at each other in direct contact. Their presence made them feel safe while enjoying each other’s humour, to the point that they were comfortable exchanging a kiss.
Charlie Simpson and Andrew Garfield found a donation box that got broken in with the money stolen. Next to it were some presents that were dropped and a few money that were left behind. They frowned at the sorry sight. “Stealing presents is one thing but they have some nerve to steal the donations that are meant to go towards the causes” said Andrew with disapproval. “Sounds like we have a real-life Grinch. Still, we better do our bit” said Charlie trying to be rational while still showing condemnation for this petty act. “You’re right, just like a real Spider-Man would. I gotta do what a Spider-Man can after all” said Andrew who appreciated Charlie’s calmness while Charlie in return was charmed by Andrew’s witty sense of humour.
As they were picking up the coins and the gifts, Charlie and Andrew chatted among themselves to get to know each other more. “So Charlie, have you ever been so sure with yourself being in Busted?” asked Andrew. “The truth is, it wasn’t always like this way with me being disillusioned with being defined as a Pop Punk band. I wonder if this is truly the right path for me. This led me to disband from Busted to focus on being in this other band and my own career. I guess this is what I needed to realise that Busted is meant for me regardless of labels, making me closer to my bandmates” answered Charlie with full honesty.
Andrew was amazed to hear this side of Charlie. “Oh wow, I can relate to you in a way. I was like an angsty kid who didn’t know what to do with myself. I tried various sports activities but I gave up on them. It was like being lost in life until my Mother suggested trying creative-based hobbies which led me to theatre school and the rest is history” said Andrew.
This has inspired Charlie, hearing Andrew’s history. “It seems that we are alike in a way. You have your Mother to thank” said Charlie. “Yeah, except that she’s…no longer with me” said Andrew whose voice was wobbling. Charlie was shocked to hear that, feeling guilty that he unintentionally upset him. “I’m sorry to hear that. I’m sure that your Mother would be very proud of how far you have become as shown by the movies that captivated hearts” said Charlie reassuringly.
His consoling has made Andrew feel better. “Thanks, I know she is still watching over me and I believe that this soul searching has helped you to get where you want to be” said Andrew. Charlie was moved by his words too. Their heart-to-heart has brought them closer than ever and they moved nearer to each other and exchanged a kiss, melting away any doubts and grief they have.
Dougie Poynter and Zane Phillips have found an ice stake arena with the presents on the other side. “Looks like we have no choice if we want to save Christmas” said Zane. “Guess this is what we call Dancing on Ice” said Dougie. Zane smiled at Dougie’s quirky and charming humour. They put on some ice stakes and staked onto the ice rink.
It turned out that Dougie wasn’t good at ice staking and struggled to maintain his balance. He was about to fall but Zane grabbed him just in time, holding him with his huge arms. “Thanks for being a gentlemen rescuing a damsel in distress” said Dougie who admired Zane’s bravery. Zane was glad to help him with his quick thinking yet he couldn’t help but be charmed by Dougie’s mannerisms. He continued to guide Dougie to the other side to get to the presents. Zane’s guidance made Dougie feel safe.
After that, Dougie said to Zane “You were strong and brave back there. I don’t think I would become a professional ice skater any time soon” said Dougie. “Yeah, I have to as an LGBTQ+ individual with me inevitably facing persecution just because of my sexuality. It’s pretty tough at times, constantly having to fight for rights that are at stake and being in an environment that rejects you for who you are at times” said Zane admittedly.
“Yeah, I am aware that people still get frowned upon just because of who they love but hey, I am willing to stand up for your rights by your side anytime” said Dougie. Zane felt reassured having an alley. “It’s good to have someone bubbly like you” said Zane smiling. “Thanks, except that I’m not always like that” said Dougie who explained the times when he went downhill with his relationship, almost taking his own life and taking drugs, causing him to end up in rehab twice.
Zane expressed his support to Dougie having to hear his heavy-handled stories, hugging him. “It was brave of you to share this with me. I hope it has helped you for the better and I am there for you when you need it. Dougie once again felt safe in Zane’s arms embracing him and comfort and Zane was happy for Dougie’s courage. They couldn’t resist exchanging a comforting kiss with each other. Afterwards, Dougie said “I guess it's true that nerds seeks jocks", much to Zane's confusion.
Matt Willis and Zac Efron have found some food stalls that were vandalised including food and equipment were knocked over. The cookers were not happy having to clean up their food stalls. “Have any of you identified the one responsible for this?” asked Zac. “No, most of us were on our break and only just came back to find that someone had messed up our food stalls” replied one of the male chiefs. “It happened within a blink of an eye” answered one of the female chiefs. “Here, let us give you a helping hand” said Matt and he and Zac volunteered to help them to clean up the mess and repair their food stalls. Along the way, they have picked up some presents that they have found next to the food stalls.
The chiefs were very grateful for their help once they had finished. Matt and Zac left them to have a private moment with each other. “It felt good to help them out and I say you and I make a good team” said Zac, looking at Matt. “Yeah, it’s just like reaching out to other people whenever they hit rock bottom” said Matt. “Ah, I have been at my lowest point in life even with my fame” said Zac. “You have? Would you mind telling me about it if that’s alright?” asked Matt looking at Zac as he was prepared to listen.
Zac explained the times when he was going through mental struggles including depression, his addiction to alcohol and drugs and has broken his jaw which caused his face to swell due to an injury. Matt was surprised to hear all of this from him. Having to go through a similar struggle, it was his chance to help him out by sharing his experience. “Mate, I know what it's like. I’ve been through addiction to drugs and alcohol just like you. I ended up in rehab, only to get back in after a relapse. It tore my family and I nearly lost myself. That’s why I made this documentary about my addiction in order to understand myself more and to help those who have been going through the same as me.”
Zac was astonished yet moved to hear someone that he could relate to but also coming up with an inspiring way to get better. “I’m amazed to hear how you are willing to share your story to not just raise awareness but also as a way to resonate with others. It’s the kind of shows that I would need in my life” said Zac. “Thanks, I hope that being part of these documentaries will help others going through addiction and if you ever need someone to help you out whenever you’re struggling in anyway, then I am happy to be there for you” said Matt reassuringly while gazing at him. “I sure could use someone like you” said Zac looking at him directly. Having to gone through similar paths as each other, they were happy to show their love for each other with a kiss.
Harry Judd and Tobey Maguire found some gifts that were right next to a food bank donation box with some of the food shattered about on the floor or stolen. “What a disgrace” said Tobey with disgust. “People have made the effort to donate food that’ll help to feed families over Christmas, just like how Winter Wonderland is supposed to help for various charities yet there are those who spoil it for others” he added. “I hope whoever is responsible will be given a lump of coal by Bully Maguire this Christmas” said Harry.
His humour has helped Tobey to smile, putting his concerns aside. “I guess I’ll clean things up, just like Spider-Man” said Tobey. “Sure, let’s see who can find the most presents and pick up the most food first” said Harry, turning it into a fun competition. Tobey accepted his challenge and they darted across the room to be the first to win. After a couple of minutes, both Harry and Tobey picked up the two remaining baked bean tins, having an eye-to-eye as if they were rivals. They dashed towards the donation box and placed the tins at the same time, making it a draw.
“Well, I guess we’re even. For now” said Harry. “I must say that you do know how to make it fun” said Tobey, admiring his spirits. “I know, I figured it’ll be a way to defuse the tension of this situation and as a way to get fit, just like for my book, Get Fit Get Happy” said Harry. “Indeed, it is important to get fit” said Tobey concurring with him. They then shared their health and fitness-related stories with Harry saying that he got into fitness as a way to deal with his anxiety and OCD-related issues as he described in his book while Tobey admitted that was an alcoholic but has since become sober years ago.
“I can only hope that I can inspire others with my journey” said Harry. “Yeah, I certainly can’t go back” said Tobey. They were both empowered to talk with someone who understood their experience while enjoying each other’s company. For that, they both leaned forward and became comfortable kissing each other.
During each time when The McBusted boys bonded with the actors, someone was watching them and said to themselves “...I wish I had someone to love me” before they made a getaway.
By the time The McBusted boys and the others have found the missing presents, Prince William and Princess Kate have made contact with each of the boys, saying that they have spotted the mysterious thief on the security cameras and are making their way towards the concert room where they had their performance. They all rushed there and found a man who resembled a thief.
“Stop right there! You were the one who were stealing the presents for the children are you?!” demanded John. “We also noticed that there were some damages and other thefts throughout this event. Were you responsible for this?” added Tobey. “So what if I did? I am the modern-day Ebenezer Scrooge and I shall teach you to celebrate the one day that’ll only bring pain, stress, misery and corruption!” said the thief. “But don’t you know that by stealing other presents will hurt others?” asked Harry. “I get that there maybe some difficulties during the holidays but this is wrong! Winter Wonderland is supposed to help bring the joy to everyone and you’re ruining it!” cried James. “That’s the trouble when you all get obsessed with the one day! I shall make everyone not celebrate Christmas and you all can’t stop me!” said ‘Ebenezer Scrooge and made a run for it.
Prince William and Princess Kate have told the McBusted boys and the others where ‘Ebenezer’ was heading by watching the security cameras which gives them a head up to where he is running. They all worked together to track down ‘Ebenezer’ and to prevent him from making a getaway.
Danny and Hayden found ‘Ebenezer’ near the lighting display who tore off some bulbs and tossed them towards Danny and Hayden but they were able to catch them with their strength and agility, telling each other where the lighting bulbs were falling. Their teamwork has helped to prevent the bulbs from being damaged or being tossed at themselves or other people who happened to be nearby.
The two Toms have found ‘Ebenezer’ in a hall where the Christmas tree was. He was about to set fire to it again but the two Toms picked up the fire extinguishers and put the fire out before it set on fire again.
James and John spotted ‘Ebenezer’ who was about to head towards the canteen area. They had the idea of luring him away from the canteen area to prevent him from ruining their Christmas meal with James calling out to ‘Ebenezer’ that he and John have the presents that he has dropped and John claiming that he has hold of them if he wants to get them. This prompted ‘Ebenezer’ to go after those two just as they planned until he realised that they had tricked him and set off again.
Charlie and Andrew were chasing ‘Ebenezer’ who was trying to make his way towards the exit when they noticed the coins that were dropped from his sack, and picking them up along the way.
‘Ebenezer’ used the ice rink to get away from Dougie and Zane but they went onto the ice rink too with Zane helping Dougie to maintain his balance by holding him.
‘Ebenezer’ went past the food stalls but became confronted by the chiefs and customers who were angry at him for damaging their food stalls. This gives Matt and Zac to catch up towards him before he goes off in the opposite direction.
‘Ebenezer’ has also dropped the donated food that he has stolen which was picked up by Harry and Tobey while they were going after him.
Prince William and Princess Kate have alerted the group that ‘Ebenezer’ was making his way towards the exit. They split into two groups with Danny & Hayden, Tom Fletcher & Tom Holland, Dougie & Zane and Harry & Tobey rushing the hallway that was the quickest to the exit to prevent ‘Ebenezer’ from making a getaway while James & John, Charlie & Andrew and Matt & Zac were pursuing him.
‘Ebenezer’ then made his way towards where Dominic and the children were as he was forced to find another way out, much to Prince William and Princess Kate’s concern with the children getting involved. Danny and the others sent a message to Dominic, alerting him of the situation and had an idea. As soon as ‘Ebenezer showed up, Dominic tossed the Christmasaurus toy towards his feet, tripping him over and causing him to drop the sack of stolen gifts, money and food. The McBusted boys and the others have managed to catch up to him with Tom saying “Well, it looks like the Christmasaurus have saved Christmas.”
With ‘Ebenezer’ cornered, Prince William and Princess Kate made their arrival to confront the thief. “If you really want to know, then I have a good reason to hate Christmas” said ‘Ebenezer’ defeated. The thief explained that their real name is Humphrey Buggler. When Humphrey was young during the Christmas season, his Mother died from an illness and his Father couldn’t afford Christmas presents because he spent his money buying alcohol and was unable to deal with the pressure of celebrating Christmas. He didn’t have any other friends or relatives to celebrate Christmas with him.
As a result, Humphrey resents Christmas because to him, it reminds him of all the pains he had endured so he vows to become the modern-day Ebenezer Scourge and to stop everyone from celebrating the one day. Everyone felt sorry for Humphrey. “We’re sorry you have to go through that. Even we don’t have it easy when it comes to celebrating Christmas so you’re not alone” said Danny showing sympathy. “I believe that Christmas isn’t always about the presents but it’s about people getting together, putting their worries and differences aside for the festivity” said Princess Kate. “Christmas is what we make of it” said Hayden.
“It’s why I choose to host Winter Wonderland; to help people to smile for this time of year” said Prince William having some mercy for him. “I want everyone to have a happy Christmas and we’ll be happy to celebrate Christmas with you” said Tom Holland with Dominic handling over the Christmasaurus book that he was reading to the children.
Humphrey was touched by their kindness despite everything. This encouraged him to hand over the presents that he stole although some the the children were happy to share the presents with him. Humphrey felt emotional with that and the McBusted boys and the others were happy for him.
They invited him for a Christmas meal in the canteen area. Humphrey was grateful to have a Christmas meal that he hadn’t had for a long time. However, although they felt sorry for his past, he still has to be on probation for all the damages he has caused with the other guests and staff are less welcoming with them glaring at him. “I know you had a tough time with Christmas but your actions will only ruin Christmas for everyone” said Zac gently but firmly. “Christmas is supposed to be a happy occasion and you’ll only drag the others down” said Tom Holland.
“We all had it tough too with our past but you still need to be better and take responsibility for your actions” said Matt. “But don’t worry, Kate and I will be happy to guide you during your probation” said Prince William gently (who also vows to have more sercuity next time). “We do strive to help everyone for our Winter Wonderland” said Princess Kate warmly. It was the two young Royal’s jobs to look after their people after all. Humphrey understood, seeing this as not a punishment but as a way to do better, having a chance for a new beginning while he made amends (including helping to repair the Christmas lights and handing back the donations).
Afterwards, Prince William and Princess Kate thanked The McBusted boys and the others for helping them to save Christmas. “We’re happy to be your Little Helpers like for Santa’s workshop” said Dougie jokingly which made everyone smile. The McBusted boys have grown closer to the actors as part of their Polyamorous circle. The actors admired the McBusted boys for their talent and as someone to talk about. “Dougie, it was great to have you with me” said Zane as each of the actors looked at the McBusted boys that they paired up in the eyes with admiration. “I can’t thank you enough for all those words Charlie” said Andrew. “It was great to get to know you” said Charlie with the McBusted boys looking at them back, sharing their love for them
The McBusted boys have decided to invite them to their Christmas get-together, for which they happily accepted. Dominic was invited too as their friend (also with his friends and family being busy over Christmas so that he won’t be as lonely). And so they were all celebrating Christmas together at the huge manor with the McBusted’s other family members (with their wives accepting their Polyamorous relationship) and their Pokémon. They all had fun getting to know each other more, having a huge Christmas feast, exchanging gifts as their way of thanks and playing fun, silly games (including the McBusted boys and the actors kissing each other under the mistletoe and Dominic taking funny and heart-warming selfies with the McBusted boys cuddling up to him and others) which made them all closer.
Near the end of the party, the McBusted boys sat on the couches, linking to their partners and holding a glass with smiles on their faces.
“Well, this has been one hectic Christmas” said James grinning. “That’s true but it's what makes it the best” added John with his arm around James. “This has certainly brought us together” said Dominic. “Yeah, being with the people you love is what Christmas is really all about” said Danny warmly. “I say cheers to that” said Hayden as they all raised their glass and exchanged a kiss; grateful to spend Christmas together with the magical bond they shared.
