McBusted's Pokémon Adventures Part 8 - The Ultra Scramble

 Here is part eight of my fan fiction for two of my favourite boy bands McFly and Busted in their super group McBusted where they continued their tour in the world of Pokémon at the Alola region from the Gen 7 games. McFly and Busted have arrived in the Alola region where they learned about Z-Moves from Lillie. However, Ultra Wormholes has started to appear throughout the region. Enjoy and stay tuned for more. 

The Ultra Scramble

 

Chapter 1: Aloha, Alola!

Two boy bands McFly and Busted together as their supergroup McBusted continued their tour around many Pokémon regions as they arrived in the Alola region; the region known for its tropical islands. The McBusted boys were greeted by the tropical breeze as soon as they stepped into Alola. “They’re pretty hot just like the jungle that I took part in for I’m a Celebrity” said Dougie. “Let’s see who is the king of the jungle here!” said Matt.

During their tour, the McBusted boys admired the many views and weather of Alola including the lush greenery, crystal-clear waters, and warm sunshine. They have caught and raised many new Pokémon including Decidueye for Danny, Kommo-o for Tom, Primarina for James, Lurantis for Charlie, Pyukumuku for Dougie, Golisopod for Matt and Incineroar for Harry. 

Raising and evolving Decidueye has reminded Danny the time when he held an Owl for the McFly Advent Calendar. Dougie got sunburned but he rubbed his sunburn using his Pyukumuku who had sticky mucous on its body which helped to soothe it. “How convenient!” said Dougie.

 They tried many activities and explored different places. Danny and James took part in Mantine Surf, riding on the manta ray-like Pokémon that surfs on the ocean waves. “I’ll reach you to the island!” said Danny. “Catch me if you can!” said James. Gallade, Gardevoir, Decidueye and Primarina were cheering them on. They were both an equal match, showing off different spinning techniques including the Lanturn 360 which involves doing a backflip, front flips and another backflip.

“I have my island experience like just for my Sugar Beach album. You don’t stand a chance!” bragged James. “Oh yeah? I’m tired of people mistaking me for you! For that, I’ll beat you!” boasted Danny just before they both bumped into a school of Tentacool, causing them to fall off from their Mantine. They held onto the Mantine tightly though they both see the funny side of it and laugh with amusement and enjoyment, playfully and affectionately splashing each other.

Tom, Matt and Charlie were exploring in the jungle and found a red panda-like Pokémon named Stufful. “Aw so cute!” said Tom who couldn’t resist it’s cute appearance. “I gotta catch it!” said Matt and tossed his Pokeball at it which made it jump towards their direction. “Aw, come here!” said Charlie with adoration, opening his arms but Stufful swung its arms and hit the nearby trees, causing the branches to fall which knocked down the trio. “Come back!” cried Matt as Stufful made it get away.

As they stood up, Stufful’s evolved form Bewear has unexpectedly made its appearance. It was a rather affectionate, friendly Pokémon that wanted to hug them. But they were wary of its huge appearance whose arms could crush them as shown when the tree branches were shattered by them as it excitedly ran towards them. “Let’s get out of here!” cried Tom and the three ran as fast as they could.

Dougie and Harry were exploring the tallest mountain in Alola Mount Lanakila. They were missing about, throwing snowballs at each other and other Pokémon. However, they got lost. “Well, looks like we’ll be freezing to death for our tour” said Dougie grimy. Luckily for them, an Alolan Ninetales has made its appearance. It rescued them by leading them to the way out. “Fascinating, I believe that this is one of the regional forms of Alola” said Harry. As they were near the mountain base, Harry said to it “Thank you Ninetales, we owe you one!” Dougie however said “Um, according to the Pokedex, the real reason why it guided is because it wants us to hurry up and leave.” This was proven true with Ninetales gave them a cold glare after it left them at the mountain base.

During the night outside of their hotel, Dougie spotted a Mimikyu, a particular ghostly Pokémon whose outfit resembled a Pikachu. “I wonder what’s underneath that Mimikyu?” said Dougie whose curiosity got the better of him. Just before he touched the bottom of its cloak, Tom rushed over to Dougie and quickly dragged him away. “I’ve just read the Pokedexs to not to look underneath its cloak! Honestly, we can’t go anywhere without you causing trouble!” ranted Tom.

 The next day, they met a young girl with long blonde hair and a wide-brimmed hat, holding a small, starry-eyed Pokémon in her arms. “Hi there, my name is Lille” said the girl shyly. “Hi, it’s nice to meet you” said James welcomingly. Danny, always the friendly one, kneels to get a closer look at Nebby. “Whoa, who's this little guy?” he said with curiosity.  “This is Nebby who is a Cosmog. It’s a special kind of Pokémon. I want to help it to grow stronger so I’m travelling with it” explained Lillie. “A Cosmog? I never thought I would see one of those here” said Tom with fascination. “I’m sure you’ll help it to become strong in no time” said Matt giving her his support.

“Thanks” said Lillie with a smile. She then remembered something. “Oh, I was meant to give you all these by Professor Kukui” said Lillie who got out several sparkling crystals for each of them. “Why thanks. Are these our island souvenirs?” asked Dougie. Lillie giggled and said “They are in a way but these are Z-Crystals which allows your Pokémon to perform special moves known as Z-Moves which is unique to Alola.” “A Z-Move huh? I’ll be eager to try them out” said Harry with his competitive spirit fired up.

Lillie added that they are required to perform unique poses to activate Z-Moves. “We shall give them a try!” said Matt. The boys were interested in learning these poses for their Pokémon including for their Gallade and Gardevoir such as Shattered Psyche, All-Out Pummeling and Twinkle Tackle although they all couldn’t quite get the poses right. They either tripped over, got the poses mixed up or forgot which pose to use. “Looks like it’s going to take some time mastering them” said Charlie after he feel flat on his butt. “Giving me more workouts than the ones from Harry’s Get Fit, Get Happy” said James. “Was it to you?!” said Harry with indignity. “It’ll be good if we use this tour to practise them” said Dougie with his innovative thinking.

They were able to get better with their Z-Move posing as they demonstrated to their fans on tour although there are times when they still had some mishaps including one time during their show in Malie City when Danny and Matt tried to perform one of the Z-Moves poses but Danny tripped over on his backside and Matt nearly fell off the stage. But they were saved by their Decidueye holding Danny with its wings and Golisopod  catching Matt with its massive claws. “Thanks there Decidueye!” said Danny. “Yeah, that was a close save” said Matt. Decidueye and Golisopod replied with a chittering sound that sounded like they’re chuckling. “Well you both sure set the stage” said Tom who saw this. Nevertheless, they had fun posing and their audience found it amusing.

But little that they know that their Z-Move training will come in use for what is about to come for the whole of Alola.

 Chapter 2: A troubled family

A distressed Lillie has rushed over to the McBusted who immediately tell that something isn’t right.  “Lillie, what’s wrong?” asked Danny with concern. “It’s Nebby! I need your help!” she cried. “We’ll help you right away!” said Tom. “Anything for a friend!” said James who is ready for action.

Lillie has taken them to Aether Paradise’s Labs which is a large research facility located in the middle of Alola on the ocean, designed to look after injured Pokémon. The McBusted boys helped Lillie to take out the Team Skull and Aether Foundation’s Pokémon as Lillie took them to the lab where Nebby was held hostage.

  Along the way, Lillie told them about her Mother Lusamine who used to be a kind woman until her Father Mohn accidentally fell into an Ultra Wormhole while researching about them. This has caused Lusamine to snap, going to extreme lengths to find a way to open Ultra Wormholes at will to get her husband back which has caused her to become neglectful and abusive to her and her Brother Gladion (including getting them to do the chores perfectly and punishing for any mistakes and not getting them tickets for the McBusted tour because she was busy with her research). This has led Lusamine to find Nebby who planned to use its powers to open Ultra Wormholes. Lillie and Gladion were against it with Lillie hiding Nebby from her but Team Skull’s boss Guzma has managed to get hold of it as requested by Lusamine.

  “Oh boy, it looks like some family drama here” said Dougie wearily. “I’m sorry to have dragged you all into this but I need your help for us to become a family again” said Lillie with guilt. The McBusted boys understood her feelings having no one else but her Brother to turn to. “Don’t worry, we’ll do what we can to help out” said Harry reassuring her. “Yeah, leave it to us!” said Matt. They eventually reached Lusamine’s lab where they found Neddy on a machine that was giving it painful shocks, set by Lusamine.

 “Mother, stop! Can’t you see that your obsession with opening Ultra Wormholes will cause not only harm to Nebby but to the entire Alola region?!” cried the stern-looking boy Gladion who is Lillie’s Brother, using his Type Null and Lycanroc Midnight Form to battle Lusamine’s Salazzle and Froslass. “Obsession? I am doing this to get your Father back! How is this obsession?” said Lusamine mockingly as her Salazzle and Froslass were beating Gladion’s Pokémon with their corrosive Poison-type moves and icy chilled ice-type moves. The McBusted boys used Gallade and Gardevoir to help out Gladion by protecting Type Null and Lyconroc with their Psyblade and Lumina Crash.

 Lusumine noticed that Lillie had brought the McBusted boys. She pretended to act sweet and said “Why Lillie, how nice to bring those boys from McFly and Busted. We’re a huge fan of their music.” The McBusted boys weren’t fooled by their flattery with Charlie asking “Why are you doing this to Nebby? This doesn’t look right. I think your daughter is worried about you.” “You shouldn’t need to worry, I am only borrowing Nebby’s powers to open up those Ultra Wormholes to get our Father back who went missing by those wormholes. My children are being rebellious but I have to open these Ultra Wormholes at any cost. I am a genius Mother after all as you can see with the Pokémon that I have protected for entirety” answered Lusumine with a sinister smile, pointing to the glass chamber that contains Pokémon that she froze with help from her Froslass. The McBusted boys were unnerved by the sight of preserved Pokémon as well Lusumine’s obsessive insanity.

 “This has to stop Mother! I want Father back but what you’re doing is wrong!” yelled Gladion. Lusumine lost her temper and cried “I have worked hard to get your Father back and this is how you repay me? Just wait until he hears how rebellious you both have become you ungrateful brats!” The McBusted boys figured that she had gone too far to be reasoned with so they commanded Gallade and Gardevoir to free Nebby using Psyblade and Lumina Crush. As they rescued Nebby, it evolved into Cosmoem who appeared to be dormant because of its cocoon-like state.

 By this time, many Ultra Wormholes have appeared throughout Alola with otherworldly Pokémon appearing wreaking havoc. “What on earth are those freaks?!” exclaimed Dougie. “They’re Ultra Beasts! This is what you really wanted Mother?!” exclaimed Gladion. “Look, it’s those Ultra Wormholes! Soon we’ll be reunited with my husband” said Lusumine as she was looking at the Wormholes with glee, unsurprisingly too obsessive to comprehend.

 Knowing that there was no point reasoning with his Mother, Gladion escorted everyone to a room where there several blue Pokeballs known as Beast Balls. Gladion said to the McBusted boys, “If Lillie trusts you all, then please, help us to capture these Ultra Beasts so that we can send them back to their world before they could destroy Alola.” “Why of course! We shall call this operation Ultra Beast hunt!” replied James. “Gotta catch them all!” said Danny. 

 Chapter 3: Ultra Beasts Unleashed

 The Ultra Beasts were causing destruction everywhere, damaging people’s houses and destroying Pokémon’s homes. Tom, Danny, James and Lillie have encountered three of them including Nihilego, Buzzwole and Pheromosa at Melemele Island. The Ultra Beasts were tough opponents with the jellyfish like Ultra Beast Nihilego firing its deadly Poison-type moves, Buzzwole which looks like a muscular mosquito using brute force with its big muscles and likes to show them with its poses and Pheromosa which resembles a beautiful cockroach dodging moves with its Speed.

 But the McBusted boys were able to stand a chance against them by using their Pokémon’s Z-Moves to deal lots of damage while mastering their poses. “Now, fire away!” said Danny as his arrow wielding owl Decidueye performed its signature Z-Move Sinister Arrow Raid, shooting out lots of arrows at Buzzwole who wasn’t able to escape from multiple arrows even with its muscles. Danny pulled a goofy face while posing the Z-Move.

 “Time for a symphony!” said James as his singing Sea-Lion Primarina summoned a giant bubble and unleashed it towards Pheromosa who couldn’t escape from it using its signature Z-Move Oceanic Operetta. Once those two Ultra Beasts were down, Danny and James tossed their Beasts Balls at them, successfully capturing them. “And here’s one thing we’re good at!” said James. “I can concur!” cheered Danny as they both held their Beast Balls in triumphant. Their smiles has warmed each other's hearts. 

 Although they celebrated a bit too soon as Nihilego fired its Sludge Bomb towards their Pokémon. Lillie helped out with her Alolan Vulpix nicknamed Snowy which fired its Blizzard at the Sludge Bomb. “I may not be strong but I do my best to help out” said Lillie. “You did a great job there” said Danny thanking her.

 “Now leave it to me!” said Tom who used this chance to unleash the scaly Dragon type Kommo-o’s signature move Clangorous Soulblaze, firing huge purple shockwaves at Nihilego. Tom captured it with his Beast Ball afterwards. “This makes you and me the winners just like with The Voice as Team Tom and Danny!” cheered Danny high-fiving him. That memory has made them blush with affection. “And how about you signing up for a reality TV Show for you to win James? That way, you’ll be in the same league as us” said Tom. “Just you wait until we step into the ring!” replied James.

 On Akala Island, Dougie and Matt have found two Ultra Beasts. One resembled a Christmas Tree with electrical wires known as a Xurkitree and the other one looked like a huge space shuttle and a bamboo shot called Celesteela. Xurkitree fires jolts of electricity from its arms that resemble cables while absorbing electricity from nearby cables. Just when it was about to zap Dougie’s Sea Cumcumber like- Pokémon Pyukumuku, Matt’s Giant Isopod Golisopod struck first by ramming its giant claw using First Impression. “Thanks for the head start!” said Dougie as his Pyukumuku showed its appreciation to by giving Matt a thumbs up by spitting out its organs. Matt finds it charming and cute. “Now let’s turn out the lights!” said Dougie using his Z-Move All-About Pummelling with Pyukumuku pummelling Xurkitree with its fists made out of its organs. This was followed by Pyukumuku using Toxic to weaken Xurkitree.

 Celesteela launches itself into the air and fires projectiles including Flash Cannon from its arms that resemble bamboo storks.  It was about to crash into Dougie and Matt using Heavy Slam but with his quick thinking, Matt unleashed Golisopod’s Z-Move Savage Spinout, using the web to capture Celesteela. Although Celesteela normally resisted the move, it was unable to escape the giant web. “Now let’s crash this thing to the ground!” said Matt who then told his Golisopod to follow up the attack with Liquidation. Dougie admired Matt’s bold bravery that made him to take risks. They both captured the Ultra Beasts in their Beast Balls afterwards.

 Charlie and Harry were at Po Town on Ula’Ula Island where they have found two Ultra Beasts; the tiny blade that looks like an Origami human Kartana and a huge fat dragon with a mouth that looks like a massive portal on the inside Guzzlord. Kartana was chasing Team Skull grunts while slicing the nearby trees and Guzzlord was eating their Shady House. “Don’t just stand there! Help us to get rid of those fiends!” yelled Guzma. “So you’re the Team Skull punks who tried to sneak into our shows and stole Nebby earlier” said Harry cheekily. “That maybe true but that Lusamine has gone completely bonkers...but hey this isn’t a time to chat!” cried Guzma. “Well you all better not cause any more trouble” said Charlie.

 Kartana struck hard and fast like a samurai cutting through its foes which made it difficult to attack it. But Charlie had an idea. He commanded his Orchid-Mantis like Pokémon Lurantis to fire its Leaf Storm towards Kartana’s direction. Although it wouldn’t hurt Kartana that much because it resisted Grass type moves, the leaves helped to distract Kartana who occupied itself cutting through the leaves. “Just right where I wanted you!” said Charlie with his Lurantis slamming into Kartana using Super Power. Having to use both Leaf Storm and Super Power, Lurantis was powered up with its ability Contrary (which would otherwise lower its stats upon using those two moves). “That was smart of you” complemented Harry. “It’s just like coming up with a smash hit!” said Charlie who wrapped it up by using his Z-Move Black Hole Eclipse. Upon activating it, Lurantis traps Kartana into a black hole which explodes on it afterwards.

 “Think it’s up for a challenge?!” said Harry with his wrestling Tiger Incineroar charging up to the Guzzlord, letting out a roar which intimidated Guzzlord. “Not so scary now are you?!” boasted Harry. Guzzlord responded by slamming its claws towards Incineroar using Knock Off. Guzzlord then its jaw towards Incineroar using Crunch but Harry told it to make a getaway using U-Turn. Incineroar leapt from the ground to escape from Guzzlord. “And now, eat this!” called Harry as he activated Incineroar’s signature Z-Move Malicious Moonsault. Charged up with Z Power, Incineroar jumps into the air and lands on Guzzlord with great force, causing a huge explosion.

 Charlie admired Harry’s competitive nature while Harry was impressed with Charlie’s creativity. They both captured Kartana and Guzzlord with their Beast Balls. Guzma gave them his mutual thanks for saving his grunts but told them to stop Lusamine for her own good.

 On Poni Island where everyone regrouped, they found Stakataka which resembled a huge brick and Blacephalon which is a colourful Ultra Beast that looks like a clown.  Gladion helped Busted’s Gardevoir and McFly’s Gallade to fight the respective Ultra Beast with his Type Null. Those two Ultra Beasts were rather strong with Stakataka’s huge defensives (as said by Matt How can we tear down this wall?!”) and Blacephalon tossing its ball-like head that explodes which caused Dougie to fall on Danny who landed flat on his butt. “This is why I hate clowns” cried Dougie dramatically. Lille sends out her Clefairy to help out using Metronome but the move chosen was Splash which did absolutely nothing. “Sorry, it normally chooses powerful moves” said Lille blushing. “Guess that’s randomness for you” said James.

 “I must get stronger to bring my family back!” said Gladion. Responding to his will, Type Null’s helmet has broken off, evolving it to Silvally. Gladion used this chance to toss a disc called a Ground Memory towards Silvally’s disk drive on its head. “And now, shatter them to the ground!” commanded Gladion as his Silvally unleashed its Multi Attack. Being a Ground type move, it was super effective on these two Ultra Beasts. “Now that’s an amazing evolution!” cheered Danny. Gardevoir and Gallade followed up their attacks with their Aura Sphere and Night Slash. Stakataka and Blacephalon were captured afterwards.

 They then found a group of Poipole who were lost as they were wandering about in confusion. They resemble purple bee lava. “We’ll help you to get back to the wormhole” said Tom. They seemed to understand him as they approached the group. However, it’s evolved from Naganadel which looks like a purple wasp dragon has shown up, mistaking them for attacking its Poipole. “Hey! Quit attacking us!” yelled Charlie as Naganadel attacked them by firing its Sludge Bomb from its stinger. Lillie ordered Clefairy to use its Metronome to help them. The move it chose was Explosion which took out the Sludge Bomb but it was knocked out as a result. “Well, that was a bang” said Harry as Lillie returned it to its Pokeball.

 Just as Naganadel was about to fire its Dragon Pulse at them, Cosmoen evolved into Solegleo, the metallic lion-like Pokémon with the power of the sun. “Nebby, you evolved!” said Lillie with astonishment as Solegleo charged in using Sunsteel Strike on Naganadel. “Way a go Nebby!” cheered Danny. They captured Nagandel and the Poipole followed them.

 They arrived at the huge altar known as Altar of the Sunne where a huge Ultra Wormhole is located. “What a huge altar” said Matt with fascination. “This is where Nebby has come from” said Lillie. “We should use this Ultra Wormhole to send those Ultra Beasts back to their home but first, we need to use Nebby’s powers to close the other Ultra Wormholes to make sure that nothing else comes out of them” said Gladion. “That sounds great, we can protect Alola for our fans and Pokémon” said Charlie.

 However, Nebby’s power to open wormholes was depleted due to the experiment that was conducted on it and the energy it used to evolve. “Oh Nebby, if only we can help” said Lillie sadly. All is not lost as the McBusted boys have found a mural on the wall which shows some musical notes. “I think there’s a way we can help to restore Nebby’s powers. The mural said that should the beast that devour the sun or the beast that devours the moon require your aid, then play this tune for our people to pass on; The Harmony of the light” said Tom. “We’re musicians and have helped Pokémon with our music before so we should make it work” said James, eager to give it a go. “Yes, anything to help Nebby!” said Lillie, looking forward to hearing their music.

 The McBusted boys gathered their instruments and played a short but peaceful tune that sounded like a flute playing. This has helped to restore Nebby’s powers to close Ultra Wormholes as said by Danny “Glad to help out. Go for it Nebby.” They released the Ultra Beasts that they have caught into the bigger Ultra Wormhole and escorted the Poipoles back to their home. Just as the Ultra Wormhole was closing, Lusamine has appeared. “Mohn...My Mohn...I have waited to be reunited...I can’t let my hard work be thrown away!...” said Lusamine who was unstable. “Mother, please wait!” cried Lillie as Lusamine was slowly making her way towards the wormhole. “Don’t go any further! You must listen to her!” said Danny backing her up. “Get out of my way! How much longer I have to wait until this day?! You children should know better  to listen to adults! And you pop stars should stay out of our business!” snapped Lusamine, pushing her children and the McBusted Boys out of the way as she went into the wormhole.

 Within seconds however, a terrified Lusamine came out of the wormhole, crying “Everyone...run away...that thing...is a monster!” and a huge, black prism-like Pokémon emerged out of the wormhole. "What on earth is that thing?!" exclaimed Matt. “Is that another one of those Ultra Beasts?!” asked Dougie in awe. “No...it’s Necromza!” answered Gladion in fear. Necromza angrily fired its Proton Geysers everywhere, hitting Nebby. Necromza then proceeded to absorb Nebby, becoming Dusk Mane Necromza and went back to the Ultra Wormhole. “Nebby!” screamed Lillie.

 As a result of light being drawn from Alola, the region became covered in darkness. “Looks like we got ourselves into a bigger mess” said Harry wearily.  “...This is...not what I wanted!” cried Lusamine, horrified at what she had done. The McBusted boys were still determined to save Nebby and the entire Alola region with Danny, full of optimism saying “This isn’t over yet! Let’s go and save Nebby!” “Yeah, we shall be the light!” said James. “But how? That Necromza attacks anything that goes near it” said Lusamine. “But we have to try Mother! It’s the only way we can help Nebby!” said Lillie inspired by the McBusted boy’s encouragement. “She’s right. The whole of Alola will remain dark if we don’t do something” added Gladion. Lusamine smiled and said “Why haven’t you foolish children of mine grown? So brave and kind.” Her children we happy to see their Mother slowly coming back to her senses. The McBusted boys were happy for them too. “Follow our league and let’s get out there!” said Harry as they all entered the Ultra Wormhole.

 Chapter 4: Fight against the Binding One

 The McBusted boys, Lillie and her family have arrived in a strange world in Ultra Space resembling a huge futuristic city known as Ultra Megalopolis. “Are we in the Year 3000?” asked Matt as they looked around with fascination. “Well it’s not underwater” added James. “There’s something about it that brings me back to the days when we made our Super City site” said Dougie.

They then found a man with blond hair who said to them “Oh hello, I didn’t expect to see any visitors here”. Lusamine and her children recognised the man. “...Mohn!” cried Lusamine. “Father!” added Lillie and Gladion with emotion. “...Lusamine! Lillie! Gladion!” said Mohn and they all embraced each other. The McBusted boys were happy to see their family reunited. “Well, never expected our rescue mission to turn out like this” said Charlie smiling. “Times like this makes me think of my family” said Tom with emotion.

Mohn explained that the people from Ultra Megalopolis have helped to look after him, healing his injuries and restoring his memory. He also shared them about Necromza as told by the people, saying that it was known as The Binding One who spread its light energy known as Z-Power throughout Ultra Wormholes and into the Alola region which was used for Z-Moves.  However, it became weakened when the Ultra Megalopolis people tried to control it so that they could recreate the light it shared, resulting in it becoming aggressive and in be in constant pain as it became its black-prism-like shape. “That’s why it wants Solgeleo to restore the light it once had so it must never be released out of this world” explained Mohn. This made Lusamine guilty even further for her actions.

Dusk Mane Necromza made its appearance in front of them who instantly underwent Ultra Burst in a flash of light, becoming its true form Ultra Necromza. “Woah! It’s so binding!” cried Danny who was gobsmacked with this transformation. “We’ll be needing to give everything we got!” said Tom with determination.

Despite the McBusted boys working together, Ultra Necromza was far from an easy opponent who hits fast and hard; dodging Decidueye and Kommo-o’s Spirit Shackle and Clanging Scales and striking them with its Outrage. Incineroar attempted to restrain it using its Darkest Lariat, only for it to get overwhelmed by Ultra Necromza’s sheer strength.  Lurantis and Golisopod tried to ambush it with their Knock Off and First Impression but Ultra Necromza stopped their tracks with its wings using Smart Strike. It also fired Photon Geysers that overpowered Primarina’s Sparking Aria and shattered Reflect and Light Screen set by Pyukumuku. As Ultra Necromza fired its Power Gem, Gallade and Gardevoir used Close Combat and Moonblast to intercept the attacks but they got hit by Photon Geyser.

“This isn’t looking good” said Dougie nervously. “Come on, hang in there!” called Harry. In response, their Pokémon combined their moves as suggested by the McBusted boys including Decidueye and Gallade slashing Ultra Necromza at close range using Leaf Blade and Psyblade when it used Smart Strike, Gardevoir and Primarina combining their Moonblast, Golisopod and Incineroar charging in together with their Aqua Jet and Flare Blitz while it was using Outrage, Lurantis and Kommo-o fighting through its Power Gem with Close Combat and Leaf Storm and Pyukumuku using Counter when Ultra Necromza got near to its allies. Although their teamwork caught Ultra Necromza off guard and dealt a fair amount of damage, it wasn’t enough to defeat it as it fired its Photon Geyser towards the floor near them with a huge blast knocking them down.

“If only we could use our Z-Moves” said Charlie with its power already has been used up. As if it heard them, a part of Nebby within Ultra Necromza was able to temporarily regain control from Necromza who bestowed its light onto their Z Rings. “Thanks Nebby, it’s just what we needed!” said Matt as they noticed that their Z Ring was restored. They decided to use their Psychium Z for their Gallade and Gardevoir.

“You both ready?” asked Danny. “Let’s combine our minds as one!” said James. Gallade and Gardevoir nodded at them as the McBusted boys all together performed their Z Pose, activating their Psychium Z which enables Gallade and Gardevoir to use Shattered Psyche. While Ultra Necromza would normally resist Psychic type moves, the combined minds of the McBusted boys, Gallade and Gardevoir have helped to trap Ultra Necromza. The supernova-like Dragon was then moved by their telekinesis towards their other Pokémon which allowed them to attack it directly. This was enough to overwhelm Ultra Necromza, separating it from Nebby as Solegleo. “Woah! It’s like our combination for our performance!” said Charlie with amazement. “That’s McBusted for you!” said Tom with excitement. Necromza has retreated afterwards.

Nebby created an Ultra Wormhole as an exit. Back in the Altar of the Sunne, Nebby restored the light throughout Alola. “Shining a light for Alola once again” said Danny happily. “For people to sleep with the light on” added Charlie. Just then, a large bat-like Pokémon that resembled the Moon’s crescent Lunala appeared from the portal. It was a friend of Nebby who requested it to return to its world having to worry about it as a friend. Nebby bids its farewell to the group. “Goodbye Nebby and take care” said Lillie with a warm smile, hugging Nebby. “Have fun with Batman” said James as Nebby was reunited with Lunala and went into the Ultra Wormhole.

With Mohn reunited with his family, Lusamine has given her pardon to her children and the McBusted boys. “Both of you were right all along. I was so desperate to get your Father back that I lost my way. But no, I have no excuses for all the pain and damage I’ve caused” said Lusamine with remorse. She vows to spend more time with her children and to help to repair the damage caused by the Ultra Beasts to atone for her actions.

 She then admitted to the McBusted boys that they make a better role model for her children than she would. “Oh please, we’re not perfect. We only did what we needed to do to help out a fan of us” said Tom blushing. “But as long as you are willing to learn and make up for your actions as I have, then I know there is still some good in you” said Matt. “What matters the most is that we’re family again” said Gladion with a smile.

Soon after, the McBusted boys performed one last show at the Battle Royal Dome with Lillie and her family watching the show as their VIP guests. During the show, The McBusted boys performed an extended version of The Harmony of the Light and showed off their Z Move poses, showing that they have mastered them but also for the fun of it. This delighted the audience who recognised them as heroes. Danny has also shown his muscleman poses as inspired by his battle against Buzzwole which amuses the crowd. “Mushy is certainly the champion of the world” said Harry.

As the McBusted boys sang beneath the Alolan stars, they knew that they had not only saved Nebby but also the vast region of Alola. This is like one island vacation that they won’t forget as they waved goodbye to Lillie and her family having to bring them together, making their departure from the Alolan Sun for the next tour in the world of Pokémon which is bound to involve many more adventures yet to come.

McBusted's Pokémon Adventures Part 7 - Defending the World's Beauty

Here is part seven of my fan fiction for two of my favourite boy bands McFly and Busted in their super group McBusted where they continued their tour in the world of Pokémon at the Kalos region from the Gen 6 games. They meet up with their fan Dominic and Kalos Champion Diantha in Lumoise City who taught them about Mega Evolution, only for Lumoise City to get under attack by Team Flare controlling Zygarde (referring to the Pokémon XYZ arc from the Pokémon anime). Chapter 1: Seeing Kalos’ beauty

 Two boy bands McFly and Busted who joined forces as their supergroup McBusted continued their tour around the world of Pokémon with the Kalos region as their next destination. The boys were already admiring Kalos’ beauty. “Wow! Kalos is certainly a beautiful region!” said Danny as he looked around with admiration. “We better explore its whole beauty!” said James excitedly.

 Their tour was underway with so many misadventures and laughs along the way including their banter on tour. “Doesn’t Charlie look grumpy in his photos? He needs to cheer up doesn’t he?” said Tom to the audience, showing them a photoshoot of them. “Oh yeah? I bet you need cheering up after being kicked out of Busted after 24 hours!” retorted Charlie cheekily. “I bet people know you more for covering one of the Jonas Brothers' songs!” said Harry jokingly to Matt who came up with a comeback saying “Well you owe us one with James writing songs for you all!”

 The crowd was going nuts for their humorous banter, but they nevertheless enjoyed their combined performance, which included Danny and James singing "Beautiful Girls Are the Loneliest" on the B Stage. The audience used their phones as touches, holding them up, which made it a beautiful duet. Danny and James couldn’t help but find it dazzling and romantic.

 Their newly obtained Pokémon from the Kalos region include Greninja for Danny, Vivillon in its Pokeball Pattern for Tom (which is a very rare Vivillon pattern), Delphox for James, Goodra for Charlie, Malamar for Dougie, Chestnaught for Matt and Talonflame for Harry.

 There is one time when Danny and Tom meet up with a beauty named Nova. “I am a fan of you both! Could I have a photo?” she asked excitedly. “Sure thing!” said Danny as Nova gave Tom her Rotom phone. Tom was an expert with technology incorporated by Rotom, taking a selfie of those three, much to Nova’s delight. “Wow! I am good with this!” said Tom proudly. “Then consider this your day job” joked Danny, much to Tom’s confusion. Later on backstage, Danny saw Tom outlining a dog-shaped Pokémon on his phone. “What you’re making?” asked Danny. “Check this out, I can make it real” said Tom who put his phone down which revealed a Furfrou with a Star Trim next to Danny’s mic. “Mates, that’s amazing!” said Danny. “Considered yourself replaced” said Tom slyly. “What?” said Danny with a puzzled face.

 James has spotted a vending machine with some Poke Poffins. “My Pokémon will love them!” said James who selected a Poke Poffin but his hand got stuck in the dispenser door. “First the cakes. And now this” ranted Matt who helped James to get his hand out.

 At the hotel, Dougie heard a voice that said “Are you the one?” Dougie turned to where the voice was coming from and found a Hex Maniac next to the elevator and said “No, you’re not the one” said left. Dougie was confused with the whole thing. Meanwhile, Charlie was looking for the key that he used to lock his guitar case. He found it but a Klefki, a Pokémon who likes to collect keys had it on its loop. “Hey! Give it back!” cried Charlie but Klefki rattled its keys which started him. Gardevoir helped to get it back using her telekinesis and repelled it away using Hyper Voice. Charlie thanked her for this.

 One time while they were in Lumoise City, Harry and Gallade got lost while making his way to the hotel. “How can anyone get around this city? It’s so big!” he cried. He considered getting a taxi but he decided to let Gallade teleport him to the others. “Least it’s beats walking or paying for a taxi any day” he said.

Before their show at Lumiose City, they meet up with their fan Dominic and Kalos actress and champion Diantha. Dominic is a friend of Diantha who arranged a visit to teach them about the mysterious art of Mega Evolution, a phenomenon that they have first seen in the Hoenn region and they wanted to learn more about it. They were with their Psychic-type Pokémon Alakazam and Gardevoir (this one is a normal colouration compared to Busted’s Gardevoir but just as elegant).

 “Hey Dominic! Nice to meet you again!” cheered Danny as he hugged Dominic tightly. “Always a pleasure to see you all and your shows” said Dominic so warmly. He was also amazed with their Gallade and Gardevoir having to fully evolve. “They been a big help to us back in Unova” said Charlie.

 They all shake hands with Diantha. “I’ve been a huge fan of your movies Diantha! You and your Gardevoir’s performance for My Sweet Lady are so elegant!” said Tom who is star-struck. “I’ve been watching you and your Hawlucha in Hawlucha Libre six times!” said James excitedly. “A pleasure to meet you though your Halloween movie with your Gourgiest has made me sleep with the light on for weeks” said Dougie. “Well it’s my pleasure to meet fans of mine” said Diantha with a warm smile.

 Afterwards, Diantha told them about Mega Evolution which is a special type of evolution with only a certain number of Pokémon having access to it, made possible with a keystone, the matching Mega Stone and the bond and trust they have with their Pokémon. “Mega Evolution sounds incredible!” said Matt with interest. “Bet we can Mega Evolve” said Danny jokingly. Dominic and Diantha smiled with amusement with former saying “Your Gallade and Gardevoir are among the few Pokémon that can Mega Evolve as you have seen with Gallade back in Hoenn, My Alakazam can Mega Evolve as well” said Dominic. Gallade was thrilled that he could finally have the possibility of Mega Evolving. “Dominic and I thought we could show you Mega Evolution with a quick battle with our Pokémon” said Diantha. “Certainly, I like to see it!” said Harry. Gardevoir was eager to see what her Mega Evolution looks like.

 But before they could start their battle, enormous roots started to appear in Lumoise City, much to everyone’s surprise. “Hey what’s going on?!” exclaimed Matt as the citizens were running and screaming in panic. “Something is overgrowing or what?!” cried Harry as they made their escape out of the way from the roots.

 They then saw a screen that showed The Leader of Team Flare Lysandre making an announcement. He is shown along with his grunts. “People of Kalos, today marks the beginning of a new world, saving the old one from chaos and ruin!” said Lysandre who then showed the footage of the Pokémon that they are using to summon the roots throughout Lumoise City; The Order Pokémon known as Zygarde in its Complete Form which resembled a huge behemoth. “This is Zygarde who is angry that we humans have disrupted the world’s order. Because of our overpopulation, we forgot how to share but with Zygarde’s help, we shall cleanse this region and create a world of beauty and perfection. Only the chosen ones shall remain in this new world”

 Everyone was horrified with Team Flare’s dark ambition to use Zygarde to destroy their beautiful world. “We can’t let them destroy the beauty of our world. Sure it may not be perfect but it has my loved ones and fans sharing this world” said Danny. “Yeah, we can’t let that madman take away our world!” said James. “Everyone, please help me to free Zygarde and stop Team Flare while I work on evacuating the citizens along the way!” said Diantha. “Of course, we’ll give those fashion freaks what for; for interrupting our show!” said Dougie. “And I shall help alongside you all too!” said Dominic. The McBusted boys welcomed his alliance once again.

 Chapter 2: A Fiery battle

 The McBusted boys put their concert to one side and teamed up with Diantha and Dominic to fight Team Flare while rescuing any citizens from the vines. Team Flare consists of wealthy trainers with powerful Pokémon which makes them believe that they’re the chosen ones to live in their new world.

  “Greninja, let’s go!” Danny called out as his ninja frog-like Pokémon leapt into action with incredible speed, firing its Water Shuriken towards the vines that were about to attack the citizens and the Team Flare Grunt’s Mienshaos. Its ability Protein changed its type based on the move it was using, allowing it to adapt to any situation. Danny then went over to the citizens and gently asked “Are you alright?” They nodded, grateful for his rescue. 

 Just then, Danny and his Greninja were about to get attacked by a Grunt’s Ferrothorn, flashing its Power Whip at them but Charlie arrived just in time for his slimy Dragon type Goodra to take the attack, using its ability Sap Sapper before firing it’s Fire Blast at it. “Thanks Charlie! I can learn a lot from you as the Front Man” said Danny who returned the favour by commanding his Greninja to fire its Dark Pulse at a vine that was about to hit Charlie. “It’s good to woork with a fellow Front Man like yourself” replied Charlie as they gazed at each other with admiration. Afterwards, they escorted the citizens towards Diantha.

 “Come on Talonflame! We’ll make them pay for harming our fans!” called Harry as his fiery falcon Talonflame used its impressive speed to cut through the vines that were about to attack the citizens using Brave Bird. However, several of Team Flare’s Skarmorys stopped in its tracks with their defensives. But Tom’s butterfly-like Pokémon Vivillon flew by and scattered its Sleep Power to put them to sleep. It then used its Hurricane to blow them away along with the vines, using its ability Compound Eyes to make sure that every attack hit its mark.

 “Well Tom, that was a good strategy of you” said Harry respectfully with his Talonflame finishing off the remaining Skarmorys with its Flare Blitz. “It’s about making the best use of a Pokémon’s moves and abilities” said Tom. Harry admired Tom’s cool and collected demeanour while Tom respected Harry’s competitive streak that inspired him to improve himself.

 Dougie and James were outnumbered by Team Flare’s Heatmors and Durants just after they rescued the citizens from the vines. Luckily, Matt came by and commanded his hedgehog knight which resembles a chestnut Chestnaught to protect them from the attacks using Spiky Shield. “I’m right with you guys!” said Matt as he looked at them with reassurance. “Hooray for Matt!” cheered Dougie, admiring his bravery. “I owe you one Matt, just like when you helped me with the vending machine” said James though he was truly grateful for his help.

 Dougie followed up the attack with his devious squid like- Pokémon Malamar charging into them using Super Power with the Grunts ordering their Heatmors and Durants to stop their tracks using Fire Lash and Screech, intending to lower its stats but it instead raises its stats with its ability Contrary, slamming its Super Power on them while also rising its Attack and Defence (again via Contrary which would have otherwise lower it). James’ mage-like fox Delphox finished them off using Psyshock on the Heatmors, Fire Blast on the Durants.

 Dominic helped them all out using his PSI Fox-like- Pokémon Alakazam, using powerful moves including Psychic and Focus Blast to take out any of the Grunt’s Pokémon who tried to attack the McBusted’s boys. It also has the ability Magic Guard to protect it from any indirect damage including from the Poison caused by their Dragalges using Toxic Spikes which was helpful for it to get across the Toxic pool for it to reach Danny and Dougie to back them up as they were confronted by the Grunt’s Clawitzers. “Thanks for the help Dominic!” said Danny who protected him from the vines in return with his Greninja firing its Water Shuriken. “But are you going to Mega Evolve your Alakazam?” asked Dougie. “The key to Mega Evolving is to use it as the right place at the right time” answered Dominic who planned to save Mega Evolving for later.

 Diantha helped the police to escort the citizens to safety although as the Kalos champion, she held her own with her Gardevoir on her side, taking out the Team Flare Grunt’s Pokémon with powerful moves including Psyshock and Aura Sphere. Like with Dominic, she planned to reserve Mega Evolving her Gardevoir for the battle against Lysandre. She also uses her Hawlucha (ambushing its foes using its swift movements that mirror a luchador fighter) and Gourgiest (using supporting moves such as Will-o-Wisp and Leech Seed to weaken its opponents) as backup. “A fine opportunity to see a movie star in action!” said James with fascination just after he led the citizens to her. “That’s fine and all but bet she can’t compete with my acting in Nowhere Left to Run or Just My Luck” boasted Harry jokingly.  “I think we’ll be way out of her league obviously” said Tom.

 Throughout the battle, there was a tall man who was watching while hiding from Team Flare.

 As the battle raged on, McFly’s Gallade and Busted’s Garedvoir alerted the boys via their telepathic powers that there was a young girl and her Espurr caught in the crossfire. Without hesitation, they rushed to her aid with their Gallade and Gardevoir helping to fight against Team Grunt’s Pokémon, using their Psyblade and Lumina Crash (with Dominic backing them up).

  “Are you okay?” Danny asked with his voice full of concern. The girl nodded with her fear turning into gratitude. “Thanks for saving us. I’m Emma and this Espurr is mine is called Mimi” said the girl. “Stick with us and we’ll get you out of here safely” said Matt. But Emma insisted on helping them as inspired by their bravery. “We want to help you to take out these bad guys!” said Emma. She demonstrated Mimi’s powers who used Psychic to take out the Grunt’s Throh and Sawk. “Wow! You sure pack a punch! Ok, you can join us as long as you stay with us” said Charlie with astonishment. “Um, this Espurr is staring at me” said Dougie while looking at Mimi.

Lysandre was also watching the McBusted boys and the others battling his Team Flare grunts, impressed that they were able to defeat them despite their numbers and power. This makes Lysandre consider that they would be the suitable candiatates as the chosen ones for his new world. Lysandre also noticed their bright passion including for their music, helping others including Pokémon and working side by side one another. This reminded him of himself back when he helped out other people in time of need. He couldn't help but to have some sorrow yet he remained focus with his plan. 

 With Emma by their side, the McBusted boys, Dominic and Diantha fought their way through Team Flare’s forces which eventually led them to the top of Lumiose Tower where Lysandre and Zygarde were located.

 “I was watching you all battling my grunts and I must say that I am impressed. Are you all from McFly and Busted? It’ll be an honour for you all to join our new world. Your powers and music are welcome in our beautiful new world that’ll fix this ugly world” said Lysandre. Naturally, they all refused his offer. “Never! We love our world where we get to be with the people we love and the fans who are inspired by us!” declared Tom. “Yeah, destroying the world instead of dealing with its problems is for cowards!” argued James.

 “It seems that you all don’t understand. What’s the point of fixing the world with fools that’ll only taint it or a tomorrow that’ll only be worse than today?” asked Lysandre. “Of course, the world has its problems but we want to protect it for the sake of people’s tomorrows that'll give them a chance for them to start a journey, heal their wounds, work on their dreams and be with their loved ones. We shall fight for their tomorrows!” answered Dominic. “This is what I truly believe and you have no right to take away their tomorrows!” added Diantha who was inspired by their speech throughout.

Lysandre somberly gazed at them for a minute as if their retort has hit him. Deep down, maybe they were right but he can't turn back now. “...Suit yourself, none of you will be needed for my new world. Your words will be meaningless once I obliterate you all!” said Lysandre who sent out his Gyarados (a shiny one just like the one they had fought in Johto) and Pyroar to fight.

 Chapter 3- The Ultimate Weapon

Diantha and Dominic knew that it’d be the right time to Mega Evolve their Garedvoir and Alakazam. The McBusted boys were amazed to see their Mega Evolutions. Busted’s Gardevoir looked at her Mega Evolution with fascination. But they weren’t the only ones to Mega Evolve with Lysandre Mega Evolving his Gyarados.

 They split themselves to deal with each of Lysandre’s Pokémon. The Fire-type Lion fired powerful moves from a distance including Fire Blast and Hyper Voice but the McBusted boys used their Pokémon’s ranged attacks to counter these moves including Greninja’s Water Shuriken, Delphox’s Psyshock and Gardevoir’s Moonblast. This gives a chance for Talonflame and Malamar to get closer to Pyroar at close range using their Close Combat, Brave Bird and Super Power. Pyroar was about to stop their tracks using Dark Pulse but Mega Alakazam fired its Focus Blast to intercept the move for the other Pokémon’s attacks to land on Pyroar successfully.

 Mega Gyarados prefer to fight in close range; ramming its foes using Waterfall or taking a bite out of them using Crunch. Chestnaught stops its tracks using Drain Punch, giving Vivillon, Goodra and Gallade to attack it using Bug Buzz, Draco Meteor and Close Combat. Mega Gyarados however quickly reacted by firing its Stone Edge towards them but Mega Gardevoir used Hyper Voice to shatter the rocks that were heading towards them just in time before they hit their Pokémon.

 Pyroar and Mega Gyarados weren’t down just yet with Mega Gyarados firing its Stone Edge once again with Pyroar using its Fire Blast that surrounded the incoming rocks, turning them into fireballs as ordered by Lysandre. “Now I see why they’re called Team Flare” said Dougie dryly with their Pokémon taking a huge hit from the fireballs and their moves that were fired at the fireballs were burnt off. However, Mega Alakazam and Mega Gardevoir used their Psychic to toss the fireballs right back at Pyroar and Mega Gyarados. “Now that’s an incredible payback!” cheered Danny as they used this chance for their Pokémon to attack while they were down. “This truly shows our bond with our Pokémon Mega Evolved” said Dominic. “I say it’s like improvising on stage” said Diantha. “That’s something that I should come up with the next time I act” said Matt. “Same with me for my musicals!” said Tom.  “Don’t forget mine!” said James.

 However, Lysandre used Zygarde to fire its Thousand Arrows at their Pokémon. “Hey what?!” cried Harry as their Pokémon have taken heavy damage. “Are you all alright?!” cried Charlie who ran to his Goodra. “Fight for your precious world all you want but none of you can stop Zygarde’s wrath!” boasted Lysandre.

 Gallade and Gardevoir sensed that Zygarde was controlled by the energy that was coming from a huge weapon that resembled a flower. It’s known as the Ultimate Weapon. They forewarn this to The McBusted boys. This gave them an idea. They turned to Emma with James saying “Go to that Ultimate Weapon and find a way to cut off its power from Zygarde.” “We believe that it’s how Lysandre is controlling it. Be a hero while we buy some time” said Tom. “You can count on me and Mimi!” said Emma as they allowed Gallade and Gardevoir to safely escort her to the Ultimate Weapon.

 Zygarde was a tough opponent with powerful moves including Thousand Arrows that hit Flying type Pokémon as shown with Vivillon and Talonflame (much to Tom and Harry’s surprise) and Greninja couldn’t dodge the incoming attack with its speed, Thousand Waves which prevented their Pokémon from switching out, Land’s Wrath and Core Enforcer which hits multiple Pokémon hard, even bulky Pokémon including Goodra and Chestnaught who tried to block the moves with Spiky Shield took a huge hit. Not even Mega Alakazam and Mega Gardevoir had an easy time against Zygarde.

 “Well this is getting shaky” said Matt nervously who is full of awe at Zygarde’s power. “Stay strong everyone; we can’t afford to lose here” said Charlie trying to keep calm. 

Lysandre paused for a moment and said "I must say that I am impressed that you all have lasted this long with all this burning passion of yours but that won't be enough to stop me from making my beautiful world. Surly you all must know that there is no point of making this current world better with all the ugliness caused by overpopulation which makes my contribution meaingless?" 

Dominic and the others figured that Lysandre have lost his way at some point but they cannot agree with him. "I get that fighting for the world may not be easy but we don’t give up!” answered Dominic bravely. "Sure there maybe some ugliness in this world but we can still find some beauty or make some beauty, just like with our music that reunite others as we have seen with our fans" said Danny backing him up. "I am no expert but together, we can make the world beautiful by reuniting each other to solve our world's problems. It's what I believe in" said Charlie assertively. 

Lysandre once again looked at them in awe, acknowleding that he may have the power and ambition but they have the optimism and hope that could give them the power to beat him. Still, he can't back down now. "I admit, you all have once again have some powerful worlds but they won't mean anything when I defeat you all!" said Lysandre, continuing the fight. 

“Let’s mix things up to show him what for!” suggested Tom. “Right, I’m with you!” said Danny as they all worked together to fight against Zygarde’s moves.

 Mega Alakazam used Psychic on the Thousand Arrows, sending them right back which gives Greninja and Malamar a chance to fire their Water Shuriken and Psycho Cut. Chestnaught slammed its Wood Hammer on the earth the moment when Zygarde used its Land’s Wrath which helped to slow down the attack, allowing Goodra to attack with Draco Meteor. Delphox and Villvion used their Fire Blast and Hurricane to intercept Thousand Wave and Mega Gardevoir used Hyper Voice to fight against Core Enforcer which was followed by Talonflame charging in with Brave Bird.

 “Now that was a blast!” cheered Harry as he witnessed their teamwork combination. “It’s like giving out a stunning performance for my movies” said Diantha. “I agree, just like for our shows!” said Danny. “Or for my magical tricks” said Dominic. Zygarde was still a tough opponent as it unleashed its Thousand Arrows once again but everyone still held their ground.

 At the same time, Emma found the control panel on The Ultimate Weapon that was converting its powers onto Zygarde which allowed Lysandre to control it while Gallade and Gardevoir were protecting her from Pyroar and Mega Gyarados who followed them but both were defeated by Gallade’s Close Combat and Gardevoir’s Moonblast. This helped Emma’s Mini to buy enough time to disconnect the Ultimate Weapon from Zygarde, freeing it from its control by using its psychic powers.

 Zygarde has stopped attacking and turned towards Lysandre and The Ultimate Weapon. “Alright! It worked!” cheered Matt. “Let them have it!” said Danny as they witnessed  Zygarde destroy The Ultimate Weapon using Core Enforcer with Emma, Gallade and Gardevoir getting out of the way in time. 

Lysandre stood there in shock having to be defeated and The Ultimate Weapon shattering before his eyes. Once he came round, he turned to the McBusted boys and said with sorrow "So it seems that your idea of a beautiful world is what bested me. I guess that deep down, I knew that turning my back on humanlity has made me weak all along." 

Even after everything he has done, the McBusted boys and the others can sense some good in him. "You may not be completely wrong Lysandre but there is still a lot of beauty in this world for which we must strive to protect. Why, even there's some beauty in you" said Dominic gently. "Yeah, it maybe tough but I believe that it's never too late to make things better in this world" said Matt. "That's right, espsically if we work together to understand one another more. After all, we all live in the same beauitful world that we must cherish" said Harry. Lysandre gave a small smile, inspired by their kindness and optimism which he realised that it's what the world need more of. He allowed himself to be taken to the police to think things over. 

“What? This can’t be! My plans are perfect!” cried Lysandre as The Ultimate Weapon was shattered before his eyes. “You did great Emma” said Harry thanking her. “We owe you a lot” said Dominic. “We’re glad to help” replied Emma. “How would you like to come to our show as our way of thanking you?” asked Charlie. Emma was thrilled. “I would like that!” she said excitedly. Afterwards,  the rest of Team Flare was arrested and Zygarde separated itself as its core cells though one of the cells followed Lysandre as he was taken away. 

 Chapter 4: A Song that reunites

Having to save Kalos, the concert in Lumiose City went on as planned but they had a visit from the tall man who witnessed their battle; AZ. He was the former king of Kalos and the original creator of The Ultimate Weapon using life energy from Pokémon whose lives were lost during the war that took place in Kalos long ago.  It used to bring back his partner Pokémon Floette to life after it was killed during the said war.

 However, because AZ was still enraged with the war that took away his Floette, he turned the machine into a weapon that destroyed both sides of the conflict which ended the war. Having to be saddened by his actions, his Floette left him, leaving AZ to wander with guilt in his heart for 3000 years having to become immortal due to his exposure to the Ultimate Weapon, unable to move on from the guilt and pain in his heart.

 The McBusted boys felt sorry to hear about AZ’s tragic story. “I thank you brave warriors for stopping the Ultimate Weapon from being used once again. Can I ask you all a request? Could I have a Pokémon battle? I think it’ll help me to remind me what is a trainer?” asked AZ. “Why of course, we’ll be happy to help” said Danny. “I know, how about you battle during our performance for a song we have written about Mega Evolution?” suggested James. AZ accepted that offer and Dominic volunteered to battle him on their behalf, borrowing their Gallade and Gadevoir.

 “Tonight’s song is dedicated to everyone who fought to protect Kalos and the power of Mega Evolution!” called Tom. “And please welcome on Stage Dominic and AZ!” said Charlie.

 While The McBusted boys performed their new song ‘The Beauty of Kalos’ Dominic used his Alakazam alongside Gallade and Gardevoir against AZ’s Torkoal, Golurk and Sigilyph. AZ is shown to hold his own including making use of Torkoal’s ability Drought which made its Fire-type moves stronger with the Sun but Dominic was able to be a tough opponent as he Mega Evolved his Alakazam (which is fitting for their song) and make full use of Gallade and Gardevoirs’ psychic abilities who placed their trust in him.

 The crowds resonated with the song that emphasised Kalos’ beauty and Mega Evolution’s power that comes from connection and the accelerating battle that blends in with the song filled the stage with energy.

 “So what do you think?” asked Diantha who is with Emma as part of the audience. “It’s so magnificent” said Emma who was amazement throughout.  The crowd were cheering for them as the song ended and Dominic was victorious. For the first time in centuries, AZ made a smile. “I have found peace. For that, I thank you”

 Then, as if on cue, there was something small that descended from the sky towards AZ. It was his long-lost friend Floette. “...Floette...It’s been 3,000 years” said AZ who was filled with so much emotion, having to be reunited with his beloved Pokémon and collapsing to his knee. The McBusted boys were moved by the emotional reunion, as with Dominic and the crowd watching in awe. They weren’t sure if it was the power of their voices, AZ freeing the pain from his heart or both. But it didn’t matter as they were happy for him. “I’m so happy that I could cry” said Dougie tearfully.

 After the show, the McBusted boys were watching the fireworks at Lumoise City, celebrating their victory. “I’ve seen so many fireworks but I’ll never forget these fireworks because I’m watching with all of you” said Harry. “I’m so glad that went touring with all of you. I meet so many great people and Pokémon, visit many people and make many wonderful memories” said Matt happily. They were all holding their hands tightly.

 Once the fireworks were over, it was time for them to depart. But not before Diantha and Dominic have given them parting gifts. “I believe that you all have the bond and trust to Mega Evolve your Pokémon” said Diantha, giving them Key Stones. “And I have found the Mega Stones you need since we last met” said Dominic who handed over Galladite and Gardevorite. “Thanks! Now we can use Mega Evolution!” said Danny excitedly. “Looking forward to the day when the time comes to take evolution to the next level” said James. Gallade and Gardevoir were thrilled to have access to their Mega Evolutions but only for the right place at the right time.

 For now, they have bid farewell to their friends with Dominic saying that he’ll be seeing them again soon. The McBusted boys certainly won’t forget this tour with the beautiful memories they have made and the accomplishments that they have achieved.

McBusted's Pokémon Adventures Part 6: Heroes of The Academy

Here is part six of my fan fiction for two of my favourite boy bands McFly and Busted in their super group McBusted where they continued their tour in the world of Pokémon at the Unova Region from the Gen 5 games although this will have reference to the Indigo Disk from Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. While touring in Unova, the McBusted boys were invited to perform at the grand opening for The Blueberry Academy, only to find that it was under attack by Team Plasma. Heroes of The Academy

 Chapter 1: Arrival in Unova

Two boy bands McFly and Busted who are close friends and have joined together as McBusted are continuing their tour and adventures in the world of Pokémon, this time in the Unova region which is well known for its mixture of old-world charm and modernity along with huge skyscrapers and a variety of facilities.

 They were greeted by a young champion and Dragon Master, Iris, who was full of energy. “Hi McBusted! Welcome to Unova! I wish you all a wonderful time here!” said Iris, excited for their arrival. Thanks! We certainly will!” thanked Tom. “This certainly is a massive place,” said James, who was looking around the buildings with fascination.

 During their tour around Unova, they have caught and raised a couple of new Pokémon including Volcarona for Danny, Escavalier for Tom, Accelgor for James (both of them traded their Karrablast and Shelmet for them to evolve), Samurott for Charlie, Serperior for Dougie, Emboar for Matt and Hydreigon for Harry. There was one time during one of their shows at the end when there was a small fire on stage next to Harry’s drums as accidentally set by Matt’s Emboar. Dougie was the one who spotted it while Charlie used his Samurott to put it out. Danny however was oblivious to the commotion, thanking his fans for the wonderful show.  James did consider letting Danny know but he thought it would be amusing that way. Tom would have also let him know but he didn’t feel like it.

 While in Nimbasa City, Danny, Tom, Charlie and Matt were on the Ferris wheel. They find it rather romantic to ride in the same carriage as each other. “It’s nice that we have the carriage all to ourselves” said Danny who enjoyed their company. “I agree, it’s like a nice getaway” conquered Tom happily. “Yeah, we can enjoy the flow with this ride together” said Matt who finds himself flirting with them. “We should do this more often” said Charlie smiling as he blushed.

 Meanwhile at Icirrus City, Harry was jogging with Dougie and James (having to drag them out) near the puddles and found a Stunfisk. “That’ll be for me to catch!” said Harry, tossing his Pokeball at it but he missed and Stunfisk dived into the puddles. “Huh? Where did it go?” said Harry just before he stepped on it, causing it to shock him. Stunfisk laughed in amusement while Harry lay on the ground in shock and disappeared. “Well that what I call shocking!” said Dougie who found it amusing at Harry’s expense. “That’s for when I was coming up with a new song!” said James.

 They have better luck in the Subway Battle at Nimbasa City where they defeated the Subway Bosses Ingo and Emmet’s Eelecktross and Chandelure. “Alright! We make a great team!” cheered Dougie. “This shows that both bands work well in a team!” said Charlie. They both looked at each other with their admiration for working togoether. Their Kirlias were cheering for them.

 Sometime later, they took part in Pokestar Studios with Danny staring in one of the Invaders series movies ‘The UFO and the Mysterious Woman’ , using his Volcorna to attack the decoy UFO with full force…perhaps a bit too much as UFO decoy got destroyed. “Look what you done! You ruined the UFO!” cried the Scientist while they watched the finished movie. “I may have gone overboard” said Danny blushing.  “Yeah, I thought I’d messed up the Full Metal Cop movie by stalling too much time” said Matt. As it turned out though, their Pokémon have become stars with their movies exceeding the audience’s exceptions.

 During their time in Unova, they were watched by a mysterious man named N who took note of the bond they have with each other and especially their Pokémon (like one time when they were sharing their Casteliacones with their Kirlias), something of which he admired. Unknown to N, he was also watched by some ninja-like figures.

 Chapter 2: Fight for the Academy

The McBusted boys received an invitation from Iris to perform at the Blueberry Academy for its grand opening which was built in Unova’s oceans. The Blueberry Academy is set to be an innovative teaching facility for aspiring future Pokémon Masters with the Terarium home to many unique Pokémon.

 They were fascinated to perform the newly opened facility set in the ocean. The Blueberry Academy sounds wicked” said James. “I am honoured to be part of the grand opening” said Matt. “I bet it’ll help aspiring young Pokémon Masters” said Danny. “Didn’t mess this one up this time” teased Tom.

 Once they had arrived however, Iris frantically rushed over to them. “What seems to be the trouble?” asked Dougie. “Guys! It’s an emergency! The Teraium is suddenly under attack by some rotten group of people known as Team Plasma! They’re trying to steal Pokémon! We need your help!” begged Iris, much to the McBusted’s boys' concern. “That sounds terrible! We can’t allow some evil people to ruin such a fascinating facility!” said Charlie who is troubled by this. “Then let us teach those Team Plasma Punks a lesson!” said Harry, ready for action.  With that, the boys and their Kirlias followed Iris into the Terarium and were more than ready to defend the Academy.

 The undersea facility of the Teraium homes a variety of Pokémon, divided into four biomes; The Savannah Biome, The Coastal Biome, The Canyon Biome and the Polar Biome, except three of the Biomes were frozen over. In any case, every Biomes were under attack by Team Plasma Grunts as led by the three Shadow Traids, attacking and capturing Pokémon in their cages while causing damage to the biomes along the way. The McBusted boys split up to defend the first three Biomes.

 “We Team Plasma shall free those Pokémon from your prison! These Pokémon are better off free, under our care!” said one of the Team Plasma grunts. “But they are wild Pokémon that help students to learn about Pokémon and their ecosystems!” protested Iris. “Even so, what you’re doing is out of order, causing violence and harming Pokémon!” yelled Danny. “You are like those crazy animal rights jerks who do more harm to the cause with your violence and hypocrisy; pissing people off!” cried Dougie. “Our orders are by Lord Ghetsis, right or wrong!” said The Shadow Triad who sends out his Krookodile (accompanied by the Grunt’s Sandile and  Krokoroks) to attack them.

 Krookodile fired its Stone Edge towards Danny’s Volcarona which would be super effective against it but using his quick thinking, Danny said to it “Volcarona, dodge it by showing off your Quiver Dance!” and Volcarona dodged the small pointy stoned with its graceful dance that boosts its Special Attack, Special Defense and Speed. “What a refined dance, just like your dance moves” said Dougie with fascination. “Thanks Dougie and watch as we heat the dance floor with Fiery Dance!” said Danny and his Volcarona flapped its wings and unleashed glowing flames that hit The Shadow Triad’s Krookodile and knocked out most of the grunt’s Pokémon.

Krookodile got up and The Shadow Traid commanded to slow down their Pokémon using Bulldoze. Dougie’s Serpeior took the hit but with its ability Contrary, its Speed was instead raised. “Ha! You all made a grave mistake!” taunted Dougie and his Serperior fired it's Leaf Storm which increased its Special Attack thanks to the ability Contrary (which would otherwise lower it).

 There were still some Team Plasma grunts remaining so Iris helped out using her Haxorus to clear them away using Outrage. “Woah! It’s out of control!” cried Dougie upon witnessing Haxorus’ rampage until it became confused from the fatigue. “Haxorus, slam your head onto the ground!” called Iris. As Haxorus followed her command, it helped it to snap out of its confusion. “Woah! I didn’t know it could do that!” said Danny with amazement. “With some training, anything is possible with your Pokémon!” said Iris.

 This was their chance to free the caged Pokémon. Danny had an idea and told Dougie to keep a close watch.  “Don’t worry, we’re coming to free you!” said Danny as he and his Volcarona charged into the cage that has a Braviary (the nearest cage to him). “Danny! Watch out!” warned Iris as the Krookodile and the other Team Plasma Grunt’s Pokémon were about to attack but Dougie told his Serperior to use Glare to paralyse them. This gives Volcarona a chance to take them out with its Bug Buzz while Danny breaks the cage open with his bare hands, freeing Braviary. This was planned by Danny. “Well done Dougie! We did it!” cheered Danny. “Looks like our brains work well together” said Dougie.  Having to free the Pokémon and defeat Team Plasma, Danny and Dougie smiled at each other as they combined their bravery and tactician successfully.   

 Matt and Harry were at the Canyon Biome, trying to get past The Shadow Traid’s Scrafty and the Grunt’s Scarggys who were blocking the attacks with their Protect, preventing them from rescuing the Pokémon in their cages. “Come on, we gotta break through!” cried Harry frustratingly. “Quit stalling will you?!” cried Matt. “We Team Plasma won’t let you pass! It’s by the will of Lord Ghetsis!” said The Shadow Triad. Harry had an idea. “Hydriegon! Use Taunt!” said Harry and his Hydreigon taunted the opposing Pokémon by waving their two heads. Harry did the taunting too saying “You Team Plasma are sore losers for blindly following your boss!” This has enraged the opposing Pokémon who charged in without listening to their trainers’ commands which made them exposed to Hydreigon’s Tri Attack (which also paralysed, burned or frozen some of the Scarggys). “I wonder who’s doing the taunting here?” said Matt.

 Nevertheless, Matt used this chance for his Emboar to charge in. “Don’t fall for it Scrafty and stop them with your Hi Jump Kick!” ordered The Shadow Triad. “Emboar! Go full throttle using Flare Blitz!” said Matt and his Emboar charged into Scrafty as it was surrounded by the flames, dealing lots of damage to the Scrafty with its ability Reckless. With Harry’s driving competitive nature and Matt’s rash yet bold bravery, helped Iris to free the caged Pokémon including Zangoose and Seviper. “We make a great team do we?” said Matt. “Indeed but you better keep up with me!” said Harry light-heartedly. “You bet I will!” said Matt. They both admired their friendly rivalry that strived them to do better.

 At the Coastal Biome, there were a lot of Team Plasma Grunt’s Purrloin, accompanied by the Shadow Triad’s Liepard scattered about, guarding the caged Pokémon or attacking them. Tom, James and Charlie knew that it wouldn’t be wise for them to charge in like that. “We need to think of a plan to catch them off guard” said Tom. “Let’s combine our heads together” said James. “Just like when coming up with songs” said Charlie. “I call it; Operation Kicking Team Plasma’s butts!” said Tom. “I like it!” said James.

 The plan involved Tom’s Escavalier ambushing The Shadow Triad’s Liepard with Megahorn. This alerted Team Plasma who commanded their Purrloin to attack but they were hurt by the Spikes as set by James’ Accelgor. It also used Yawn which made them dozy. Escavalier helped Accelgor to take out Liepard and the Purrloins with its Close Combat. This gives Charlie’s Samurrot and Iris’ Haxorus to break through the cages using their Razor Shell and Breaking Swipe, freeing the Pokémon that lived in the Coastal Biome including Jellicent . “And I call this operation a success!” said Charlie delightfully as he witnessed the Teraium Pokémon being rescued and Team Plasma’s Pokémon being defeated. “That was good thinking you guys!” cheered Iris. “Glad you’ve been trading me the Accelgor who is faster than the speed of light!” said James. “I say that the Escavalier is better off in my hands” replied Tom but they all nevertheless were glad that the plan worked out as shown with admirable smiles on their faces.

 They figured that the leader of Team Plasma Ghestis could be hiding in the Polar Biome. As they arrived at the Biomes, their Kirlias were able to locate Team Plasmas’ Flying Ship Plasma Frigate with their psychic powers, using their telepathic powers to show The McBusted boys its exact location. “Thanks you both!” said Danny. “We better follow them right away!” said James. They fought more Team Plasma Grunts who used their Pawniards and Bisharps and rescued more Pokémon while protecting their Kirlias. “Your Kirlias are amazing with their shiny colouration and special powers that I don’t think they can normally have!” said Iris with amazement. “That’s right, they are amazing who’s been a help to us!” said Charlie. “Even if they don’t fight as much, it’s good to have them on our side” said Harry.

 They were led to a cave where they found Ghetsis with a Kyurem. “So I see you’re the fools who are making this racket” sneered Ghetsis. “Do you really think we’ll allow you to get away with all of this madness at the Blueberry Academy?” yelled James. “That’s Kyurem! You used it to freeze the Teraium didn’t you?!” demanded Iris. “Just why would you get in the way of people’s dreams of becoming Pokémon masters?!” cried Tom.

 “As if this is my concern and yes; Kyurem has the power to free the whole of Unova. Perhaps I could demonstrate its powers” said Ghetsis who commanded Kyurem to use Glaciate with the icicles heading toward the McBusted boys and Iris. “What are you doing?” said Charlie nervously. “You’re...not thinking of freezing us to death are you?” said Dougie fearfully. “Don’t worry, consider this a gift for making it this far” said Ghetsis with a sinister smile on his face.

 Kyurem was just about to freeze them with its Glaciate when a mysterious man with green hair named N arrived, riding on his Zekrom, one of the legendary Pokémon who used its Fusion Bolt to protect them just in time. “Ghetsis! I cannot allow you to harm those innocent people who are shown to have the love for their Pokémon!” said N who got off his Zekrom. The McBusted boys and Iris were relieved by the timely arrival. “Thanks! We couldn’t be more grateful to be saved by a fan of ours!” said Matt. “I owe you one N” said Iris.  N smiled at them, acknowledging their safety.

 “So if it isn’t you; the freak without a human heart...N! I would have thought that you would be against the idea of Pokémon being confined in this isolated dome” said Ghetsis. “I was initially at first until I was able to understand the academy’s intentions of teaching future trainers about caring for Pokémon which I believe it’ll no doubt bring people and Pokémon close together. That’s why I won’t allow you or Team Plasma to harm the academy!” answered N. The McBusted boys were surprised that they knew each other but they were amazed with N’s conviction.

 “Humph! There you go with all of this talk-talk but you have brought something I wanted” said Ghetsis who got out the DNA Splicers which forced Zekrom and Kyurem to fuse into Black Kyurem, much to everyone’s surprise. “No!...” cried N. “What in the world is this monstrosity?!” exclaimed Harry. “That’s Kyurem fused with the hero who seeks ideas Zekrom; Kyurem Black!” answered Iris.

 Ghetsis was thrilled with the fusion. “Librating Pokémon from the academy? I couldn’t care less! This was all a ruse to bring Zekrom to me since you wouldn’t bear Pokémon getting hurt by us! Perhaps if you and Zekrom have cooperated with us, then none of this would have happen. But now, I shall use Kyurem’s true power to rule Unova with an iron fist and there’s nothing you can do about it!” bragged Ghetsis. “Oh yeah?! We’ll see about that!” Danny retorted. “We’ll show you what we’re made of!” said Matt as they were all ready to battle Kyurem Black.

 Chapter 3: Ideas and evolution

Despite them all working together as one, Kyurem Black was too powerful. Volcarona unleashed its Fiery Dance towards Kyurem Black to drive it back as thought of by Danny. Tom, Matt and Charlie intended to use this for their Escavalier, Emboar and Samurott to ambush it with their Iron Head, Super Power and Liquidation but Kyurem Black repelled the flames by charging in using Fusion Bolt which also hit the four Pokémon.

 James, Dougie and Harry combined their Accelgor’s Bug Buzz, Serperior’s Leaf Storm and Hydreigon’s Draco Meteor toward Kyurem Black but it intercepted those moves using Glaciate, striking the three Pokémon hard.

 N used his Zoroark to back them up, firing its Night Daze at Kyurem Black to defend the McBusted boys’ Pokémon from its Dragon Pulse, giving them a chance to attack together. Although their moves have hit Kyruem Black hard, it fought back using Outrage. The Kirlias used their telepathic powers to forewarn the McBusted boys where it was about to attack, only for Kyurem Black to outsmart them and sucker punch their Pokémon from behind.

 Iris’ Haxorus used its Outrage to fight against Kyurem Black’s Outrage. “It’s like a colossal fight between two titans!” said Tom who was full of awe watching it. The McBusted boy’s Pokémon and Zoroark used this chance to attack Kyurem Black while it was distracted. But immediately afterwards, Kyurem Black unleashed its Freeze Shock which knocked out all of their Pokémon. “No! We can’t lose here!” cried Harry. “I’m sorry, take a good rest” said Charlie as they were forced to withdraw their Pokémon.

 Ghetsis laughed and said “You fools! None of you can stand up to the power of Team Plasma! Maybe you are all better off being frozen, watching me while I dominate the entire region!” and he commanded Kyurem Black to use Glaciate on them once again. The McBusted boys fearfully crowded together as they were about to get frozen but their Kirlias weren’t allowing this to happen and used Psychic to protect them from the icicles. And then, something amazing happened with both Kirlias evolving (with the Dawn Stone attracted to the male Kirlia) into Gallade and Gardevoir, much to the McBusted boy’s amazement. “Wow! You both evolved!” cheered Danny. “Bravo! Go out there and see what you can do!” cheered James.

 With their newfound evolution, the regal knight-like Pokémon Gallade and the elegant bridal-like Pokémon Gardevoir wasted no time testing out their new powers with Gallade striking Kyurem Black with a powerful blade attack made by psychic energy using Psyblade and Gardevoir unleashing a flash of PSI Light using Lumina Crash that directs hits Kyurem Black. Both of these newly learned moves are moves that they normally wouldn’t be able to learn. “Wow! That’s amazing of you both!” said Tom. “You did this for us both” said Charlie smiling. Gallade and Gardevoir smiled at them, knowing that they can truly fight by their side.

 They were able to use their psychic senses to dodge Kyurem Black’s attacks including Fusion Bolt with Gallade fighting against Outrage using Close Combat which hits Kyurem Black hard with it being super effective and Gardevoir firing her Moonblast at Kyurem Black while it was firing its Dragon Pulse, overpowering the move and scoring a super effective hit. “No! I cannot lose! Take them down at once!” cried Ghetsis. As Kyurem Black was charging up its Freeze Shock, Gallade and Gardevoir nodded at the McBusted boys (with Iris watching this with excitement and N smiling at them), knowing what they must do.  They attacked once against with Psyblade and Lumina Crash at Kyurem Black once again, causing them to defuse from each other upon defeat.

 “Alright! You both rock!” called Dougie. “...This can’t be! I am the creator of Team Plasma!  I am perfection! I have the right to rule the world! How could my plans have fallen apart by these fools?!” yelled Ghetsis. “Father! That’s enough! Pokémon are anything but tools! We can live in harmony with Pokémon. Why can’t you understand that?!” asked N. “Enough! Just shut up, shut up, shut up!  Don't talk like a person, you freak! No real person could talk to Pokémon!" wailed Ghetsis as he and the rest of Team Plasma were taken away by the police. “Boy, he is losing it” said Dougie. Iris and N approached Zekrom and Kyurem, healing their wounds with N offering to help send Kyrem back to its home

 Gallade and Gardevoir rushed over to the McBusted boys, hugging them. “We are so proud of you both!” cheered Danny. “Glad for you both to be at our side!” said James happily. Harry then said “Well then, bet our Gallade can beat your Gardevoir!” “Oh yeah? This bride of ours shall crash your wedding!” replied Matt. Gallade and Gardevoir seem to enjoy their friendly banter.

 Chapter 4: This is the truth

 Having to save The Blueberry Academy from Team Plasma, the grand opening went as planned. Iris and N had a quick word with the McBusted boys before the show started. “We can’t thank you all enough for saving The Blueberry Academy!” said Iris. “It’s thanks to you all for ensuring the future for a younger generation of Pokémon Trainers” said N. “We have you to thank for saving us N” said Matt. “If you don’t mind me asking, is it true that you used to be from Team Plasma?” asked Tom.

 “I was meant to tell you this but it’s true that I was a member of Team Plasma with Ghetsis raising me as his child. I used to believe that people and Pokémon shouldn’t be together with some Pokémon being treated cruelly by people with Ghetsis only allowing me to spend time with Pokémon who had been abused. I thought they would be better off separated. At least that is what I used to believe in until I found out that Ghetsis was planning to use me to use Zekrom to rule Unova. I couldn’t allow Team Plasma to use violence and corruption so with Zekrom, I’ve left them. This gives me a chance to see many people getting along with Pokémon, treating them with kindness which balances out the ones who treated them with cruelty. Like I’ve said, I wasn’t sure about the idea of having this facility that isolates Pokémon until I learned that it’ll help to build a connection with people and Pokémon. That’s why I strived to protect it” explained N. “I guess it takes some time to understand some perspectives” said Harry who was intrigued by his wisdom. “Even we have different ideas at times but as long as we understand one another, then it’s all ok” said Charlie who understood him. “We all work well together like chemical act” added Danny, adding his wisdom of his own.

 “And yes, I saw you all bonding with your Pokémon so I knew you all have a kind heart. That’s why your Gallade and Gardevoir have evolved by responding to your hearts” said N. “Yeah and no doubt that they’ll be awesome!” said Dougie. “They have sure come from a long way” added James. Their Gallade and Gardevoir agreed with them.

 Afterwards, the McBusted boys were performing the opening ceremony, singing their new song ‘Truth and Ideas’ which describes Unova’s legends with Gallade and Gardevoir joining their performance along with their other Pokémon (who are proud of their evolution). Iris and N were watching them with N’s first time he experienced their performance, enjoying every minute of it, showing that they worked well together as close friends and a super group.

 As The McBusted boys departed from Unova, they acknowledged that they had come to the region as not just musicians but as heroes who always bring light in the face of darkness, making them remembered as legends who saved the Blueberry Academy.

McBusted's Pokémon Adventures Part 5: Guardians of Time and Space

 Here is part five of my fan fiction for two of my favourite boy bands McFly and Busted in their super group McBusted where they continued their tour in the world of Pokémon  at the Sinnoh region from the Gen 4 games guest starting my original character Dominic with the plot having some similaries to the Diamond and Pearl season of the Pokémon anime.  During their tour in Sinnoh, the McBusted boys meet up with Dominic who all saw sightings of the Lake Guardians. They needed their help to save Sinnoh from Team Galactic. Enjoy and stay tuned for mre. 

Guardians of Time and Space

 Chapter 1: Arrival in Sinnoh

 McFly and Busted’s next destination for their Pokémon tour is in Sinnoh. In stark contrast Hoenn and Orre which had warmer weather, Sinnoh was colder with temperatures as colder as the Icy Wind and most of the region is surrounded by mountains including Mount Coronet which reaches the sky.

 "Blimey, it’s freezing!" Danny exclaimed, wrapping his biceps around himself. "You didn’t think to bring a coat or a jumper?" Tom asked, raising an eyebrow. "I would have but my jumper got burned while doing the ironing!" Danny replied sheepishly, causing the others to chuckle. “Guess that’s the catch of exposing your arms” said Matt slyly with Danny wearing his white vest. “Well, we gotta keep our cool” added James.

 During their stay in Eterna City, the McBusted boys had amusing incidents in their hotel room. Danny and Dougie were about to do the laundry using the washing machine but when they opened the door, it sprayed water at them. “Oh no! My outfit!” cried Dougie. “Looks like we have more washing to do” said Danny taking off his vest. "On the bright side, it's getting hot in here as they say" said Dougie gazing at Danny as soon as he was shirtless. Danny grinned at his punny, playful filrt. 

 James was hungry and went to the fridge to get some Old Gateau that he had put the fridge earlier. When he opened the fridge door, it suddenly unleashed a freezing cold wind at him. “Brrrr, so cold!” said James shivering. Matt opened the oven to get out his pizza but it was burned. “My pizza!” he cried. Even though he is shivering, James pat on Matt's back for reassurance. Even though it wasn't that much of a big deal, Matt couldn't help but to be charmed by that. 

 Tom and Charlie were in the bedroom writing some song ideas but the fan on the desk unexpectedly turned itself on and blew their papers everywhere. “Oh no my notes!” cried Tom as he and Charlie frantically tried to catch them. “Who turned on the fan? It’s not even hot!” exclaimed Charlie.

  Harry walked through the hall and found a lawn mower. “Now why would a lawn mower be here out of all places?” said Harry. Suddenly, the lawn mower came to life and chased Harry. “Help! Help! The lawn mower has gone mad!” screamed Harry. Luckily, the McBusted boy’s room was open and their Kirlias spotted the lawn mower, sensing that something was processing it. They fired their Psybeams at it and a Rotom came out of it which made its escape into the hall light. “So that was the one who wreaked havoc in our room huh?” said Matt. “It’s better than the room that Danny and I stayed in I guess” said Tom.

 Putting that incident behind them, they explored the vast region during their tour. They frolicked around Floaroma Meadow, running, galloping, rolling and dancing around in the fields as they laughed and smiled, enjoying each other’s company as they got closer. Their Kirlias who joined in were happy to see their love for each other. Along the way, they have caught and raised many new Pokémon including Garchomp for Danny, Lucario for Tom, Leafeon for James, Torterra for Charlie, Glaceon for Dougie, Infernape for Matt and Emploeon for Harry.

 There is one time when they were at the Great Marsh with both bands having a competition to see who’ll catch the most Pokémon with the McFly boys trying to catch a Croagunk and the Busted boys trying to catch a Psyduck. “How are we supposed to move about in this icky marsh?” cried Harry who was having difficulties moving before he tripped over. Dougie tossed some mud at the Croagunk which made it mad and jabbed Dougie with its Poison Jab, causing him to get stunned. “Medic! Medic!” cried Danny as he and Tom picked him up. “We got a Dougie down!” yelled Tom.

 As for the Busted boys, Charlie tossed a Safari Ball at a Psyduck but he accidentally hit its head, causing it to have a headache and unleashed its Confusion at them, causing them to fall into the marsh. “You need to work on your aim there” said James dryly. “Let’s hope the washing machine isn’t processed again” muttered Matt. Nevertheless, they all see the funny side of those incidents which they shared with their fans during the tour which made them howl with laughter. At the backstage, their Kirlias were dancing to their music which gave them so much energy even if they weren’t ready to venture out on stage yet.

A while later, Danny and Matt have spotted a violin-like Bug type Kricketune and a parrot with a musical note head Chatot nearby a building. Being the kind of Pokémon that they would like, they were eager to catch them. "We gotta catch them!" said Danny. "I'll be the first one!" said Matt, tossing their Pokeballs at the two Pokémon but they missed and the Pokeballs smashed a window. Danny and Matt ran off, fearing that they'll get into trouble. 

 Sometime afterwards, The McFly boys visited Lake Verity where they saw a mysterious figure that briefly appeared. “Hey, did you see that?” asked Danny. “Yeah, it’s either a ghost or it’s the side effects from the medicine” said Dougie. Likewise, the Busted boys have seen something at Lake Valour for a brief moment. “There’s something in the lake” said James. “Yeah, I saw that too” said Charlie.

 They meet up with a fan of theirs who they have met before named Dominic who has watched their shows in Veilstone City. “It’s nice to meet you again Dominic!” said Danny as he and Dominic hugged each other tightly. “Happy to see you all again too!” replied Dominic smiling. The McBusted boys have shared with him their stories in Sinnoh including their experiences at Lake Verity and Lake Valour. Dominic has remembered something. “Come to think of it, I was at Lake Acuity when I thought I saw a figure of a Pokémon in the lake” said Dominic. “You saw something too?” said Matt with surprise. Dominic thought hard for a moment and said “I think it could be a legendary Pokémon.” “Legendary Pokémon? What could this mean?” asked Tom who was intrigued. Dominic had an idea. He said that he knows someone who is an expert on Sinnoh’s Mythology and considered arranging a visit. “Sounds like a good idea Dominic. We gotta get clued up on this” said Dougie. Before that, Dominic has noticed their shiny Kirlias. “Fascinating that you have some shiny Pokémon” said Dominic. “They hatched from an egg that we got from Mewtwo” explained Harry. “They may not look it but they have been a help” said Charlie. Dominic was intrigued to hear this.

 Unknown to them, a man was overhearing this.

 Chapter 2: Unlocking legends

 The McBusted boys have met up with Dominic at the Celastic Town Research Centre who introduced them to the Sinnoh champion and Archaeologist Cynthia. He said that he knew her as a friend while studying Sinnoh himself.

 “It’s nice to meet you all. Dominic has been telling me all about you both bands!” said Cynthia who had a strong presence as the champion but showed them a warm, friendly smile. “It’s an honour to meet you!” said Danny as they shook hands with each other. “Never I would thought that I would meet the Sinnoh champion like this!” said Tom excitedly.

 They were also visited by a businessman named Cyrus who also wanted to learn more about the legends. “I apologise for gate-crash this meeting of yours but I just happened to visit here and was intrigued by the legends so I couldn’t help myself” said Cyrus. “That’s ok, it’s always nice to share my knowledge with more people” said Cynthia politely. “The crowd is getting bigger already” said Dougie to himself.

 Dominic and the McBusted boys have told Cynthia and Cyrus about what they saw at the lakes. “I believe they are a special kind of Pokémon known as the lake guardians. Uxie who you saw at Lake Acuity is the bearer of Knowledge. The one at Lake Verity is known as Mespirt who represents emotions. As for Lake Valour, it’s said to home Azelf who gives out willpower. They are said to have been born when the Original One created the universe with their role is to calm down two of Sinnoh’s legendary Pokémon whenever they are enraged known as Dialga known as the Lord of Time and Palkia known as the Lord of Space.”

 They were all astonished to hear such a legend. “To think that we should see such incredible Pokémon!” said Matt as he was taking it all in. “But why would we be the ones to see them?” said Charlie with his eyebrows rose. “It’s certainly unusual for the Lake Guardians to show up among yourselves. It’s not every day that anyone gets to see them” said Cynthia who appeared to be in deep thought. “It’s like they have chosen us for a reason” said James.

 This intrigued Cyrus who rose from his seat and eagerly asked them “So tell me! How did you feel seeing those Lake Guardians? For them to show up in a huge group of people must mean something! You have to tell me everything about your experience including anything that they might have been trying to tell you! Surly for them to appear in front of you must be fate!” The boys felt unnerved by his intimidating presence. Cyrus then backed down, recomposed and said “...I apologize for my over-eagerness. I was just fascinated with such a phenomenon. Now will you excuse me, I have something urgent to attend to” said Cyrus and went off. The boys were bewildered by this while Cynthia couldn’t help but to find him suspicious. “What’s with him?” said Harry. Cynthia put her suspicions aside and said “My apologizes; if you all find anything more about the Lake Guardians, then please don’t hesitate to let me know.”  “Thanks, we certainly will” said Danny.

 Not long after this, Dominic and the McBusted boys all had a dream when they saw the Lake Guardians. “Wow! It’s you!” said Dougie excitedly as he sees Mespirt in front of him, Danny, Tom and Harry. “You all must have taken a liking to us” said Matt admirably with Azelf floating around him, James and Charlie. Dominic was taking note that Uxie was right next to him. But the Lake Trio were frantically calling out to them as if they were trying to warn them about something. “Wait! What are you all trying to tell us?!” cried Dominic as the Lake Trio became consumed by darkness.

 This caused them all to wake up in shock and awe. This morning, they all meet up with Dominic to have breakfast. “Did any of you have a weird dream last night?” asked Danny. “Funny you should ask. I was with you all when we saw the Lake Guardians” answered James. They were all astonished that they all had the same dream. “You think that they are...trying to warn us about something?” asked Harry who was getting concerned. “I think we better let Cynthia know right away” said Dominic.

 What they have dreamed is about to come true.

 Chapter 3 A Clash of time and space

 It turned out that Cyrus is the leader of Team Galactic who wants to create a new world using the power of Sinnoh’s legendary Pokémon Dialga and Palkia having successfully obtained the Adament and Luscious Orbs that are said to contain these legendary Pokémon. In order to call Dialga and Palkia, Team Galactic created Galactic Bombs and dropped them into the three lakes to force Uxie, Mespirt and Azelf to appear for them to be captured.

 As the Lake Guardians were captured, Dominic and the McBusted boys who were with Cynthia all felt a strong pain in their minds. It was the Lake Guardian’s way of contacting them. “Aah! I felt it!” cried Tom who held his forehead as if he was having a headache. “It’s Mespirt! It needs our help!” cried Charlie. Cynthia was alarmed seeing this. “Come with me, I have a bad feeling that something is happening in Mount Coronet” said Cynthia, leading them to her jeep. “Mount Coronet? That’s where the Spear Pillar is!” said Dominic. “Precisely and there’s a chance that we may get ourselves involved with legendary Pokémon” said Cynthia cautiously. “Guess we’ll be having a free trip to the mountains” said Dougie lighting the mood. “I guess that’s one way to call it” said Cynthia appreciating his humour.

 As they were making their way, Cyrus was with the captured Lake Guardians. “Soon, I’ll have everything I need to create a new world without war or conflict” said Cyrus as he was about to place the Red Chain fragments that Team Galactic has crafted onto the Lake Guardians in order to control them. As the Red Chain fragments were taking control of the Lake Guardians, Dominic and the McBusted boys, having to be synchronized to them were all feeling their pain. “Aaah! My head!” screamed Harry. “It’s stronger than before!” cried Matt. “No...they need our help!” cried Dominic. “It’s those Lake Guardians for sure” said Cynthia with concern.  Using their last bit of power before the Red Chain took total control, the Lake Guardians teleported Dominic and the McBusted boys to Team Galactic HQ, much to Cynthia’s surprise.

 Once they got round, they were surprised to see the Lake Trio and Cyrus. “Hey, it’s those Lake Guardians who called us!” exclaimed Danny. “Didn’t we see you back in Celastic Town?” said James as soon as he spotted Cyrus.  “I should have guessed; those Lake Guardians have chosen all of you for a reason. But you are all too late as I have now taken control of them using the power of the Original One” said Cyrus, showing his glove that has a Red Chain fragment.  “What are you trying to do with them?!” yelled Tom. “It’s all to create a new world without conflict or emotion” explained Cyrus.  “Our world is beautiful even with all the difficulties which reunites us humans and Pokémon to make it better, we can’t let you take that away!” said Dominic.  Yeah, we are not going to let that happen!” said Charlie and their Kirlias fired their Psybeams towards the Red Chain Fragments on the Lake Guardian’s foreheads to free them but they were intercepted by their Extrasensory as controlled by Cyrus. He then commanded his devious Pokémon Weavile to summon icicle pillars using Icicle Crash to instantly knock down the two Kirlias and surround Dominic and the McBusted boys, trapping them.

  “I do not wish any harm upon you all but there’s no need to let our emotions get the better of us” said Cyrus as he commanded the Team Galactic Admins Mars, Jupiter and Saturn to lock them all away, intending to keep them as hostages in case the Lake Guardians were set free from his control. “Let us out you jerks!” yelled Dougie. The boys felt helpless. “Dominic, I am sorry for getting you dragged into this” said Danny apologetically. “I shouldn’t have got you all involved” said Dominic remorsefully. “The Lake Guardians have called for our help yet here we are” said James grimy.

 Luckily, they were rescued by Cynthia with her Garchomp who tore the door open with its claws (it has also knocked out some Team Galactic grunts along the way guarding the door). “Cynthia!” called Charlie. “Thought I’ll drop by and say Hello” said Cynthia keeping her cool but nevertheless thankful for their safety. “Guess this makes us the damsels for a change” said Tom jokingly. They all explained what had happened. “Right, it’s just as I’ve thought. Team Galactic is trying to unlock Sinnoh’s legends to create a new world but there’s no time to waste” said Cynthia. "Let’s stop this Cyrus bloke and save Sinnoh" declared Harry. “Yeah, those Lake Guardians have chosen us to be heroes after all!” said Matt.

 They all fought their way through Mount Coronet with their Kirlias leading the way using their telepathic powers to figure out the paths that lead to the Spear Pillar, encountering Team Plasma Grunts who sent out their Golbats and Bronzors to stop them from progressing any futher.

 The two Kirlias tried to help out by defending the McBusted Boys from the Grunt’s Golbats and Bronzors firing their Air Cutter and Extrasensory by firing their Psybeams at the incoming attacks but the opposing moves easily overpowered them, knocking them towards the hole. “No!” cried Danny but luckily, Cynthia’s  Togekiss rescued them by gilding towards them and caught them both just in time while Dominic sent out his Sylveon to repel the Grunt’s Pokémon with its Sparkly Swirl (even though the Pokémon resisted the move). “Thanks for the help! Are you both alright?” asked Charlie. The Kirlias were grateful for the help.

 The three Team Galactic Admins Mars, Jupiter and Saturn have shown up along with more Grunts.“What? How did you all escape?!” cried Mars. “Just why did the Lake Guardians choose you all?” ranted Jupiter.   “I honestly don’t know but we won’t let you take our world!” said Tom. “Sorry but we don’t let anyone get in the way of our world” said Saturn as they sent out their Pokémon. Several Team Galactic grunts went over to back them up.

 Dominic’s Sylveon gives its allies Pokémon a boost with its Helping Hand. “Garchomp! Use Scale Shot!” said Danny to help out Matt’s Infernape against the Golbats but he got mixed up with his Garchomp for Cynthia’s, much to their confusion. Cynthia smiled and said “Guess that happens at the best of times” although her Garchomp helped them out using Dragon Rush on the Grunt’s Golbats (it differs from Danny’s Garchomp by not having a notch on its dorsal fin, making it a female). Danny’s Garchomp followed up the attack with Scale Shot to take out the rest of the Golbats. “Toxicroak, stop those Garchomps with your Sucker Punch!” said Saturn and his Toxicroak charged in and strike Danny’s Garchomp but it got hurt by its Rough Skin ability so instead, Saturn commanded Toxicroak to fire its Focus Blast at Danny’s Garchomp but Matt’s Infernape intercepted the attack with its Fire Blast. “We may compete against each other when it comes to sports but we’re on the same team this time” said Matt.  “The one thing we’re good at” replied Danny agreeing with him.

 Saturn’s Toxicroak wasn’t down yet and was about to hit Dominic’s Sylveon with its Poison Jab after it got confused by the Golbat’s Confuse Ray but Danny and Matt’s Garchomp and Infernape protected Sylveon with their Iron Head and Mach Punch. Dominic thanked them. “I’m always by your side Dominic” said Danny with those two looking at each other in the eye. “Remember to use your setbacks as your strengths” said Matt. “Always by your side too and as I always remember” replied Dominic, returning the favour with his Sylveon firing its Mythical Flare at the remaining Bronzors.

 James and Harry were up against Jupiter and the other grunts. “Skuntank! Weaken their defensives with Screech!” ordered Jupiter and her Skuntank unleashed an ear-piercing sound-based attack that lowered Leafeon’s and Emploeon’s defensives. “Aaah! This is more painful than Dougie’s bass off-key!” cried James with Dougie overhearing this and said “I’ve heard that!” However, Empoleon’s Competitive ability was activated, raising its Special Attack upon having its defensive lowered. The ability matches Harry’s brash personality with him boasting “Ha! That move of yours backfired! Now sit back and watch as we own you all!” said Harry as it fired Scald towards Jupiter’s Skuntank and the grunt’s Golbats (some of which got burned). But Jupiter wasn’t backing down and said “I’ll show you that we are meant to be synchronized with the Lake Guardians! Skuntank, use Sucker Punch!” said Jupiter and it strike Harry’s Empoleon fast and hard. “Where’s your bravado now?” taunted Jupiter with her Skuntank about to hit Empoleon with Knock Off but James’ Leafeon defended Emploeon from the move using Sappy Seed. “Better not get too carried away at times” said James. “I guess you're right” said Harry mutually agreeing yet with admiration.

 Jupiter’s Skuntank then used its Stench ability to release a foul smell that prevented Empoleon and Leafeon from attacking because of the smell. “What’s that stench?!” cried James. “I bet Matt’s underwear smells as bad as this” groaned Harry. Dominic commanded his Sylveon to fire its Hyper Voice to repel the smell while doing damage to the opposing Pokémon with its Pixilate ability boosting its power. Cynthia’s Togekiss followed up the attack with its Air Slash. “That was good thinking there Dominic” said James praising him. “I should come up with something like that next time” said Harry, striving to do better. “It’s all about thinking outside the box” said Dominic.

 “Purugly, stop them with Fake Out!” ordered Mars and her Purugly clapped its paws at Charlie’s Torterra, causing it to flinch. Dougie helped Charlie out by commanding his Glaceon to fire its Ice Beam but Mars’ Purugly strike first with its Sucker Punch. “Hey what?” cried Dougie. Tom tried to help them with his Lucario but the Grunt’s Bronzors got in the way with their Light Screen shielding Lucario’s Aura Sphere.  “You’ll never catch us Team Galactic!” taunted Mars. “Just how do we break through?” said Charlie. Dominic (who sends out his East Sea Gastrodon to back up Sylveon) and Cynthia come by and said “By combining our power together as one.” “Working together in Pokémon battles is like working together as a band” said Charlie.

 “I like that; let’s combine all our attacks at once!” said Tom as his Lucario fired its Aura Sphere again with Glaceon and Gastrodon firing their Freezy Frost and Scald, breaking through the Light Screen and Mars’ Purugly unable to sucker punch them all at once. “Now that is for being a bad kitty” said Dougie. “Now I’ll do the finale!” said Charlie as his Torterra used Shell Smash and unleashed its Earthquake at its opponents combined with Cynthia’s Garchomp’s own Earthquake and Dominic’s Gastrodon’s Earth Power.  “We do work better as a team even as different bands” said Charlie. “Which is how it should be for our super group” conquered Tom as they were looking at each other eye to eye.

 With the Team Galactic Grunts and Admins defeated, they were all able to proceed to the Spear Pillar; the ancient ruins on the peak of Mt Coronet (but not before Matt asking Harry “What was this talk about my underwear?”). The air grew colder as they ascended, the wind howling through the crumbling pillars but there was no time to feel the cold as they all witnessed Cyrus using the Lake Trio to call upon Sinnoh’s two legendary Pokémon Dialga and Palkia.

 “I’ll give you all credit for making it this far but you won't be able to stop my new world without strife being born!” said Cyrus as he controlled Dialga and Palkia using the Red Chain. “We won’t let that happen! We love our world and everyone living in it!” argued Danny. “You fooled us alright back at Celastic Town!” said Dominic. “But this time, we’ll be the ones protecting our world!” called James and the two Kirlias and Dominic’s Sylveon fired their Psybeams and Mystical Flare at the Red Chain fragments on the Lake Guardians on their foreheads which freed them from Cyrus’ control.

 Dominic and the McBusted boys were overjoyed to see the Lake Trio coming towards them, grateful for their rescue. “Wow! You’re so pretty” said Dougie as he shared the other's amazement and wonder seeing the Lake Guardians in the flesh. “It’s an honour to meet you all properly!” said Matt with excitement. “It’ll be great to learn more about you while we’re here” said Dominic modestly but unable to contain his joy seeing Uxie.

 Cynthia smiled seeing the Lake Guardians too although she knew that this wasn’t over yet. “Don’t celebrate just yet with the inevitable birth of my world!” said Cyrus who forced Diagla and Palkia to attack them while the new world was forming with so much energy that threatened to engulf Sinnoh. The Lake Guardians telepathically asked Dominic and the McBusted boys to help them weaken Diagla and Palkia for The Lake Guardians to free them from Cyrus’ control. “Of course, you all chose us after all” said Harry.

 It was an intense battle with the legendary Pokémon’s powers that threatened to tear the very fabric of reality apart but they all worked together as a supergroup. Tom’s Lucario and Matt’s Infernape worked together, using all their physical might to fight against the incoming attacks from Diagla and Palkia including Roar of Time and Spacial Rend using their Close Combat. This gives the other Pokémon a chance to charge in but Cyrus sends out his Weavile to stop them. The two Kirlias fired their Disarming Voice towards Weavile who dodged the attacks with its Speed and fired its Icicle Crash at them but Dominic’s Gastrodon avenged them by firing its Scald at Cyrus’ Weavile. Cynthia’s Garchomp and Togekiss bodyguard the Kirlias, uses their swift and elegent movements respetively to dodge or take out Weavile’s Ice Shard and Knock Off using Outrage and Dazzling Gleam while also providing a distraction.

 Meanwhile, Dougie’s Glaceon and Harry’s Empoleon teamed to fire their icy and water-type attacks which created a freezing storm that slowed the Legendary Pokémon’s movements. This was Danny’s Garchomp and James’ Leafeon cue to combine their powerful attacks including Earthquake and Sappy Seed which created an earth-shattering attack that shocked the ground underneath the Legendary Pokémon.  

 The two Legendary Pokémon weren’t down yet with Diagla and Palkia pounding them with Draco Meteor. But Charlie’s Torterra and Dominic’s Sylveon back them up with Torterra slamming its Wood Hammer when they tried to slash them with Dragon Claw and Sylveon unleashing its Sparkly Swirl at them. Diagla and Palkia fought back firing their Flash Cannon and Hydro Pump, hitting their Pokémon hard but they didn’t give up and helped to defend one another by firing their attacks at the incoming moves such as Garchomp’s Scale Shot, Infernape’s Fire Blast and Lucario’s Aura Sphere or using their defensives to shield the moves including Empoleon and Torterra that allowed the others to strike together once more until they were weakened enough to break free from Cyrus’ control but they were still enraged and the portal that turned into a black hole is expanding. “If we don’t stop it, then the entire of Sinnoh will be in danger!” cried Cynthia. This was the chance for the Lake Guardians to reach them with help from Dominic and the McBusted boys. “We’ll lead you our power to save the world” said Charlie.

 Dominic and the McBusted boy’s combined their minds with the Lake Trio to save Sinnoh, starting with the Busted boys with Azelf using their will and determination to make anything possible despite the odds. “Now do it!” called Matt as Azelf charged into the black hole using Explosion. Dominic and Uxie telepathically consoled Dialga and Palkia with Dominic using his rationalized wisdom yet with empathy saying “There is no need to fight. We only want to help you both to protect your world along with the people and Pokémon sharing it that makes Sinnoh beautiful.” This helped to calm down their rage. Finally, the McFly boys and Mespirt used their feelings, compassion and love to heal Dialga and Palkia.

 All of this has helped Dialga and Palkia to settle down with the black hole disappearing and the two legendaries returning to their dimension as created by the Lake Guardians. "This can’t be!" cried Cyrus as he crotched down to the ground defeated having his new world slipped away. “Give it up now, it’s over” said Cynthia. The Lake Trio were happily floating around Dominic and the McBusted boys who were overjoyed to save Sinnoh from the brink of destruction. “Why in the world you choose all of us?” asked Tom who is still over the moon. “I say you all have a special connection along with the pure hearts and love that makes them drawn to you all” said Cynthia smiling.

 The Kirlias were happy to see such a sight though they couldn’t help but feel that they had let the McBusted boys down with them not being strong enough. The McBusted boys noticed this with Danny giving them encouragement saying “Don’t worry, you both did your best.” “We wouldn’t have made it here without your special abilities” added James reassuring them. “You may not be brilliant as a diamond...” said Harry. “...or shining as a pearl but that’s ok as long as you both keep trying” said Matt. This helped to livft the Kirlias’ spirits up and vowed to get stronger for them,

 The Lake Trio bid their farewell to Dominic and the McBusted boys, hoping to meet each other again. Meanwhile, Cyrus and all of Team Galactic were arrested.

 Chapter 4: Harmony for Sinnoh

 "This one’s for all of you!" said James as they were at Sunnyshore City for their final concert in Sinnoh, singing their brand new song "Timeless Galaxy" inspired by their battle at the Spear Pillar with the lyrics that described their experience and Sinnoh’s legendaries. "Thank you, Sinnoh!" Danny shouted into his microphone as the crowd were cheering for their new song.  Dominic and Cynthia were among the audience who had smiles on their faces. They reckon that the power of their music could help to reach out to Pokémon. The two Kirlias were clapping for them backstage.

 The day afterwards, the McBusted boys exchanged their farewells to Cynthia with them thanking each other and Dominic who hugged each of them (with Danny embracing him that felt like it lasted more than a second) and said that he’ll be looking forward to meeting them again. Dominic said to himself “I should find the very things that’ll help their Kirlias to get stronger when they evolve”.

 And so the McBusted boys departed from Sinnoh, having to arrive as musicians but were leaving as heroes which makes this tour the one that they’ll never forget.
